Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Linthicum Heights, Maryland

I'm not sure why I would ever go to any other LabCorp other than this. First of all, Dana was a great technician. He explained everything to me clearly and didn't mind when I asked questions. He helped me out with the express check in machine and the place was spotless. Just look at the pictures! I came here at 2pm on a Wednesday and there was only one person in front of me. I couldn't believe how fast, quick and easy this all was. I've gone to other locations that were dirty, not nice or professional technicians and a really long wait time. Loved this place! read more

I'm only posting this for practical reasons so people can know a few tips: -This location is open Til 4 PM, you can make appointments but walk ins are welcome. -Plentiful lot parking -Location easy, right off of 295 -Appointments can be made online. I tried calling and no one ever answers their phone -I walked in at 2:35 on a Wednesday with no appointment and the place was empty...the employees seem to be in no rush though so I still waited a good 10-15 min before my testing. *Don't forget your photo ID Hope that helps! read more

I was extremely pleased with my first experience at this LabCorp location this morning. The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The facility is also very clean. I was seen in a timely manner (less than 10 minutes) without an appointment. My Phlebotomist, Dana Davis, was awesome! He was gentle, personable, and patient showing the utmost concern for my comfort. Dana's chair side manner was amazing! I will definitely return to this location if I need lab work done in the future. read more

I have to leave a review because I was shocked at how quick and efficient this place was! From stepping foot inside the door, to walking out, I was only in for 7 minutes total! I also had my 2year old at the same time who had a mini breakdown once we entered the room. Thankfully the technician was very pleasant and quick! Waiting room was also very clean! read more

I visited LabCorp today and was led into the room where my blood was to be drawn within 5 minutes. The whole procedure took less than ten minutes. The technician was pleasant and efficient. Horrible. Went to this location for the first time 12/11/18 for my 15 yr old son's blood draw for two tests. One test not even drawn. The lab guy was very apologetic, owned his mistake and asked to come back. When we did a few days later (after having to get another lab order from provider) on a Saturday at 10:45am knowing they closed at 11:00, the door was locked with already. The female tech opened the door & asked why we were there. When I told her we were there for a redraw, she rolled her eyes and tried to say they were closed, but I stopped her & said I know they closed at 11:00. She said they stop taking blood draws before then, but took my son back for the draw. Nowhere in that office does it say last draw done at a certain time except for drug screenings. This was 12/15/18. The day of my son's follow up appointment on 12/28/18 with the provider that ordered the two tests, I called for the result of the second test. There was no record. Now my son needs to get stuck a third time. We will NEVER go to this location again which is sad because it is literally 2 min from my house. read more

Their kiosk was down and they called people back out of order. I waited an hour! And despite me telling staff that I had been there longer than other people they continued to serve people who came after me. People started walking out because of the wait. No one should wait that long for bloodwork. read more

This was the most unprofessional and disorganized facility that I have ever had the misfortune of trying to work with. My husband has had to use their services a couple times this past month, and the first time they did not submit the claim properly to his insurance so we received an $800 bill for a pretty standard test (Let it be noted that they screened for things that were beyond what the original lab orders were for). Then when we attempted to get a cost estimate today regarding his next lab test we were given the run-around about the pricing. First we were given a number to call for pricing, and when I called them they said they didn't even do the pricing for the MD Labcorps. So I called back and was basically told "oh, I don't know"...finally got to another individual who told me that they couldn't provide the cost because the test was "multifaceted" and could cost more depending on various things, I told them I understood that the price could be more but asked if I could have the base price, because going up from $500 is a lot different than going up from $1000. I was told that he couldn't provide that information and no one was available in the office who could. We immediately cancelled our appointment and called another lab where we were provided a quote immediately, and they were so friendly and helpful! Labcorp called back a few hours later trying to apologize and give us a quote, they basically stated that their starting fee was $280 but could go up, which is funny because the other labs I called quoted us around $150 saying it was a simple test and NONE of the other labs said they would charge for additional panels or testing factors, that it would be all-inclusive to the test. So to wrap up this rant. I won't ever be using their lab services in the future and would rather chew nails than deal with their unprofessional attitudes ever again. read more
