Everyone was happy and pleasant. Maybe it was the season, but I'm sure a good part of it was meeting and greeting loyal customers. Many of the people I met had been coming to Joyview for years. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Greg. I told him I was a new customer, and we ended up talking shop for quite some time. He's very proud of being part of four generations of butchers and owning and operating his fine shop. The market had a wide variety of meats on display. Everything seemed very high quality. I was pleasantly surprised to see Srodek's pierogi in the refrigerated case since my family loves them. Oh, and if you're looking for great smoked kielbasa, Joyview makes their own kielbasa (fresh and smoked), and it's wonderful. So, back to the Prime Rib, the star of our Christmas Day dinner.
