This was fully explained upon scheduling and a lengthy conversation was had regarding this with the woman who scheduled it. I was in the office yesterday to pick up his Barium Sulfate...which was given to him because he was having a ct scan WITH dye. I again had a lengthy conversation with the woman who scanned his slip into the computer which clearly noted he was having a ct scan WITH dye. She explained all directions regarding the use of the liquid since he was having a ct scan WITH dye. Also, when I picked up his liquids yesterday I was told the ct scan was not working. Someone arrived while I was there to repair it. They woman at the desk said they would call us later that evening to let us know if all was good and my husband could come for his appointment. They did not call. I had to call them and leave a message wondering what was going on. They called me this morning and confirmed that his appointment was on and the ct scan was working. So I'm assuming they would have to look in the computer at that point and observe he was scheduled for a ct scan WITH dye. When he arrived and checked in, he overhead the workers scrambling and discussing that he couldn't have his procedure done. They were very unprofessionally discussing it as if he wasn't even in the room. They finally, after 20 minutes, advised my husband that the person who scheduled listed it without dye and there was no doctor on site to administer the dye. They said he'd simply have to reschedule or go somewhere else. He asked where else could he go and they said they didn't know, MAYBE a hospital like Chester County. This is infuriating to say the least. My husband had to drink copious amounts of disgusting fluid. He had horrible cramping and diarrhea. He hadn't eaten since the night before. I feel he received terrible treatment and the staff acted very unprofessionally. We most certainly will NOT be rescheduling here, and I will be sure to let anyone know not to go there. I will be posting this review on Yelp and anywhere else I can. The fact is they had multiple conversations with me, confirmed multiple times, scanned his prescription, described how the procedure would work (WITH DYE) and then basically tells him too bad when he shows up. Disgraceful.

It wasn't always but for the past 3 or 4 years (possibly ever since Crozier was bought out?) it is a miracle if I can get someone on the phone after holding for half an hour, after which time they now force you to leave a msg or hang up. This is a problem mostly with the phone option of "other" which would include Suboxone refills, which is an important part of Feinberg's practice. Also any other narcotic refills, calling to say you're running late, insurance issues, etc. I don't ever receive a return phone call letting me know that they are working on it or got my message - I just have to call around to the 3 or 4 pharmacies that are either where I live now or uses to live for an Rx to see if it has been called in and wait a week or two to hear back about an authorization for a test- that they make at their Crozier testing centers (bow over an hour away from me in Blue Bell) unless you know to ask them to ask for a specific imaging or whatever business. The best and worst experiences I had, however, were with the after hours answering service. The first time, it was 8 or at night and I was in Atlantic City. I realized I had forgotten one of my medications (I take 9... it's understandable) and it is one that if i miss by only a few hours I have incredibly scary and uncomfortable side effects from. We called the office and the woman who answered, an after hours answering service worker, went above and beyond for me. She somehow got in touch with Dr. F and I was able to make it with 30 seconds to spare at the pharmacy. That was years ago. A couple months ago, instead of my thyroid medication I take 50mcg of, I was given an Rx of the thyroid medication I take 5mcg of in a 50mcg dose. The generic names are almost identical. I had been taking it for a few days before I realized and was really freaked out about it. They had closed the office at 4 that day (a holiday Friday so Tuesday was the next time the office would be open) so I got the after hours person. I was literally crying, realizing I hadn't been taking my medication for close to a week and had been taking 20x the amount of the other. I have no idea how this happened but I was pleading and begging with her. Could she have been nicer? Yes. Was what happened her fault? No. She said she was not allowed to contact the doctors unless it was life and death and that she would get fires otherwise. Quite a policy change.

He is one of the few doctors that takes his time and get to know you, your medical history and each of your family members too. He actually asks how you're doing and genuinely wants to know and waits for your answer! You are not rushed ever and he is the most thorough doctor we have ever visited. He is incrediblly nice, old school doctor that does things the right way He doesn't cut corners and knows everything about you and your file when you step into his office. Trust me, if you're lucky enough to have Dr Harkins as your primary doctor you already know what I am saying here! 5 star all the way best if the best. They just don't make them like Dr. HARKINS anymore. It's a shame !!!

She said "we don't do IVs that way." Bull***t! See photo. Also, I don't understand why they won't give you a small dose of meds to relax you while you wait for an hour. You have to wait until you're wheeled into the OR. Seems weird for an outpatient surg site.

Kept putting us off in regard to speech for weeks. Nurses were occasionally no show, co call! Speech Therapy never happened... Delay of care!? Yes definately. Would NOT recommend for nursing care, but PT/OT were fine. Administrators give lip service only!
