Today I received a nasty letter stating that I didn't reply to a letter they allegedly sent me in February. The letter went on to chastise me for not coming in within the past year, and indicated that if I do not contact them "now" to schedule an appointment, they will be contacting my insurance carrier. They will tell the carrier that I have elected to discontinue my "assignation" with their providers. The letter went on to state that they will only be able to provide me with emergency care until 5/14/26, as "this 30 day period should allow you adequate time to locate and select another physician of your choice. We strongly recommend that you place yourself with another provider as soon as possible." Keep in mind that I received this letter today, May 5, 2026. The letter is dated 4/14/26, and the practice is about a fifteen minute drive from my house. So they put me on notice that they're also putting my insurance carrier on notice that "our doctor/patient relationship will be terminated." Good. Saves me the trouble.

I couldn't get past the front desk screening who claimed that I needed a covid test before anyone would see me. It's been almost 2 weeks. Minute Clinic took me and said due to the time since I got sick, I did not need to covid test. The pandemic is over. Unfortunately, this lack of care is causing us to search elsewhere for medical care needs. The doctors I'm sure are still good. But since I cannot actually get in to see them, they might as well be terrible. If you want to be treated like an adult instead of a child, pick a different medical practice. This place has "SHADY BILLING". Be very careful. So, they asked me the normal questions, DOB, NAME, ADDRESS, basically reassured what they had in their database. Then she went over my blood work, giving me details on the numbers and findings. I soon left afterwards. I get an invoice some weeks later for 45.00. I called my insurance company and asked if my yearly physical was covered, they said yes. As they dug deeper, they said it appears it was for a second visit. I said I didn't see them again only once. They said do you mind if I call them, which they did while I was on hold. They told them we spoke about my Thyroid. So, they charged me a second visit. I went to this appt for my physical and to discuss my blood work which one of the panels was for my thyroid. I called the office numerous times, asking for Melissa, said she was busy and would call me back between patients, never got called back, spoke to Billing they were as useless as a horn on an airplane. Round and round we go. I know it's only 45.00 but you times that by the hundreds of patients they see and that adds up $$$$$..BE CAREFUL WITH THIS PLACE...

From the first appointment three days after my son was born to deal with Jaundice, to vaccines and stomachs bugs -- you name it! The staff we've met with in person, as well as dealt when we've needed to speak with the on-call nurses has been great. Everyone has been friendly and knowledgeable and I've really enjoyed going to this practice for my sons care.

I have been taking my baby to Trappe Pediatrics since she was born and we absolutely Iove it there! Doctor Kauffman is who we usually see and she feels like a friend at this point - every visit is very personable, thorough and informative. As a new parent I had several days and nights where issues came up or I had questions about what's was normal for a newborn. I was able to call up and speak to the nurses and ask them anything. On multiple occasions we did quick zoom calls with Nurse Jen and Doctor Brogan. Both were wonderful and put my new parent fears to rest. I've never encountered any rudeness or mix ups from the staff and I've never had any problems scheduling appointments. To top it off there is usually zero wait time to be seen. Their hours are fantastic too (open until 9 most nights!) I highly recommend them!
