DO NOT GO TO THIS LABCORP LOCATION…read more Today, 09/04, I had an 11:30 AM appointment that I scheduled by phone. I arrived early at approximately 11:15 AM, only to find patients waiting outside and complaining that they had already been waiting for HOURS -- some saying close to 3 hours, even with appointments. I waited until a phlebotomist finally came outside and showed her my confirmation information. She looked for my name on a piece of paper, FOUND MY NAME, and then told me that something with my appointment was "incomplete." This is where customer service should come in. If my name is on your list and I am standing there with confirmation of an appointment, HELP ME. Explain what is incomplete. Tell me what needs to be fixed. Try to find a solution. Don't simply dismiss a patient who showed up on time for an appointment. What upset me even more was the attitude and complete lack of willingness to help. Two employees in particular -- one woman wearing glasses with her hair pulled back, and another woman in black scrubs and glasses -- came across as unprofessional, unpleasant, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping resolve the situation. People coming to Labcorp aren't necessarily there because they WANT to be there. Some may be sick, elderly, frightened, in pain, fasting for bloodwork, or dealing with serious medical conditions. A little kindness, patience, professionalism, and compassion go a LONG way. I hope Labcorp corporate management reviews who was working at this location today, 09/04, and takes these complaints seriously. Based on what I witnessed, I clearly wasn't the only frustrated patient. Management needs to take a hard look at how this location is being run and consider putting together a team with better attitudes, better organization, and much better customer service. No patient should leave a medical facility feeling like they were an inconvenience simply for asking for help. I will not return to this Labcorp location, and I would not recommend it to others.

I had explained to the doctor that my back had been injured for over 2 weeks so he prescribed 5mg of Flexeril for 10 days. She had told me that the staff would be much better. She told me that if Upland can't do it, then she will look to see what else we can do, but to give them a try. Not gonna lie. At first, i didn't believe her! But we came in and the ladies were really patient with our son. He was scared at first, but they didn't raise their voices or anything at him. They stayed calm and i didn't even need to use our distraction tools with him. I can only imagine the number of people that come in to get labs. I'm a nurse and i know they see way more patients than i do. But people were quickly serviced during our visit. If they are firm and short, you gotta understand that they probably deal with a bunch of different personalities every day. They have to make their patience last the whole shift and mind you, i have never seen an empty labcorp. They were wonderful with our son. And quick! Amparo, Roxana, Christina, Jackie thank you ladies so very much. We really needed these labs done. Definitely going to this location again.

I've been to Quest Diagnostics multiple times, and I want to start by saying that this facility is…read moreconsistently clean, and most of the phlebotomists I've encountered have been kind, professional, and efficient. That's why this review is so disappointing to write. On April 15th, I had a very negative experience with a phlebotomist named Michelle. From the moment I sat down, she was cold and dismissive--no greeting, no basic courtesy. Her tone throughout the appointment felt rude and unnecessarily aggressive. Instead of communicating calmly, she gave abrupt commands like "scoot up... no, more," without any professionalism or kindness. The actual blood draw was worse. On the first attempt, she missed my vein and tried to redirect the needle twice. During the second redirection, I felt a sharp pain and said "ouch," to which she responded by rolling her eyes before removing the needle. I ended up apologizing--despite being the one in pain--because of how uncomfortable the interaction felt. She never apologized. She then attempted the draw on my other arm, applying the tourniquet far too tightly and choosing the basilic vein. As soon as she accessed the vein, it began to blow. Despite this, she continued the draw and collected four tubes while I started losing sensation in my arm and hand. For context, I am a phlebotomist with 10 years of experience, so I am very familiar with proper technique and patient safety. I regret not advocating for myself in that moment, because the situation was not handled appropriately. Unsurprisingly, I developed a hematoma almost immediately in a very sensitive area. She provided minimal bandaging--it didn't even stay on--and gave no aftercare instructions. I had to manage everything myself at home, including icing and proper care. I have already reported this experience directly to Quest Diagnostics through the appropriate channels. I was told that a supervisor would address the situation and that this employee would be shadowed for retraining. While I appreciate that this is being handled internally, I am sharing this publicly so others are aware and can make informed decisions--personally, I would recommend avoiding this phlebotomist at all costs, if possible. This was one of the worst experiences I've had getting blood drawn, and it stands in stark contrast to the otherwise positive experiences I've had at this location. *I'm including pictures, including the bruising right after the draw and how it looks 24 hours later

While I was saying goodbye to my family, I accidentally left my purse behind. Since the office was already closed, we went to pick it up the next day when they were open. When I got my purse back, I discovered that $100 in cash was missing. I immediately brought this to the company's attention, hoping they would take the situation seriously and investigate what happened. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled. They were less than helpful and refused to review the security footage, even though my purse and belongings had been left at their facility overnight. I understand that I was responsible for accidentally leaving my purse behind, but once it was left in their care, I expected my belongings to be treated with respect and for the company to take a missing $100 seriously. Instead, I felt dismissed and as though my concern was not important. It's not just about the money.. it's about how the situation was handled and the lack of accountability. I expected much better communication and customer service, especially from a company I trusted enough to receive care from. Very disappointing experience, and I hope they reconsider how they handle situations like this in the future.
