There's a stark contrast between Yelp's reviews and Google's... 2.8 vs 4.9? So many people on…read moreGoogle felt compelled to rate 5 stars on their own volition? My experience is similar to most of the Yelp reviews. You pay for this service that is supposed to look at the property you intend to buy and alert you to problems and POTENTIAL problems so you can make informed decisions like; should I test to see if something is actually hazardous?, or should I walk away from this deal?, or can we make the owner fix this issue?, or should we negotiate a lower price? But they have you sign a contract that lets them off the hook for missing things... like asbestos popcorn ceilings. And they might not know much more than you do about potential health hazards, so they need a contract like that to stay in business. Did you know popcorn ceilings often contain asbestos? I didn't until a carpenter refused to work around it until I tested it. I would have tested all of the popcorn ceilings before I bought the place, had I been informed. Greg said the omission doesn't matter because it's impossible to test a ceiling before purchase, because nobody will let you ruin the ceiling by taking samples, but I pointed out that you can drop the light or fan canopies to get inconspicuous samples. He also said he would refund my money, but then he reported it to his insurance instead, and they said it's too late and the contract says they don't have any obligation to disclose such hazards. Well, gotta get back to encapsulating my asbestos ceilings so my grandchildren don't get mesothelioma from visiting... $1,276.05 well spent.

He misidentified cloth wiring as knob and tube and completely missed that ductwork was missing in the spare bedroom - causing no heat or air conditioning. His supervisor came to inspect after we complained, and noticed the missing ductwork immediately. We attempted to get restitution, as we would not have bought a house that needed such a large repair. They said that they would not cover for their employee's gross negligence. Do not hire this company!
