She went above and beyond--finding a stress ball to help calm my nerves. That small, thoughtful gesture truly made a difference during a difficult procedure. Her supervisor, Maria C., was also kind and accommodating. When it was time for the procedure, the surgical team--Noely, Feje, Jaydee, and Joanna--were nothing short of exceptional. AI kept trying yoschedule me for a service i was nit requesting. Days later their system canceled my appointment, rescheduled without talking to me, went back to my insurance company to get approval which created confusion on my insurers part thinking I was getting a second procedure. My procedure was delayed. I had to reschedule appointments with my doctors and specialists because of this and treatment has been delayed. Today, I got a random email saying we got approval from your insurance. You need to schedule an appointment. Call back in fight the AI again and then get with someone who confirms my appointment was still in the system. I asked to be transferred to someone in management to talk about their faulty AI and the auto generating system that was failing clients and get someone who theoretically was supposed to be management. Turns out it was another scheduler, and they had no power to do anything. Another Steinberg fail. After this test I willl not be going back to Steinberg and will be helping my friends and family to go to other providers as well. Why help them? Because so many can't fight their way thru the AI super ststem and just give ip. This is medical need not an impulse buy. The Steinberg of even 5 years ago is gone. The service you get is not worth the hassle and fight thru their subpar systems and poor customer care center. If only there was a zero star option.

I checked in for my 8:10 AM appointment and waited while monitoring the patient queue board, going in and out of my car to ensure I didn't miss my name. At some point my name disappeared from the board even though other 8:10 names were still listed. When I went inside to ask about it, staff would not explain what had happened for approximately 10 minutes. An employee named Eric eventually stated that he had called my name three times and that I would have to check in again and be placed on the standby list. When I calmly asked whether an exception could be made since I had been actively monitoring the board and waiting nearby, he told me to "lower my voice" even though I was not raising it, and then closed the door while I was still trying to understand what to do next. After another wait, he came out and waved me back, which made me believe I would finally be seen. Instead, he informed me that it was now 9:02 AM and implied that because I had mentioned wanting the test done before 9:00 AM, they would not perform the test. When I attempted to clarify that my doctor had only recommended testing before 9 AM, he dismissed me and said he had other patients. This interaction left me extremely upset and in tears. The lack of clear communication and the dismissive manner in which I was treated were unacceptable for a medical facility. I hope management reviews this situation and addresses both the communication process and the level of professionalism shown to patients.

She stuck me in a vein that nobody usually attempts unless they are very good because you can't see it. You have to feel the vein. Only issue with this facility, was it smelt like poop inside. Maybe someone had an accident. I heard someone ask for room deodorizer. Hopefully, it doesn't smell like that all the time. LOL Overall, 10-15 min experience with an appointment from start to finish (with another colleague asking a question)!

When I complained that I had always had my bloodwork done there from that same doctor, they pointed to a sign that said "Only Optumcare patients" but I am an Optumcare patient, and my doctor is an Optumcare subscriber. It was kind of humiliating they way they did it, in front of the whole waiting room of people. I was stunned. It was 7.00 a.m. and I was hungry, fasting, and had driven over 12 miles. They were kind of rude about it, like "hey idiot, can't you read." So I called SW Medical hotline. They said my doctor is not an Optumcare doctor too. But then I had another procedure that same day at SW Medical, in radiology, and they said he was an Optumcare provider and had no problem with me and my order for that procedure.     I arrived at 10:30 a half hour early for my Appt as instructed. I had checked in via my phone the…read moreday before. My four stars are only because at 12:30 I still had not been called. I had changed my clothes in the dressing room and then proceeded to wait. Finally the tech called me into the procedure room. She was VERY thorough in asking me questions to follow up on the answers I gave the day before. One being did I have an extender in my breast. I could not remember since it was so long ago that I had that procedure done. Because if it was in there they would not be able to do the MRI today without an X-ray and I couldn't get that done on a Saturday. Well, the tech went above and beyond searching for this information on my behalf so I wouldn't have to reschedule the MRI! Lo and behold she found it way back In my medical records and I was able to have the MRI today after all. So I would give 5 stars except for the fact I was kept waiting for such a long time. I would go back here in a heart beat because the employees really know their stuff!

The…read moreactual MRI appointment itself went smoothly and the staff during the imaging process were fine. Unfortunately, getting the results afterward has been a very frustrating experience. We were originally told results could take up to 7 days. Today is May 11 and the results still were not available on the portal, so I called the records department for an update. After being on hold for a long time, the representative I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive, acting as if I was bothering her simply for asking about results for a service that costs a significant amount of money. When I asked about the 7-day timeframe we were originally given, she responded by saying "7 days or more." I asked what "or more" realistically meant in terms of days, and she basically said she didn't know -- implying it could be 30, 40, 50, or 60 more days for all she knew. That level of uncertainty and lack of professionalism is unacceptable when patients are waiting on important medical information. What made the experience even worse was being told that maybe I should contact the physician who ordered the MRI so they could try to get the report interpreted sooner. Patients should not have to chase down their doctor to pressure a diagnostic company into doing its job in a timely manner. Very disappointing customer service and communication from the records department. I understand delays can happen, but treating patients like an inconvenience when they are simply asking for results is not okay.
