She sai 18. Please know for blood draws 21 gauge is standard. The higher the gauge the thinner the needle in turn the lower the gauge the more thick and painful the draw.

Luckily, she was good at what she does or I would have raised hell. She got it in one poke. Thank goodness. No one hurts my son. So parents, if your kids' veins are hard to find, call and make sure they have experienced phlebotomists or butterflies. ***second review*** This does not change my terrible experience for my first son as this time around, my youngest had a great experience. The phlebotomist, Darla, was amazing with him. He was anxious from the night before and she did an amazing job calming him down. He did not feel anything because this time, they had the butterflies. The reason why I am giving this five stars is the time it took me to get done. Basically sign in conveniently via one of three digital ipad looking kiosks. Get a mask if you forgot to bring one, get called, get shot, and out you go. I think I was done in 5 minutes, I showed up at 8:40 AM on a Tuesday and was out at 8:45 AM. Parking might be a challenge on some days, but today I got street parking right in front and nothing went wrong. Why wouldn't I give it five stars?
