I'm not used to paying anything for lab work in the past so now I have to find a lab store and this new one was in an area that I frequent daily so it's a no brainer. Daphne would be the face of the business who helped me on my first experience getting my own lab work, she was a little green her self and you could tell she was new so I was very patient so we could get through this. She was very helpful and gave me a very reasonable quote for my needs. Even though we were both a little green she made my first experience with getting outside lab work very painless and less frustrating than dealing with the hospital affiliated clinic in my neighborhood that I go to. Daphne called me to let me know that she forgot to give me my paperwork which is no big deal because I have to drive past them to go home. When I went back I meet the owner of the franchise and asked if they and Daphne were new and he said yes so I told him that Daphne did a great job with my first outside lab work experience and that I would be back in the future. Dr Axtell went through a PowerPoint on tons of healthy eating tips and then showed us how to cook 3 or 4 recipes. The woman that collected the sample took two HUGE CHUNKS of hair! I left sobbing! I could blindly feel the huge chunks on the back of my head that she took out and a year and a half later I still get comments on them from hairstylists every single time I go in! I honestly was traumatized by the experience! (Yes, I fully realize the vanity in it and there are much bigger problems to have in life, but I think most anyone would be extremely upset about a careless hack job to their head! You need only consider the time and money so many people spend on their hair, hair products, wigs, hair loss treatments etc You can't place a value on your time, money, body, and results!) About a year later, I needed to have alcohol hair testing done. I still was so traumatized from the first experience that I delayed going in for a long as possible. I finally decided to try their different location instead. I went in and, with tears in my eyes, explained what happened the last time. I showed the woman there(Anna) the chunk that was missing and she was shocked! She admitted that they took MUCH too much hair, actually took a picture of it, and said that they were going to speak to the person that did it and put out a company notice on it. I felt slightly better and felt encouraged that I could try trusting someone else. We completed the service. On May 18th, I received the email results and my stomach dropped and was in knots when it appeared to only show what appeared to be all drugs and no alcohol! I tried to remain calm as I called them hoping that it was a mistake that could be easily fixed or that perhaps I was just reading it wrong. I spoke to Anna again that same day. I am generally a very laidback, people pleasing person who would rather let something just go and inconvenience myself than rock the boat and speak up for myself, but I got even more and more upset as she argued with me over what I asked for! Finally (I feel as an attempt to get rid of me) she said she would speak to the manager/owner. As a long time business owner myself, I fully expected to receive a phone call later that day showing great concern over the mess they made! I gave them over A WEEK to address things! I had an appointment here recently. I showed up and the lab was locked. The sign said they closed…read moreat 2:30; however it was 2:15. The lights were off. It was so surprising. I called and the number wasn't answered. Another man was standing outside the lab, and said he was five minutes late, and they told him they couldn't see him. A woman showed up as a walk-in and she left. There was no sign on the door that indicated they changed their hours, and no indication they'd close early. It was a complete waste of my time. I had scheduled online. I don't know if this lab is short-staffed or if there are other issues. If you have no choice but to schedule here, then my suggestion is to schedule way before their closing time - because they may shut down early. While there, get their phone number for your future reference, since the one posted online isn't answered (or maybe they shut their phones off). As a business, if you advertise you are open until 2:30, then be open until then. If you have a strict late policy, then be clear about what that is before people show up. A late policy isn't wrong: just communicate clearly what that it. If you aren't going to take customers after 2:15 pm, then don't let people schedule at that time.

MRI machines are loud, so the technician offered ear plugs, head phones (with my choice of music) or both. I chose both enjoying some great 70's Eagles tunes to pass the time while the GE 3T MRI performed its magic. There was an issue getting my Doctor's imaging order communicated to MH Imaging, but that was not MH Imaging's fault. Once I got the order corrected and resent from my physician's office, the MRI image scan process went smoothly. I want to personally thank MH Imaging for making this State of the Art MRI technology available and price competitive vs. other Milwaukee area imaging options. I arrived about fifteen minutes late due to confusion with their multiple locations on the same street (Layton ave in Milwaukee)--there's another center just two miles away, which is an understandable mix-up. However, the receptionist showed no empathy or effort to understand the situation. When I tried to explain that I was in severe pain and needed to be scanned urgently and also drove 30 miles, she refused to listen, said 'I'm not gonna speak with you anymore' and 'I think you need to leave now.' She offered only 'I can get you in tomorrow' before turning her back on me. I'm sure I'm not the first patient to mix up the locations, especially since only the main facility shows up online. Not to mention she also condoned a hostile patients threatening behavior towards me. Their follow-up communications are also vague and don't even include appointment times. As a healthcare professional myself, I would never interact with patients this way and will not be sending my patients here. We are taught that, as healthcare professionals, patients come in to the facilities on some of the worst days of their lives and these employees showed no understanding of that. The staff could definitely benefit from training in patient interaction and professionalism. Better location clarity and proper follow-up are also needed of course.
