(Etc) Nurse that saw my 3 year old daughter jammed the rhinestone in further after telling me she could get it out with no problem at all. Doctor on call didn't initially believe there was anything in her ear until I showed him the picture of what it looked like before the "nurse" jammed it so far in it could no longer be seen. Tried to contest the bill for emergency room services since no service was provided and my daughter ended up needing surgery to remove the rhinestone. Hospital management reviewed the case and deemed the night a success and the nurse provided commensurate care to my daughter. Absolute joke of a hospital. Spend an extra 20 minutes in the car and go to Boston.

While I'm not quite needle-phobic, I'm knee-quivering terrified of getting blood drawn due to a number of horrible experiences in the past. Since my veins are much smaller than average and difficult to locate, I've felt n' suffered everything from being jabbed all ice-pic like in the hands to black and blue bruises all over my arms. And sadly this has happened at clinics, doctors, hospitals and even in ambulances. Today I had to bite the bullet and finally get my testing done prior to yet another appointment next week. Tucked neatly away across the street from the Lincoln Mall, the process was amazingly quick and pain free. Reception called me up no longer than 2 minutes after sitting down for quick paper work. A few moments later, the same very friendly woman brought me to a back room, massaged my hand to expose a vein and WHAM, two viles of blood were drawn with zippo pain or bruising. I was so shocked in fact, I didn't even realize the needle was still in as she was doing it. So yeah, if I ever need blood testing done again, I'd prefer it were here!
