I checked in at 9:40 and the instructions said I could wait in car. I did not know they did not have my orders. The front desk woman was helpful getting the orders uploaded. I was seen at 11am. However, when the lab tech asked: "which arm?" I answered: "My hand. I've been here for over an hour and I don't have time for exploration and I don't want a bruise that lasts for five weeks. The hand is the only place people get blood out of me." The lab tech slammed her stuff on the lap top padded board and everything she threw down shook from how hard she slammed down the implements. Then she stated: "I'm a phlebotomist and I draw blood 8 hours a day. I suck at hands. But, if you insist, you will get the hand." She was mad. While she was easily drawing blood through the hand, she asserted: "I'm a human being. I deserve to be treated like a human being and if you treat me like this, I'm going to give it right back to you." At this point, I'm scared. This woman was physically aggressive within the last 60 seconds and now she has me cornered, with a needle in my hand. As soon as the needle was pulled and the small gauze pad applied to my hand, I bolted out of that room. I was scared. My sample was not labeled. I was texted two hours later to come back to the lab. I called the office and that same woman answered the phone and said I checked you in again. Relax. I have the sample here with me. I could not get a word in edgewise, when trying to ask about why I was texted. I was then told she was going to have me banned as a client (as if I would ever return). I'm now fighting to cancel my order and trash the sample that was not labeled before my eyes. I submitted complaints through their online system but that seems to go nowhere. I feel like I was exposed to danger and my sample is not valid because it was not labeled, while I watched. I wasted all my time because not only do I have to fight to cancel this order, it took hours of my time. The test results are very important for my health and are some of the most important type of tests you can get to determine the next steps in life altering treatment. This just delayed my process. I feel like this experience has nothing to do with healthcare. read more

Easy to find, very friendly customer service, quick with little discomfort. Check in here is quick on an iPad, two are available, and the receptionist was thorough in her questions and double checked to make sure I was using my insurance card even though I accidentally missed it at check in. I didn't wait long, and the gentleman who drew my blood was very friendly and good at his job. Both read the orders carefully to make sure I got exactly what I needed, and discussed it with each other to make sure everything was correct. I couldn't have asked for more from this visit, thank you, LabCorp! read more

Ridiculously slow. Only two techs working and a very full waiting room. I've been here over an hour and they've called a total of four people back. Now 17 people in the waiting room, and there were two when I arrived. Receptionist is ok, but she mumbles and almost everyone has to as her to repeat what she says. Worst office experience. Signed in at 12:14 and not checked in still at 2:11pm. Drug test supposedly ends at 2pm. The place is hard to find, a literal paper sign outside of the small office. Oh they phone machines don't mention their operation hours. read more

I would advise anyone to find another lab. This one is in the hospital so it is convenient but I would not make a special trip here. We went on 10/6/2023. My son was fasting for his test. When we arrived we were never told the wait would be long, let alone exceedingly long. In fact I watched as people arrived and no one was ever told the wait would be OVER 2 hours. They hadn't had internet in 3 weeks so people with appointments were treated like walk ins. Lab orders were difficult to find. They had to enter and re-enter all your information multiple times. After more than two hours of waiting I was told that if I was paying out of pocket they couldn't help me. AFTER waiting two hours they tell me this. The entire time customers also had no internet access and couldn't make phone calls. No reading materal. So we all just stared at each other for 2 hours and 25 minutes. I almost would have felt sorry for the 4 employees except none of them bothered to make any announcemnts, put any signage on the door about the backlog and internet issues or do anything at all to help with the problem. I am amazed that a corporation such as LabCorp doesn't have a backup plan for 3 weeks? They dont' have employee training for these situations? This was not a one day problem and they employees just seemed like they didn't care at all. I felt so bad for my fasting son and the elderly people and those who took time off work. There are so many other labs in Salt Lake City so I would just steer clear of this one and of LabCorp in general. They do not respect your time. read more

Was in and out in 8 min without an appointment! Staff was very friendly. The Google reviews were making me worried, but everything went smoothly. Print out your lab requisition. Lab Corp is on the 2nd floor. A staff member mentioned that the busiest days are Monday & Friday. read more

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional. Was not given proper instructions or containers for sample I brought on my first visit. Nobody called about the missing sample. Went again today and was given four small round containers that I have to write my name and date on. Writing on a small round container with a very small label is next to impossible. The containers and labels look like they have seen better days. read more

Be prepared to wait an hour or more in a tiny, packed waiting room even if you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are concerned about Covid, the chairs in the waiting room are only 3 feet apart and some patients don't wear masks. The blood draw itself was well done, otherwise this Labcorp location would only get 1 star. read more

This place is the absolute worst! Listed as being open until 4:30pm when I showed up the person at the desk did a quick up and run behind a locked door, clearly trying not to help me. I did see there was kiosk so I went to check in that way....nope. Not an option. When the lady who's been trying to avoid me turns back up only to say they are too busy for walk-ins, except there is literally just one person in their lobby. I head out to the elevators and see the lady that was waiting leave two minutes later. Literally no one is there for a test but they can't take a walk-in when they are open for another 30 minutes. Just weird. They do not want your business and do not inspire confidence. Save yourself a lot of frustration and head to a LabCrop instead. QuestDiagnostics is a dying animal. read more

the staff is very nice and professional, I have seen them go above and bonded to help someone, appointment go as close to there appointment time as humanly possible. if you don't have an appointment the wait might a little long but they will get you in and out quickly as possible. and they always have a smile and a good morning/afternoon. read more
