Hands down the most miserable experience with a lab. Checked in at 8:15 am using a kiosk that advised me my appointment time would be 9:45 am. At 10:00 am I walked up to the desk to ask how much longer I should expect to wait, and was told my time was 10:30 am. At 10:15 am, the lights flickered for a second, and it completely shut down their computer system, requiring a reboot and further delaying their ability to check in patients. The waiting room was full the entire time, standing room only at times. This was for a pre-employment drug panel...urine in a cup. This is the third time in a year I've had to do this, and I have set these up for literally hundreds of candidates. Not since the height of COVID have I heard a candidate having a wait time longer than 30-40 minutes at other facilities. Literally ANY other testing facility is faster and more efficient than LabCorp. read more

I went to the LabCorp in Wesley Chapel at exactly 1230. They close at 2:30. I came from Brooksville because I had another appointment down in Tampa so I figured my blood work here and they told me they cannot take me because apparently it's too full. It would've been nice if they put some type of alert in the system before I got out of my way to drive there , but the front desk is also very rude as well especially the Indian girl I wish I got her name. When I went and asked her because apparently it was bc of insurance purpose she said it was bc they were full!! SO, Another girl came talk to me. This place is closest to our house so we have ended up going here a few times out of convenience, but going forward we will just drive further. I've been a physician for almost 25 years and know what healthcare delivery should look like. This is not it. The customer service is so bad. They appear understaffed so the people who are there are just unfriendly and unhelpful. Their processes are inefficient. You have to check in using their computer system. Once I completed scanning my ID and Medical card, computer stated it could not get all of my info from taking pictures of my ID??? After waiting over 30 minutes, and 2 people going in before I did, I walked to front desk to ask receptionist, why? She stated I had not answered all the questions; and therefore, NOT checked in??? If their computers cannot work properly, they need to have staff check people in to avoid these mishaps. I walked out and will never return. Staff was not apologetic and not accommodating for mistakes. Staff is rude and does not care to do the right thing after their system failed to check me in. I've been going to this same location for years. Had an appointment for today at 11 am. Got in for testing at 11:30 so 30 minute wait. Not as bad as if you do not make appointment prior to going. They have a new check in system that you enter your info and scan your photo id with insurance card by yourself. It seems to make it faster for you as well as the staff. Everything seemed to go good. Jalpa, Kristin and Lori are amazing. I despise needles, literally pass out anxiety attack when I need blood drawn. They are the greatest and most caring group of people that I've ever been to. Best of all my fear of needles has gone way down. read more

Overall I had a good experience here. I brought my newborn son in to have a heel stick and I'm not sure what the nurses name was. But, she did a great job with him. Mind you my son does not cry as much as most newborns especially from being pricked and prodded. Overall, my experience was fast and painless. And the lady as well as nurse was very nice . read more

Today I took my four month old in for blood work. No biggy, since my first has the same medical condition. As they get ready to draw from him, the tech takes down her mask to talk to him. I'm extremely upset since my family has been strictly self isolating since March. She put my infant and the rest of my family at risk. The front desk lady that was on duty on 4/6/21 at 3:15pm is so rude and unprofessional. I walked in at 3:15pm and she was refusing to take me although the sign says you close at 3:30. she kept saying "we packed up everything and about to close". And I stated it's 3:15, not 3:30 and your sign says you close at 3:30. She tried to get me to go else or come back tomorrow, and I refused because the sign said you close at 3:30. Someone else walked in behind me and she told them they were closed. I am assuming he did not see the sign like I did. Very unprofessional and bad for business! read more

Awful check-in process and about 20 people in the waiting room. A sign said there was only capacity for 10 people due to Covid. They desperately need a full time person to check people in. Despite the fact that I had an appointment, they could not tell me when they'd be ready for me and just said they were doing their best. I did get called only about 15 minutes after my appointment time. I am giving them four stars because their phlebotomist Jennifer was great. She was friendly and I hardly felt the needle. I had to go for work-related labs but if I had to go back I'd ask when they are least crowded. read more

They have really bad reviews but my experience was nothing like what others mentioned. I did not have an appointment and I knew they opened at 7 so I got there as soon as they opened. There were 7 or so people already ahead of me. I signed in at 7 and was out of there at 745. There were only two staff members but granted they just opened for the day. Both of the ladies were very professional, didn't get an attitude vibe from anyone of them. Had to come here for quite a bit of lab work! Unbeknownst to me, my doctor ordered a urine sample, even though I had just come from a drug and alcohol screen at Quest Diagnostics. The lady who was going to collect my samples was super-duper nice and patient and gave me some tips on what to do so that I'd be able to give them more pee! She waited almost thirty minutes and was happy to collect as soon as I was ready! She also explained the billing and insurance to me thoroughly! She was friendly and gentle! They are slow and none of them can even crack a smile. @730 they called me up to the receptionist and told me that they don't start to do any drug test until 800. So now I have to wait an hour even though they are slow and not that crowded! Unacceptable! No where is it posted that they don't start drug tests until 800. Not even on their website either. People have stuff to do. This place is like going to a morgue. They make it feel like the customers are there because of something bad. As if you are a criminal. Just left here. Was told they don't have appointments after 3pm, but I have an email confirming that I made it for 3:15pm. On top of this, I was told they can't take me today and rebook for another day. When asked what I need to do differently I was told to just book it again. Ok so I take time off work again, schedule an appointment, and hope and pray they can take me? This is beyond unacceptable. What do I make appointments for in the first place if they won't honor them? Why does the online system allow for appointments for times after the allowable time the facility will take you. All but one of the reviews I read was negative, and I was dreading my appointment. The one positive review, written by Amy D., who has issues similar to mine, recommended Brandon. Brandon and Jalpa were at the desk, and I was politely greeted with smiles from both. Brandon went out of his way to be accommodating; the draw was fast and painless. I went with my wife to do lab work. we sighn in fine with no problem. and when call by the front desk we ask her if they took my work insurance(tampa general hospital) she say yes they do. so we got everything done. few weeks later I went in to do mine lab work done and did the same thing. and again ask the front desk and again they say yes they do. few month later I got two bills from them saying we owed almost 2000 dollars for the lab we did. and I call LabCorp and they say they don't take my insurance. LabCorp is lying to costumers cause if they would of tell me from the beginning that they don't take it I would of go to my job. that's not fair how they do people like this. I call them and they say I have to pay or do a payment plan. don't know what to do if anybody has an idea of what to do. this is not fair. read more

Brandon did my labs. I told him I didn't like needles and if I looked I would pass out. He told me not today and he was right. He got it on the first try and was bone in under a minute. We have been there multiple time for labs for our children, they were always friendly. They were able to draw the labs on our 5 month old without any difficulty. Jalpa was very friendly. The wait times are always tolerable even without an appointment. I was even late to drop off a specimen, and they opened the doors and took it on a Friday after hours.
