Had another real good experience there this morning, after 3 in a row it's time to write a review. Without an appointment, you go to the waiting list with a message that it could take quite some time. However, from experience my longest wait so far has been 20 minutes, which honestly is minimal. Once they call you back, the rooms where they draw blood are clean, comfortable, and very efficient. The staff is positive, friendly and so very efficient. Plus everybody so far has been very very professional meaning no pain at all, no marks, no blood, no nothing other than in out and done with a smile. Highly recommend this location. read more

During my visit, I became concerned about the privacy of patient information displayed during the self-service kiosk check-in process. When I arrived, the left kiosk was occupied, so I began using the kiosk on the right. I inserted my driver's license into the card reader to begin the check-in process. However, as I stood there, I became increasingly uncomfortable with how close other patients were seated to the kiosk and how visible the screen was from the waiting area. Before completing the process, I selected the cancel option and stopped the check-in. I then waited for the left kiosk to become available and completed my check-in there instead. My private information was displayed on the kiosk screen in large text during the check-in process. The patients seated in the waiting area, including those visible in the photograph I took, were seated approximately two feet away and had a direct line of sight to the kiosk. From those seats, they could clearly see where identification and insurance cards were inserted into the reader and could view the information displayed on the screen. My concern is not that someone could have intentionally walked over to the kiosk to see my information. Rather, patients seated in the designated waiting area already had a clear and unobstructed view of the kiosk and the information displayed there. Additional seating farther away was available, yet patients were seated immediately adjacent to the kiosk area. There was no privacy barrier separating kiosk users from nearby waiting patients. After my blood draw, I raised this concern with a staff member. I explained that patients in the waiting area could easily see the kiosk screens and that there was very little space between the seating area and the check-in stations. The staff member responded that they did not really monitor the sign-in process because it was done through a machine. When I asked whether privacy protections still applied simply because the information was being entered into a kiosk rather than provided to a staff member at a desk, I was told that there were two sign-in options available. I did not feel that this addressed my concern, as both kiosks appeared to present the same privacy issues when occupied. Anissa should no longer be able to work there. In November she did my bloodwork and said "really all of these". Yes Anissa I am struggling with a medical condition and trying to figure out where. Low and behold, she did not run them all and I found out 48 hours before my apt. I go back today and after a 2 hour wait, oh it is Anissa again! She said yet again "oh all of these" and then refused to draw them because the clinic only put there name, fax and phone number. Spoiler alert- this clinic has sent the same paperwork every time and never had an issue. She clearly did not want to work on Saturday. Quest, you need to make this right. read more

First of all, the person drawing my blood was not very professional, alot of goofing around, laughing etc with another worker while drawing my blood. I would not make a big deal about that normally but after a week and not seeing my results even in an 'in progress' status I called Quest and was told there was something wrong with my collection and they did not run any of my tests. My doctor is very thorough and ordered so many tests, I had about 20 vials collected and they did not run a single test from all of that blood that was drawn and after being stuck 3 times. They created an incident report but I'm sure I will still have to go back and have all of this redone. read more

Appointments and walk ins. The waiting space was clean and only 2 other patients. It is fully electronic check in without a front desk person. If you make an appointment online, they text/email you a confirmation and it's easy to change your appointment time. One improvement needed, is that they did not verify name or date of birth. The phlebotomist should also let the patient look at the label on the sample tube to double verify. It was a quick visit and efficient overall. This Quest location is clean and seems well run. On my first appointment I picked up test collection materials and second appointment I returned with my sample for testing. Anna helped me with second appointment. She's very helpful and when she learned I need to repeat this test in 3 months she saved me time by sending me home with the collection material so only 1 appointment necessary next time to drop off sample. On 10/22/2025, I went to Quest for blood work in the Walmart at 2500 State Rd 54, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543. My advice is not to go to Quest without an appointment. I filled out my information on a computer kiosk. As I had previously used Quest at this location, I was sure the waiting time would be reasonable. Not the hour and a 1/2 wait of a prior visit 3 months earlier. At 9:30 AM on a Tuesday, there was one person in the waiting room; the display read one appointment on it. 40 minutes later, the waiting room was full, and 5 people were on the appointment display. During the 40 minutes, 2 people were called in. The second time the technician popped out to call someone in, I stopped her, asking why I was not on the growing list of appointments on the waiting room display. Rudley, she said, "If you are not on the list, you are a walk-in and we take our appointments first. With a walk-in number of 101 and no camping gear, waiting was not a realistic option. read more

I made my appointment online and check-in was easy -- I was seen fairly quickly, so it felt like things were off to a good start. Unfortunately, my experience with Anisa went downhill from there. She seemed distant and cold from the beginning. I asked to use the restroom before my blood draw, and she told me she needed to "keep things moving," so I'd lose my appointment if I left. I said I'd wait and asked if I could go afterward, but she didn't respond. When verifying my referring doctor, she mentioned a name I didn't recognize. I clarified who my doctor was and showed her my lab order, which confirmed the name she'd mentioned was someone from his office. Instead of acknowledging it, she said she'd already "moved on" from that form. I explained I just wanted to be sure things were correct because paperwork has been mixed up before. Her tone made me feel like I was being a bother, even though I was simply trying to ensure accuracy. Sensing her irritation, I tried to lighten the mood by complimenting her keychain, but she ignored me. At that point, my anxiety was high -- not from the blood draw itself, but from her cold attitude. I asked how much blood was being taken because I felt lightheaded, and though her demeanor softened after that, the damage was already done. Afterward, I noticed my vein had become very swollen and hard, which makes me wonder if her rushed technique played a part. What bothered me most was seeing her casually chatting with another employee right after, despite telling me she was too busy for me to use the restroom. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after seeing other complaints about her on Quest's page, I felt it was important to speak up. I hope Quest provides her with updated training and support on patient care -- a little compassion and attentiveness go a long way. read more

I went in to have blood drawn and admittedly it was my first time. I'm already nervous about needles and blood and told the employee named Asha. She was already making jokes and doing what she could to help keep me calm and less anxious. while blood was being drawn I embarrassingly ended up passing out... Asha was extremely helpful and present throughout the process and stages of my body coming back. the staff is friendly, however go ready to wait, I've been to lots of different locations and is the same issue. if you schedule an appointment , don't bother in arriving early they will take others that arrive after due to your appointment time. so make an appointment they will not call you at your appointment time, arrive earlier they will still make you wait. read more

Ruth has been working at this location for at least two years, and sadly every time she is the one assigned to draw my blood. I would not recommend this location due to this employee who lacks the experience and skill to successfully draw blood. I have been standing outside the front door for 30 minutes. There are only 2 people in the lobby so plenty of room to be 6 Feet apart. No one has acknowledged that I am standing here. It is now 15 minutes past my appointment time. Four people have left - which means some staff member could have taken my temperature and let me in the lobby to at least SIT 30 minutes ago. Imagine standing in the same spot - OUTSIDE the business door for 30 minutes without any acknowledgment. I get taking my temperature first. I do NOT get making a patient stand there - especially when there is plenty of space in the lobby. At least set out some flipping chairs if you are going to have people WAIT outside the lobby!. 5 stars for the service. Quick easy and efficient. BUT 0 STARS FOR THING THE TECHS GO THOUGH. I've been to this location multiple time in the past 2 months and every time a costumer is yelling, frustrated, and literally out of control. Banging on the doors walking into other people cubes while being attended. This happened today too while I was being seen a lady demanded that she was next when she scheduled her appt at the wrong time. I have NO IDEA how my tech didn't lose her mind. She kept her calm while being yelled at. And this is a common thing. Now to corporate love how efficient your online system is but the people that need to be attended do not understand the system. I would literally have to show my 45-year-old dad how to use this because it literally does not make sense unless you are Gen Z. Know your target demographic and make these adjustments. Today is May 16th I went to this quest Diagnostics on bruce be dawn inside walmart and the nurse called Asha she is Indian because she told me where she is from. She tried to draw blood but instead she poked the wrong spot in my left hand and made lots of pain to me. After I screamed of pain she pulled the needle. Then she told me to get someone else draw blood then the other lady was disrespectful and screamed that she is not going to do anything. My hand numbed and told her that and they were suppose to give me paper to report the incident but then they refused to give it to me. She video taped me which make me to take a video as well. It passed two hours and still numbed and in pain. I have a video of the two ladies and I already post on yelp their two pictures the website didn't let me to post the video. read more

I went in to get some tests done for my psychiatrist, and I was not prepared for a urine test when I went in. Needless to say I couldn't complete it, so I come back to the location after drinking water, and they proceed to treat me like I'm avoiding a drug test, telling me to empty my pockets, do not flush the toilet, etc. I have never been under the influence of drugs in my life, but Quest made it seem like I was a drug addict, just because I had trouble completing one test. The only person there who was any help was the person who took my blood tests that day, she was understanding and polite. I felt stereotyped and attacked by everybody else there. read more

‼AVOID THIS LOCATION Had an appointment at 915am for blood work glucose test. I have to come in fasted and drink a glucose tolerance test beverage and wait 1hour. I drink it at 930 and sat there patiently waiting.... 11:30am and I haven't been called back! I approached RN Anesa and she said flat out that she completely forgot to call ME back and now cannot do the test and I would have to reschedule. Complete waste of my time. I used my PTO to get this test done and the Quest staff completely forgets about you. read more

This was my 2nd visit in two days, because Quest did not perform the Ammonia Plasma test correctly on the previous day, Quest's protocol on the Ammonia Plasma test states that blood should be collected from a stasis -free vein (no tourniquet) and no clench fist, test tube should be put on ice immediately. None of those protocol's were followed, I researched this when I got home Quest never caught this mistake, this could of cost me a miss diagnosis, and possibly my life, this is extremely dangerous and unprofessional to have untrained staff or incompetent employees performing vital procedures. read more

Horrible Experience. I've never had any issues with having my blood drawn but I did at Quest in Wesley Chapel. Everything seemed routine at first with the blood draw. Started from one vein and then I was told the flow stopped. So they had to start another vein to finish the blood draw and by that time I almost fainted. Later, when I removed the bandage I was badly bruised across the arm. I went there because I had to, only place covered by insurance; otherwise, I would not. read more

I visited this Quest branch (at 26827 Foggy Creek Rd, Wesley Chapel) on October 31, 2018 without an appointment. They open at 6:30 am and I arrived a few minutes before opening time. There were already 7 people waiting. The check-in was fast (less than a minute per person). The person who assisted me was very proficient, professional and friendly. At 6:45 am I was out of there. The staff is friendly and efficient, the office was clean and seem organized , The technician her name was Ruth and she was fantastic did not have any pain was able to draw the blood efficiently and fast , not a fan of getting my blood work done because of bad experiences in the past but this place made it all possible to have a great experience.. Worst location ever!!!!!!! Rude and condescending staff. Went on a Saturday at 10:40 as a walk in and was refused service because I didn't have an appointment and the computers were down so they were unable to retrieve my order. But the person in front of me was able to have his order pulled via phone because he had an appointment. Was not able to get an appointment due to my doctor ordering the blood work the previous day late in the afternoon. They drew 4 vials for four different common labs. Two of the ordered labs were done and the other two were not. Although, the reflex part of one of the missing labs was drawn. Reflex means you have to result the original lab to see weather or not you need to run the second lab. They just skipped to the second part and didn't get the results of the first part. In place of my other missing lab, I got results for a vanadium level. If you don't know what that is, you are not alone. Even the customer service representative for Quest Diagnostics had no clue what it was. To rectify the situation, I received an insincere apology and an offer to draw my two missing labs again. "Free of charge." What a bargain right? Oh and on top of having to miss work again, to get stabbed with a needle again, to have more blood taken from my body, I have to be the one to contact the doctor to get the labs reordered. Aren't they so helpful? I will not be getting anymore labs drawn at this location. I'm glad I wasn't being tested for a life threatening illness. Do not go here if you are. Tried to make an appointment and the robot asked what kind of tests I was getting in order to make sure the location it sent me could do the tests. I don't know what the tests are. There was no option to speak to a human. When saying "Operator" It stated that there was no option for customer service when making an appointment. I took my 11 year daughter daughter for blood work at this Wesley Chapel location because it was the closest to home. It was a Saturday and we did not have an appointment. The process was very smooth and the staff were pleasant and kid-friendly. Ruth quickly processed us through and Roxanne was awesome at getting my daughter's blood. She only stuck her once!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR INFANT HERE!!! My newborn daughter had high levels of Bilirubin (Jaundice) and needed a follow-up blood screening done. Our DR. sent us to Quest Diagnostic. (Bad Move) They stuck her at least 3 times and tried to put a Rubber Tourniquet on a 3 week old baby! She was screaming and crying the entire time! Finally, the so called "Experts" in taking blood from an infant, gave up and said it was impossible. When we got in the car, I called the NICU at Florida Hospital and spoke to Jody. I told her our situation and she told me to bring in the prescription and she would do it herself. She got the blood needed in 5 minutes and our daughter never even woke up! What a difference! Cannot give it one star because the ONLY positive is customers are able to book an appointment online. However ---- just because you have an appointment does not mean you will be seen expeditiously at this location. The waiting area is very small and upon arrival I see that it is standing room only with no seats available. Ugh! The appointment was scheduled at 8:00 am for fasting labs. As I stand by the front door waiting for a seat to become available (i am hopeful it will be sooner than later) -- I cannot help but hear the receptionist on her cell phone making plans for the weekend. After 5 minutes, I am getting annoyed that the receptionist is still on her cell phone and has not checked in one patient. After 8 minutes, I stepped over to the desk and asked her if she could please finish her "personal" phone call at a later time?? I looked at the sign in sheet and there were still 9 people ahead of me (and that was just to take their orders and insurance information). Ugh! Will never be back to this location -- they are notoriously slow. Will drive a little further to the Zephyrhills location. They are just as slow, but at least they have more seats. read more
