His nurse Erica or scheduler, I don't quite know what is her actual title. But she is the utmost rudest and disrespectful employee at that office. Her attempts at humor come off as lame, inappropriate and highly unprofessional . I am fairly new to this town and county and am so disappointed with the lack of professionalism of Dr. Huston's office. They have lost my business and I will be looking for a new primary .

I have been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. I started seeing Dr. Yacoub…read moreafter my neurologist stopped taking my insurance. I feel as though I have to urge everyone that is considering seeing this doctor, if you care about your health at all PLEASE do not go here. During the year or so that I saw this doctor, he never once set me up on my MS maintenance medication, despite multiple requests. He also could be heard from the waiting room several times yelling at and belittling his staff, who for obvious reasons seemed to have a high turnover rate. Also, for every appointment I had, I was in the waiting room for a minimum of 30 minutes each time. There were also several times when they would call either the day before or even the day of my appointment saying they had to reschedule me. The last straw for me was after I left crying one day because of multiple attempts to have him fill out paperwork for me so that I could return to work after I had a seizure at work, and although he told me verbally that I was cleared to go back, it took me TWO MONTHS to have him fill out paperwork for my job to have saying that I could go back, basically I was days away from being let go because my short term disability had almost run out by the time he finally did it, and only after me calling every day for 2 weeks and then showing up in the office explaining my situation and how badly I needed it done (to which the miserable office manager said well I don't know what to tell you, you'll just have to wait). The doctor himself refused to speak with me face to face about it, and once I finally got the paperwork I needed I immediately set up an appointment with a different neurologist. Oh and by the way, regardless of me again calling many days in a row as well as my new doctor's office calling, they never sent my medical records to my new neurologist. Please do not go see this doctor if you're considering it.

From the checkin with Riya who was very engaging and pleasant to the pre-op nurses Kathy, Lorna, and Cherelle. Cherelle was very helpful and knowledgeable! She was very patient with me. She answered all of my questions. The anesthesiologist, Dr Veloso & Jim were great. They asked all of the required questions and made sure everything was ok. The surgery nurses Maggie, Ashley and Gina were great. They crossed their Ts and dotted their Is. The Revovery nurse Natalie was ok. She didn't ensure my daughter was comfortable. She experienced a lot of gas and nausea and she mentioned to Natalie about the patch she had on for nausea that could cause nausea however Natalie didn't think to take that off to ease the nausea. It wasn't until I came into the area and asked her to remove it, that she took it off. My daughter felt better after the removal of the patch. We overheard another recovery nurse tell their patient (who had the same procedure) what to get for bad gas, but Natalie did not make any suggestions.
