He was apparently dehydrated and so I was chastised about not giving him water to drink. She couldn't find the vein even though his veins were showing on his hand but the phlebotomist said they didn't have any butterflies. Amazing! Luckily, she was good at what she does or I would have raised hell. She got it in one poke. Thank goodness. No one hurts my son. So parents, if your kids' veins are hard to find, call and make sure they have experienced phlebotomists or butterflies. ***second review*** This does not change my terrible experience for my first son as this time around, my youngest had a great experience. The phlebotomist, Darla, was amazing with him. He was anxious from the night before and she did an amazing job calming him down. He did not feel anything because this time, they had the butterflies. She talked to him and was very engaging. She needs to train that other person. This place would be better for it. Changing the stars just because of this experience. They get 4 stars from 2. Made an online appointment for routine bloodwork, checked in on my phone and waited in my car. The phlebotomist (sorry didn't get her name) texted me when she was ready and I was taken quickly. Facility is small but very clean. The phlebotomist was suited up with full PPE and face shield (COVID era), the blood draw was efficient and quick, and I was out in very little time. LabCorp has a patient portal with online test results, so one needn't wait for pokey doctors to disclose results (or not). I love that!

I went online and scheduled an 8AM appointment for 7/9, took about five minutes. I arrived on time, and they took me in at about 8:05/10. Some of the complaints on here are about the time people had to wait. These are probably the same people that microwave Pop-tarts because toasting takes too long. You really need to loosen up your schedule. Once inside the room the process was efficient and painless. Picture the biggest baby you know when it comes to needles, now amplify that and you have me. The individual there found a vein, and a painless minute later she had her five tubes. My last experience took about 3-4 attempts to find a vein, so this was nothing short of amazing. To address some other Yelpers comments, I found the staff to be professional and they had no negative attitude. Was the receptionist (who was juggling more than just the front desk) the friendliest person? Maybe not, but she didn't curse me out and she was effective. I'm not looking to make friends, I just want to get this over with so I can go eat all the food I've been avoiding prior to this test. If you need some blood-work drawn, I recommend this place.
