I had an appoinment on Tuesday, Dec 24 @7:45a. I checked in at 7:20a and went upstairs. No one was there. They were CLOSED!! If Labcorp had no intention of being open on Christmas Eve, why would they show availability and allow me to schedule an appointment?!? No respect for patient's time. read more

I visited this place and while they have lunch at 12:00 they close at 11:30 for lunch. So if you arrive at 11:45 there will be no one at the front desk and you will be forced to come back after their lunch hour. The sign should say 11:30 close. Should have someone at the front desk to tell you of the early closing time. read more

I never understand the purpose of making an appointment just to come in and get told you have to wait. I had an appointment on 11/16 at 1pm I walked in ten minutes early and the lady at the front told me the wait is going to be about 30 minutes because the nurse I needed to see was on a lunch break... I ended up waiting a little over an hour which was ridiculous because i had other appointments that day. However the lady who eventually saw me was really nice and got me out of the office super quick. That was the only good thing about that appointment. read more

On my first visit to LabCorp at Sand Lake, I made an appointment for a routine blood test through their VERY easy to navigate website scheduler. It was a breeze! I saw a time that fit my schedule, showed up early, was seen even earlier! The nurse professional that drew my blood was calming, courteous, and EXCELLENT! This was the most painless blood test I've ever had, and I've had many. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Well organized, too! The office is clean, plenty of seating and runs on time with appointments. My second test, I completely forgot to schedule on line! However, I called the office and the receptionist said I could come in anyway and they would squeeze me in, and she warned that it could be up to a 30 minute wait. Again, friendly, helpful and super nice. Well, I showed up and was in and out in less than 20 minutes!!! Same nice receptionist, same nurse professional, and again PAINLESS! I do not like to judge other reviewers, but I think they are a little harsh on this medical center. No one has treated me less than professionalism and respect at this office. I do not know the circumstances of other reviewers, but my visits are health related and I find the office to be wonderful. I know I will be back, probably in 6 weeks. I know I will probably give this office another glowing review, as well. Appointments are recommended, but if you are in a pinch, I think they will find a way to see you. I thought I would take the time to write a review since I've been sitting here since 9:45 and it's a hour later. I made an appointment but they don't keep up with the appointments they made. People just sit in the waiting room and talk on the phone while other just cough. Right now there's 15 people in the waiting room. It's just a very inefficient locations. Checked in at 7:05am, got done by 7:25am with paperwork done and blood drawn. Front desk was friendly. My lab tech who drew my blood was also friendly. No appointment needed. The place was clean. There is water. There are TVs but I didn't see any magazines. read more

I had been to this LabCorp before,but today it was wall to wall people! No place to sit.One man working the check-in, as I watched so many elderly make their way over to the desk.Many with walkers, a wheelchair,one blind man,all trying to check in,with not enough seating for all.The worker wasn't exactly friendly as an elderly lady pushing her hubby in the wheelchair was trying to figure out the check in process,I heard her tell the worker,"Don't get mad,I have never done this before!" This has been a nightmare. The gentleman who drew my blood accidentally pulled out the needle before taking blood so he had to reinsert the needle in another place leaving me with 2 bruise marks. I asked him to take down info to get the results to my lab. He wrote the fax number down on the back of my order slip. I asked him to write down my medical record number on his form and he said they had the info up front (they didn't). I also asked that the results be emailed to me and the lab tech said they were not permitted to do that. After four days my lab had not received the results from Labcorp and we only could reach an automated phone system and we could not reach a live person to find out what was happening with my test. No luck online either. We decided we had to physically go into a Labcorp to track this down and started searching for one close to us since we are traveling. In the meantime my lab called and said they would try to reach someone at Labcorp since they had another numer to try. They were able to reach someone and locate my test which Labcorp faxed to them and emailed to me. This has been a very disturbing and unpleasant experience and I would like my payment refunded. read more

The worst customer service.I arrived 5 min before 3pm and they refused to admit me since their system was already close and system has different time than my Iphone .I really needed those results but what struck me the most is lack of empathy towards the patient that was sick just so they can go home 5 min earlier.Very disappointing!!! read more

I had an appointment at 1pm. I did the self check in on the computer and was called after 2 mins of sitting down. Giorgio was my phlebotomist and he was amazing. Had me laughing the entire time. And he was very competent with drawing my blood. I didn't hurt at all. Best of all, I'm walking out at 1:10. read more

16 people were in the waiting room with a sign that says 10 only. People were less than 6 feet apart. If people are coughing they should have to be called in when a spot is available not sitting in the waiting room coughing. If you can, try to schedule at different LabCorp location other than the sandlake commons. There was one receptionist rather rude and wasn't at her desk for almost 20 minutes. After she came back, I asked her how long it would take for routine testing and she said there are people before me so 30 mins or so. Mind you, these tests are usually 5 mins tops. I had an appointment at this place. When I went there the receptionist was very condescending and not much helpful. After I signed in she told me to have a seat. I was there around 2:55 pm and they close at 3:30. While I was waiting , I was talking to another person that was also waiting. 5 minutes later this person name George open the door and called my name. I wasn't sure if he was call my name because he mispronounce it. So I looked at him again to see if he was going to call the name again. When he said my name again( mispronounced again) which was no big deal, I said ohh that's me. At this time he raised his voice and said I don't have all day, I don't have all day...let's go. I have been going to this Labcorp since 2010. I have tried other locations but I keep going back to this one. The office is always clean and staff are very pleasant. I have never had to wait that long and never had any problems.On the contrary, they are always very kind and prompt. I am especially grateful to one of the Phlebotomist named George for drawing my son's blood. My son is terrified of needles and requires especial attention and care. George always finds a way to make my son and I feel comfortable. He takes his time with each patient, explains procedures, and makes conversation to make you feel more relaxed. He also has a sense of humor which is so relieving.. I always get my results in a timely manner. I love this area and this location. read more

I had one of the worst experiences possible here. Employee named George literally barked and shouted at me for asking questions about their policy. I was treated like a jail inmate. He insulted me, told me I was giving him an attitude & blatantly talked about me to another employee I'm front of my face saying "I don't want to deal with anything that has to do with her." I have never been handled in a medical setting as poorly as I was at this office with this employee. This is a medical office and patients should always be handled with care. I have had better customer service by teenagers. Save yourself the trauma and go to another office where you can be handled with respect. Don't waste your time here unless you enjoy being handled like a second class citizen. read more

Was able to put all of my information in the website so when I checked in that morning all I had to do was hand over my insurance card and Id to verify. Arrived 20 minutes prior to appointment. Receptionist nowhere in sight but could be heard in background. I signed in on clipboard on counter. No signs or person saying what to do, so I sat. Others came after me and did same. Phone kept ringing loudly, repeatedly and no one answering though you could hear staff in back, chatting. 30 min later, receptionist returns to desk and mentions everyone needs to check in via kiosk. Then why have clipboard and no signs to tell us this? So we do. Then they start calling up people who came long after me. It's now 25 min after my appointment and a total of 45 minutes I've been sitting here. Phone ringing loudly again and not being answered (turn down or off if you're not going to answer). Staff member Giorgio came to counter and complained about all "these people." These people who keep waiting patiently while you guys are unprofessional, all 12 of us and the reason for his job.
