When I had back pain, she was also able to bring relief through her training as an acupuncturist. When I had digestive issues, she discussed nutrition and possible food sources causing the problem. She does not immediately prescribe pharmaceuticals, but does so when needed after discussing other options. This is a doctor that gets to know her patients and cares about them and sees the whole person. She has so many tools in her tool kit! You will not find a better doctor anywhere. My doctor moved to another location, and I was sent a letter with possible options for a new…read moreprimary care doctor. I made an appointment online to see Dr. Heyden. A few days later the clinic called me to tell me that Dr. Heyden was only seeing two people from my doctor per day and his quota for the day was already filled. Huh? The only option available was another time that did not work for me or go into the next year, which defeats the purpose of having high deductible insurance if you cannot get the annual checkup. When I indicated that they had some IT issues if I was allowed to make an appointment I could not actually have I was told, "Yeah, we've been talking about it." Gee, that's reassuring. Several days later the clinic called again and left a message. I hoped that they were calling to say that an appointment opened up. Alas, no. Instead it was a three minute long voicemail from someone at the front desk complaining to her coworkers about how demanding the nurses are and why don't the nurses schedule the appointments since they already have the patient right there. My guess is she thought the call disconnected, but it did not. Go elsewhere for your medical needs!

This location was easy to find, located right off Port Washington. It was very clean and well-kept, making it welcoming upon arrival. They made it easy to book an appointment online and fill out necessary paperwork ahead of time as well. I waited in the lobby maybe 10 minutes or so past my appointment time, but sounds like they were ironing out some kinks as it was one of the doc's first days in this office. I saw Dr. Hill and boy was she enjoyable. So often, doctors seem in a hurry or that they're flying through patient to fit everyone in, but Dr. Hill really took the time to sit and chat with me. They didn't bother to let me know that when I checked in and were completely unapologetic. In addition, it is impossible to get someone on the phone. They outsource to a call center whose agents refuse to transfer you to the actual clinic. It makes sense why they are the only place with availability right now.
