I've also not witnessed anyone not getting decent service or being talked down to as if they did not know what they were doing. The lab techs taking blood have been excellent! I don't do the pre-check in because it's never been too busy in the early mornings. The facility/building itself is not the brightest. It appears run down and in need of an upgrade with cosmetics throughout. It is clean, though, as one would hope for a blood and urine lab collection agency. Overall, this LabCorp has been great for me.

The person who took my blood did not introduce herself, the seat provided was very difficult to get into, the phlebotomist did not communicate in any way. I am short and the arm rest was above my heart level making it hard for the blood to flow. Instead of lowering my arm, she kept jamming the testube further in making it very uncomfortable for me. No apology... a robot might have been better. Lastly, and this is a continuing problem at this particular location in Manayunk, there is NO soap in the bathroom where you give urine samples. There are no paper towels and there is no trashcan. This is a major hygiene issue!!!

This day Annette was not there and the lady who did show up LATE was slow, rude, and unprofessional. The waiting room was mobbed and we learned quickly that multiple people were there for the 3rd or 4th time in two weeks because of issues with staff not showing up, computers down, staff not having the proper supplies, being short staff, not opening on time or waiting so long beyond the appt time they had to leave!! As we sat there, the only staff (the rude lady) opened the door 20 minutes late and screeched "if you don't have an appt I won't get to you today" and started to close the door. WHAT? Someone asked her about all day and she said yea all day and shut the door. There was an elderly woman in the lobby very upset who asked her multiple times over an hour for help and she said she was busy and would help her later. She then came out and told a man who had been waiting over 45 along with uis that she didn't have the proper "container" to take his specimen. He announced he had been there twice before with the same outcome and sad he confirm the delivery of the container came in two days prior. Meanwhile there are 15 minute appts intervals but in over an hour this rude woman had only taken in 2 people and send one away (remember she sauntered in LATE with no apologies to the small crowd of people in the hallway freezing). She walked in with her coffee and then unlocked the door from inside a few mins later (heard the lock) and no word to come in, nothing). She was the worst supposed professional I have ever seen and needs to be fired. At least two people waiting over an hour were calling their doctor offices reporting the whole thing. Another man walked in and saw who was working when she opened the door and he announced he was leaving after comgin twice before and the same lady treating him and others poorly. I don't know who this lady was but she was a nightmare! I hope Annette is still there and maybe had the day off or if not I hope she comes back because this lady needs to be gone!!

I had to schedule 2 weeks out, and when I needed to reschedule, there were no available appointments so I had to make it work. This place is clearly busy! I specifically chose this location because it's conveniently located for me, which is important when you're fasting for 12 hours and holding it for the urine sample (a tip I learned from past visits). I tend to use different Labcorp locations depending on where I'm staying at the time. The parking lot is large but chaotic. people drive pretty recklessly through it, which was honestly off-putting. However, once inside, everything ran smoothly. Check-in was quick and easy. Despite several people waiting ahead of me, everyone was seen promptly. I arrived at 12:15 for my 12:30 appointment, was taken back right at 12:30, and was completely done before 1:00. Now, here's where this review goes from 4 stars to worthy of writing: Sina, the phlebotomist who drew my blood, was absolutely exceptional. She was quick, kind, and efficient - honestly the best phlebotomist I've encountered at any Labcorp location. Her professionalism and genuine kindness made the experience so much better. Overall: 4/5 stars for the location due to parking lot chaos and booking difficulties, but 5/5 stars for Sina specifically. I wanted to make sure Labcorp knows what an asset she is to their team.
