Very disappointed in my last experience here. I went in for a oil change on my Tiguan and before arrival got a call that it would be $85 not $40- last time I had been there it was $67 which was what I was expecting so when I questioned the $85 I was told that it was billed wrong at my last visit and has never been $67-which is interesting because another review with the same car as me posted 2 weeks ago shared that his was also $67 and my friends and family I had referred to this place 6 months ago also paid $67 for their VWs. Additionally, while I was waiting for my oil change I was told that my battery was bad and needed to be replaced and was quoted $318. I declined that offer and got my battery checked somewhere else today and it was operating at 100% and is no where near needing to be changed- not to mention if it did need to be changed the MOST expensive option at this place was around $250. As a younger woman I always worry about being taken advantage of like this when it comes to car services, and this experience was very disheartening. I will not be returning and neither will my family members and friends that I have recommended here. read more

I just moved from Nashville to Wilmington just over a month ago. And since I've been here, I've had some serious repairs that needed to be made on my 2003 Monte Carlo! Lane (the receptionist) and Blake (the main mechanic) have gone above and beyond to help me understand the repairs that needed to be made and helped it be as cost efficient as possible. For someone who knows NOTHING about cars, that has helped a lot. BUT I think they thing that stood out the most was I dropped off my car as soon as they opened on Monday morning with plans to pick it up before closing. It was a quick job and they guaranteed to get it done ASAP because I had just gotten it out of the shop just days prior (no fault of theirs, just bad luck lol). I had taken an Uber out to the beach to pass the time. And after a gas shortage, Uber and Lift and all of the taxi services had basically shut down. I wasn't going to be able to get back to Labriola's before closing and I wasn't sure how myself and my friend were going to get ourselves and our beach stuff back home. LANE AND BLAKE freaking drove 20 minutes to the beach in one of their own vehicles AFTER CLOSING just to get me, bring me back to the shop to pay and get my car. The selflessness and hospitality I was shown means more than I can express. The sweetest people who went above and beyond to take care of their customers. I initially called the owner to see if he could work on my model of car since it was an exotic import. He stated he could handle this particular car as he was referred to me from a local dealer I know. I emailed him on a Monday asking if it would be okay to drop the car off (with specific repairs requested) and additionally that he could have it as long as he needed it. It is now Friday and I have yet to hear neither positive or negative comments from the owner. What most small uneducated business owners do not realize is you have to grow or go as that is the secret to success. They have a really great digital system that shows a picture of your vehicle and the functionality of all its components. Horrible customer service. Brent was very rude on the phone after telling him that there was still a problem with what he worked on and after I paid him. Drove 2 minute down the rode and had radiator fluid leaking everywhere and he claimed it was my fault. Then when he looked at it the next day and he claimed in was fine. I got it towed out of there to the dealership and they told me it was leaking out the radiator cap that he just put on. He claimed it was test drove. Overall horrible service. His attitude alone was enough to make me not want to recommended him to anyone. Never going back. read more
