It was very easy to make an appointment there and only required a 40 dollar deposit which was applied to my end bill. I was very impressed at the knowledge and organization of our Doctor, Nancy Ivonovsek (sp?). She was not only very helpful and had all the right resources but was extremely interactive and friendly. I fear sometimes that bedside manner is becoming a lost art in the medical world but this was not that case in my experience at the travel clinic! One of the drawbacks of the travel clinic is that they don't take any health insurance. However, they were kind enough on the phone to educate me on this and tell me which shots I could get free from my primary care physician for instead of them. Also, their billing system appears a bit out of date, as we paid in full before leaving, however were still sent a bill since it was taking weeks for our payment to actually show up on our account. Still sorting that out a bit but I don't think it'll be an issue. Overall my experience was top notch and I could see easily why the Clinic is a world class facility. One particular note that blew me away was that initially the doctor had forgotten one of hte prescriptions to give us that we asked for but was not necessary for all travelers (Diamox - altitude medecine). It accidentally slipped all of our minds as the appointment went on. Our appointment was on a Friday and I meant to call them the following week to inquire about it but was dreading going through the red tape of telling them that the doctor had already approved it, etc. To my surprise, the following Monday Dr. Ivanosek herself called my cell phone and apologized for forgetting to write that prescription. Since I was out of town they went to the trouble of mailing it to my apartment so I still had the option to go to whatever pharamcy and I wanted and it was ready when I got back. Very impressive!

The therapists (Jason and Ashley) are so professional and extremely well informed about the latest protocols and best practices. They consult with each other continually; and they are great about educating patients on the recovery process. It seemed like Jason and Ashley really "got it" and offered lots of ideas for patients to maintain fitness, maximize recovery, and otherwise do everything possible to safely resume activity. I would recommend this practice to anyone of any age or treatment scenario. I highly recommend this firm for your physical therapy needs.

The best way to describe this is NO CARE because they make you feel like they don't. We have good insurance and everything was covered, but they are much more concerned about insurance than your treatment. The PT we saw didn't seem to have a clue about our daughter's condition or listening to anything we were saying. He said she was fine on her second visit, but every other PT before and after him indicated ongoing need for therapy. We were pressed to make appointments in snow storms and then treated irritably for cancelling in a snow storm with warnings to stay home. The worst of it was the PT tried to get my 13 year old daughter to sign a paper stating she was fine and didn't need therapy by stating how she felt after a couple good days, not accounting for several hard weeks, and the fact that those good days were the exception, not the rule. He also had extreme disregard for me as her parent. I debated leaving this review, but do not want anyone else to experience this.

Dr Pesick-Caine is so nice and works well with our son. She tries to make things fun for him even though it's tough for babies at his age to understand what's going on! The front desk is as friendly as you'd expect - nothing impressive and they usually don't crack a smile but I can't hold that against this office because I've experienced this at every office in NE Ohio. We also saw Dr Robinson once in Dr Pesicks absence and she was very nice as well. Since merging with Cleveland Clinic I haven't noticed any real big differences except they now require more paperwork.

My mother moved into Precious Care in November 2018 after suffering a stroke. Frank, the owner,…read moregenuinely cares about the residents and you will frequently find him playing the piano for them. The staff is attentive and really does try to make this a home environment. The family is always welcome and encouraged to visit at any time. The residents eat their meals together and sit together in the common living room area. My mom had her own room and made friends there. She recently passed away, but we were very grateful that we found Precious Care.
