I had a friend who had fallen in to be seen. She waited 20 minutes for a shift change. There was another woman at intake and when she finished with her patient, she went on break. Turns out my friend had a broken limb and had to wait without apparently no care or concern for her or the pain. This is not the first issue with the clinic but also the medical office upstairs. The physician Ben Christiansen is excellent, but getting a return call from the staff is impossible. The office manager at the clinic and the physician office should be replaced as well as the administrative staff that left someone waiting 20 minutes for a "shift change." It all comes down from the management of the clinic. read more

Lori from the front desk has made my visits very unpleasant. Not an ounce of empathy in her body. Seems she should retire if you're going to be dealing face to face with patients and can't be kind. I've been to this urgent care several times and it's usually the same treatment from her. The Drs and other staff are wonderful and all the best in the area, and are there to help. So, if you can push through the waiting around Lori and the energy she gives, this urgent care is worth it. The low rating is for her and the experience she provides. read more

Before I say anything about this facility, I need to say that the ratings are outlandish and totally outdated. Why do you keep reviews from 2 to 7 years ago and count it as being a valid review now; it's ludicrous and this last paragraph was for yelp not for Draper Instacare I am not a person who likes to go to InstaCare because so many of them are bad but with Draper I feel confident when I go. I have been there three or four times in the last year for either myself or friends, and I am totally impressed with the staff. I have received, and my friend has received excellent care. The staff is friendly, and so willing to make sure we are taken care of properly. read more

I don't really want to give a review of this place because they have a pretty specific job and I imagine each scenario is so highly subjective that reviews aren't helpful. However, I took a child here and they were helpful, we waited for only a few minutes and they helped her as best as they knew how. It's five stars because health workers are important and I am thankful for their skills. I wish we had health insurance for all humans, every person deserves healthcare. This was actually out of my insurance network, so I am nervous for the bill, but we will see. read more

I needed to find a new doctor in my area and since I moved and this place came up because it was close to my house. I went and saw Dr. Robert who was perfectly nice and answered all of my questions, but when I later tried to get a prescription filled they rejected them because they said that I hadn't brought them up with the doctor. Now, I am not a professional in this business and I don't know how insurance works and how the inns and outs of a doctors office work, but I felt like if I went and saw him and got established with him he should at least be able to fill my Prescriptions that I've clearly been on for several years. And if that isn't how it works, someone in that office should have let me know. So when I called to see if they could fill them for me, they told me that they would talk to him and call me back, but they never did. Now they want me to schedule an appointment to go back in and discuss my meds ( I saw him less than a month ago) but after not hearing from them, I decided that I'm not going back. I felt like they didn't care to help me in anyway, and they seemed inconvenienced by my request. and I think that I could find a better office somewhere else. read more

Not very much bedside manners. The last time I went the doctor didn't really help much and forgot to order my labs and had to wait a hour before getting them ordered even. This time I went I got told in horrible way to go outside and wait for throwing up only. Even though I know it wasn't Covid because I have had a cyst the last month. I haven't been exposed and working from home. I could have at least gotten someone nicely to let me know to go outside instead with such a attitude. Great front staff! The nurses was so kind and helpful but the doctor is another question. He worse super baggy scrubs and his look was disheveled and not professional he wore sandals with socks as well. When examine my nose he didn't wear gloves. The room had patients hair on it and let me assure you it was not mine. It also smelled like rotten potatoes. So all in all fiend,g nurse and front staff, bad doctor, not clean, smells bad. They need to update their hours. It says it opens at 7:00 so I drove there at 7:00a.m. and it has a sign for temporary hours that it opens at 8:00. Just update your hours so you aren't wasting people who are sicks time. read more

I generally never leave negative reviews unless the negativity is well deserved. In this case it is. Online check in till the time i was seen was over 2h 30 min. Between the online checkin and arrival and then the waiting endlessly in the waiting room and patient room - i missed nearly 1/3 of my day due to the people who staff this Instacare. Mind you, three total people in the waiting room. Maybe they perform open heart surgery here? Maybe i expect too much from a place called Instacare? This was not instant care - in fact i think you could fall over and not be taken back to be seen. Not sure who directs these operations but someone had better review the "patient experience" here. This is a beautiful facility and the receptionists were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the doctor that I saw (Dr Coleman) or the service time. First, I was left in the waiting room for 40+ minutes and it was not at all busy--it was late morning on a weekday. I was then left waiting for probably another 30-40 minutes in the private room. When Dr Coleman finally came in, he did not even attempt to be friendly, but I was so sick that I really didn't care if he was friendly. He asked me a few questions, checked my lungs, nose and throat and then wrote me a prescription. He was probably in the room with me 5-7 minutes. Today, I get my bill from Intermountain and find that he billed my visit as a "Level 4 - 25 minute" visit. I assume that he or the clinic gets paid more if the visit is an extended visit, so all visits must get coded that way even if they take 5 minutes. Needless to say, I was not impressed. I would have rated this only 1 star but the receptionists and nurses were all very nice and friendly. read more

Came here after being misdiagnosed at the Alta View Hospital Instacare. What a difference. EVERYBODY in this clinic was very polite and understanding from the moment you walk in. From the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors, everything was as good as you can get. The doctor took her time with me and made sure I understood everything which was going on. Even on my way out everyone was very polite and encouraging. Started getting better a few days later after getting properly taken care of. Also was recommended to a specialist for a follow up visit just to be sure. A+++ service. I definitely know where I'm going from now on and where I'm telling people I know where to go. I paid $75 to hear from the doctor that he couldn't do anything to help me. He gave me a paper that had about thirty orthopedists and he recommended only three of them. I came home with a swollen foot and I continue to have a swollen foot without knowing what is causing my health problem. read more

I would have rated it a five but the doctor I had was not very helpful on the options I can do. What he told me was to buy antibiotics and wait. And when I kept requesting the other option he would kind of talk me into getting the antibiotics. So I did, but unfortunately they prescribed me with amoxicillin. Which I was asked right at the beginning what I was allergic to I said amoxicillin and was asked 2 more times after. they still so happen to give me the exact thing I said I was allergic to, AMOXICILLIN! If my wife did not notice that it said that I would have swelled up and not been able to breath. I just don't understand how you mess that up ???!!!!! read more

Dr.Prestwich from family practice is the best ! Answers all of your questions without being in a rush, is very approachable and assures your concerns are addressed. He is also bilingual and speaks Spanish very well. If anyone needs a primary care doctor he is the way to go ! read more
