There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to change doctors. In this case, my beloved…read moreprimary care doctor is now semi-retired, appointments are very tough to get, and I don't care for the other doctor in the practice. So, off to the internet i go, searching for a primary care doctor who takes our military heath insurance (as the Rev is retired military). I loved that Dr. Renzi had early early early morning hours - like 6:45, 7 AM - and that I could book online via Zocdoc. His reviews were so good I thought they might be fake. THEY'RE NOT. He is great. Personable, kind, funny, a good listener, wants to help you there instead of sending you to a gazillion specialists. The office building is a restored factory, which I think is super cool, and it's pretty easy to get to. Office was clean and staff was friendly and professional. I actually feel very lucky to be going from one provider I really liked to another I like just as much. Whew.

I trusted my parents with him and would trust my children with him. Dr. Renzi is a brilliant physician who is so giving and real. He is easy to talk to, and he listens. I am so happy that I can go to him again. Teresa Palumbo Jim & Teresa Stinger's Daughter I would rate this business as superior.

I got new insurance through my employer and had to choose a primary care provider. I actually…read morehadn't had one in a few years so I was excited to pick one. I chose Dr. Kristie Nichols bc she was young and a female and I hoped I would be able to connect with her, which is very important to me. The first time I saw her for a really nasty broken finger, I was in extreme pain and really scared as I'd never broken anything in my life. She seemed extremely clueless and bothered by my visit. She threw a bandaid on me and dismissed me pretty quickly. (She referred me to Rothman where I found out I had severely smashed my finger, it was shattered and broken in 3 places). I left her office feeling very defeated. I thought I had made such a good decision by choosing her and was so excited to meet her, but left with such a bad impression. She couldn't have been less interested in meeting me as a new patient and certainly did not have time for me at all. I figured she was just having a bad day. Today I had an appointment for a "well visit" bc a nutritionist friend told me to get a full blood work up. I was excited to hopefully meet with Dr. Nichols again so she could change my impression of her. My appointment was at 8:50am. I underestimated rush hour traffic and was running 5 minutes late. I called the office as I was pulling into the parking to let them know I was there and they told me to hold on. The girl came back and said you are 8 minutes late for your appointment so you have to reschedule! I said I had taken a day off from work and was pulling in the parking lot! She put me on hold again and said let me ask again. She came back saying she asked Dr. Nichols again and she leaves at 12 on Fridays so she couldn't see me. (I work at an outpatient medical office so I understand when patients are late, we always will see the patient and always do our best to fit them in. It is good practice) This was strike 2 in my book, since I would probably be waiting in the waiting room for half an hour regardless of what time my appointment was anyway!! I feel this Dr. just doesn't have her patients' best interest at heart. Besides being clueless and dismissive the first time, I feel she doesn't care about her patients. This is obviously not a characteristic I want in my Doctor. I ended up changing my primary care physician today to an office that happily fit me in and saw me with no waiting!! It was nice to find an office that put me first and was happy to have me as their patient. Dr. Nichols lost a patient today, not that she cares.
