As someone with Leiden Factor V and Celiac disease, it took FOREVER to get diagnosed. In the interim, I've had a bazillion scans done to figure out what was causing my issues over the years and I've been getting scans done at this Simon Med for years. They're super fast, they're on top of things and I've never had an issue with their machines (other locations have had issues with machines not cooling properly.) Staff is great. One time they called me when I had a stat order for imaging for a potential blood clot a few years ago and told me they could fit me in if I could get there in the next 10 minutes. I arrived as requested fifteen minutes before my appointment and was greeted by the front reception desk, nicely! I was called back seven minutes before the appointment time! Excellent service! My imaging TECH was compassionate, experienced and lovely. She had me out of the scan within a short time and less than ten minutes! My husband had stat ultrasound and X-rays for a 10mm kidney stone stuck in his ureter. They made him wait 1.5 hours past his appointment time with a full bladder, which causes additional pain with the stone for that long. No one followed up with him the entire time. He has to flag someone down to check why the previous ultrasound is taking so long. They told him five more minutes half hour ago. He's suffering and I don't feel it's right for someone with a stone to hold water that long past an appointment time. read more

It was my first time going to get imaging and when I did my appointment, the lady who was helping me was very disingenuous and rude to me (She got my email, my name and my gender wrong on purpose. I don't know why) They called me a day before telling me don't drink any water here in Vegas from 12am until my appointment 3:30pm. I stopped drinking water around 10am and then they tell me when I get there "oh our machine doesn't work, we need you to come back another day, how's Friday?" I thought your machines were broken. They're just liars. I didn't even get a call because they just chose not to help me. I'm very disappointed in this clinic. It was my first time ever there, I'm not going to go back and I'm going to make sure none of my family go to you guys or to any of your locations, there's far better clinics out there than you guys. First of all. I called my Primary to have them call in an appointment for my back. They told me they faxed it over, so I call Simed, and they can't find it. The guys me it could take 48 hours to get to us! What!! 40 freaking years ago it took minutes if not seconds to get where it was going. Now it takes 48 hours, Bull... This went on for a couple days, until I finally got my appointment today the 6th of Feb at 10:10 am. I get there at 10 am, filled out the forms before hand online. Patiently waited for 45 minutes, while everyone else gets called to the back. Even people that just walked in the office! I go talk to the the girl at the desk ( long black hair, black glasses kinda chubby) I tell her I've been waiting 45 minutes already she said sorry they got a little behind. In the mean time more people get called before me! Ok, that's fine, I wait another 15 minutes so now it's an hour. I go back to her and say now its been an hour, she tells me "everybody's been waiting an hour" I say no way, there isn't one person still in that waiting room that was there when I came in! She was very short with me and very rude! At 11:20, an hour and 10 minutes past my appointment time, I get called to the back. Get this the procedure took 5 minutes to complete from the time I stood at the door until I had my coat on and walked out the door! Fine things get behind sometimes, but don't ignore the people that you know were waiting. Either explain things or something don't just keep them hanging not knowing what's going on! read more

I should have known, gut feeling told me to call there appointments area, made this appointment on Jan 22, 2026 was confirmed for my prostate MRI at this location 10am pre planned my time off from work, I called 2 days before only to find out my appointment was cancellled, I got no phone call, no email, no communication, mind you this particular MRI is almost like a colonoscopy, needing to prep the day before fasting ect, there reason was my ihealth insurance didn't approve this service, I received a letter from my health insurance that it was approved with a confirmation number, (who's lying here) so I decided to take my services to another facility, meanwhile I asked that appointment agent to speak to a supervisor or manager on duty, instead I was thrown around them hung up on, really uncalled for, unacceptable and totally awful, this company is unreasonable ! read more

I went to get a CT calcium score done and the staff was very nice and helpful. I believe Beyoncé was working the and she was very polite. I've been trying to get my results and have to keep requesting patient portal support which doesn't get me much help other than an automated email reply. I have been to 4 Simon locations over the past week and this is by far the best one. From the front desk to the rest of the staff - All were excellent, professional and very helpful since I needed a walker. I had a scan plus an MRI and all were on time (even early). I would suggest for their office furniture purchasing agent in Phoenix that they purchase some appropriate comfortable waiting room chairs (like all of their competition has in Las Vegas. Updating my review to warn all of you - the ultrasound tech at this location who attended to me was completely unhinged. My dr order clearly stated I need a Head/Neck/Thyroid scan. The tech told me she was only doing my thyroid and thats what the order said. She was extremely rough throughout the whole procedure too, shoving and pushing my head and neck around like she was angry at someone. When I stepped out I spoke to front desk girl who confirmed my dr's order. When I asked to speak to the ultrasound tech she snapped "what is it" at me in the middle of the waiting lobby. I asked to speak somewhere private because medical matters are private. When she took me back to her room the verbal onslaught started, she started screaming at me that she knows how to do her job and that what I'm asking for is extra and I'm saying its not extra its what was ordered for me. She was a grown OLD woman, heavyset, short brown hair and accent, acting hysterical and threatening and violent. It was a traumatizing experience for me and then when she finally agreed to scan what was needed she only did one pass. When i showed up to my dr for results he told me there was only my thyroid scan. Other staff at my dr's all confirmed theyve heard complaints about the staff here. Ive been in constant communication with the office and they refuse to speak to me, refuse to give me the ultrasound tech's name (there was no name tags) and have done nothing to fix the situation. I have been having a hard time finding imaging otherwise and my health has been endangered due to the incompetence of someone who should be a medical professional. At this point its not just the ultrasound tech but the whole office for failing to respond. These little business responses on Yelp are phony, they don't care at all. read more

This whole practice is a mess. I made an appointment at the SW location for 830AM. At 9:15 I'm told there are no technicians to do the procedure I was scheduled for and would need to go to the NW location at 1030. I check-in to NW location at 10AM just in case I could get called in earlier. At 10:50AM I ask if everything is okay because my appointment was scheduled for 20 minutes ago and the lady said she doesn't see me in the system. I guess the new girl who checked me in wasn't trained well enough and the second gal I spoke to had to make changes. I wasn't seen until 11:10AM. The worst!!! 2:00pm appt..got there 15 minutes early. Unique, the receptionist, nice greeting informs me that are running late..like 45 minutes! Why can't these places make a call and inform the patient? The wait was over an hour and 15 minutes!!!!!..waited another 15 minutes on a hard chair in front of MRI ROOM. When I asked the tech, Joe, why so late and told him how frustrated and unacceptable this was, he proceeded to tell me there were problems with the scans and that "IS ISNT ALL ABOUT ME'. meaning me!!! I prefer this place as they aren't as busy as Steinberg. Unfortunately this location is hit or miss. The last time I was here the tech called in sick and nobody bothered to tell me, another time they scheduled me for another location. Today just thought I'd stop in for a quick X-ray as I have a follow up with my doctor next week. I've been here for 1.5 hours. Pretty sure they forgot about me as other getting X-rays have gone in front of me. I guess Steinberg is busy because they are efficient. So disappointed - need to get to work! read more

This place is horrible. I started out of state monitoring and just needed a simple transvaginal ultrasound per my doctor. 1 procedure 1 billing code Luckily I had space to continue my monitoring at Steinberg next to my home in Henderson for the next few months 2ce a week and the copay was always $ 88.00 Than I receved my bill from Simon imaging for exactly the same ultrasound from the same doctors with the same insurance i have for $3 600!?!?!?!? I knew something was wrong so I called billing that were rude and useless. Than I got my report and sent my doctors referal , medical history and billing that had 3 invented billing codes to regional manager that simply re sent my bill without opening my attachments that CLEARLY showed that the added procedures were never asked for by my doctor so its either an insurance fraud or an honest mistake by the front office . 3 month later I found the right person that fixed the error and my bill was dismissed . By the way the ultrasound that was done the tech missed a 2cm fibroid . I will never go there again . Never ! read more

Beautiful new location. They took over Pueblo Imaging. I was lucky to recently do a tour of their facility and it is all very new and nice. They have CT, multiple MRI machines, X-ray, Ultrasound and Flouroscopy. They have freshly baked cookies up front that they make their everyday. They also have their radiologist(that reads the x-rays) on site and he was very nice. read more

Experience there was so horrendous, I still have a bout with PTSD every once in a while. I was scheduled for an MRI, Was told doctor switched to another procedure, news to me. Staff was horrible, Told to drink something for contrast , I refused. After all this unexpected confusion it was finally established that I came solely for an MRI , tech greeted me with Your LUCKY I can fit you in! I said I had never changed for an MRI , she stated it was "company policy " as I might have metallic threads in my clothes. I made sure I had no metal whatsoever on me. From the minute we opened the door, just bad vibes. I was told I had a $500 copay, had to call insurance to verify this was totally erroneous. I decided to cut my losses and we left. Not sure why, but the image of Nurse Wrachet in One flew over the cuckoo's nest with Jack Nicholson popped into my mind. We all know what happened to him! This tech and myself alone where she has total control.? Sure, my three college degrees didn't cover that, but plain common sense did. read more

The gentleman that actually did my MRI was great. But besides that this place gets an F from me. As I'm checking out with the front desk I let the lady know that I was told by my doctor to get the results on a CD before leaving. That lady said "ok" and just let me stand there for close to a half hour. Not once did she get up to get it, look at her computer to retrieve it. She put zero effort into getting this for me. Now if they were busy, I would totally understand. This place was dead besides myself and 2 other people. So after a half hour I look at her and say "well I guess I'll leave without it" she nodded right at me like she agreed that I should leave. Let's fast forward to a few days later when I'm supposed to goto my doctor for the results. I call the Dr's office to make sure they received them, because in 3 days my insurance is being canceled do to my company being hit hard from COVID. So, the Dr's office says they haven't sent them in yet. Now I have to reschedule this appointment with now only 2 days left of having insurance (I made my insurance situation known to both my Dr and SimonMed) I called again and they said they would send them while I'm on the phone. I wait a few hours, call my Dr's and low and behold, they still didn't send them. So I call back a third time and speak to a totally different person (every time it's someone new who passes the buck) This lady says the same thing "don't know why the last person didn't send it, but she would right then" Time passes and still not sent. Now I had to pay $500 out of pocket for these MRIs that my insurance didn't cover. If they don't get their crap together I just threw that money right out the window, because I'm not going to keep paying for ASR's appointments to have them say the MRI was never sent. Long story short, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Right now people are losing their houses, cars, jobs and have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. These people could care less about any of that. They for sure don't know or care about customer service or following through with anything they say. It's sad that a place that's supposed to help people treats people like such trash. Updated: 5/6/2020 So, After making an appointment with my Dr to review my MRI's. I was told that I had to go and get my MRI's on a disc from these guys for him to read because sometimes "Those guys miss stuff". So I call and asked if I could pick up my disc and an Itemized invoice I need for my insurance to cover the $461 I paid out of pocket. Darse was the lady that answered the phone. She told me I was going to have to pay $25 for my disc and that I had to ask my insurance company for the itemized invoice (the one my insurance company is asking me for). I explained that they need it, She told me to ask them for it?? Makes zero sense. So I drive up to the location Cheyenne and ask the tell the young lady at the desk I need my records on a disc and an itemized invoice (the one Darse was very adamant, and pretty rude about me not being able to get from them. less than 10 minutes later the young lady gave both requested items without issue or asking for any money. Seems like Darse needs to be retrained or flipping burgers. read more

I had to do about 4 hours of MRIs and being a self diagnosed claustrophobic you can imagine the dread however Debbie the MRI technician at SimonMed on Cheyanne & Buffalo was the kindest most comforting MRI Tech I have ever had she made this dreadful experience more then just deal-able she made it very pleasant. Not only was she super kind she help correct an error from my doctors office and did so in a timely manner. My whole experience at SimonMed from staff to office location was very nice.
