I had an appointment today for 7am and I arrived at 6:45am. I used the "wait where your comfortable" option and checked in on my phone. I was told I would receive a text when I was ready to be seen. I got that text at 7:11am and walked right in. I then waited until 7:30am to be called back. I was pretty annoyed but I wasn't going to say anything, I was just happy the wait was over but when I went back the first thing the tech says to me is "we called you 3 times " I replied "not since you sent the text for me to come in, because I walked right in and haven't been called until now" She didn't have much else to say but she had a terrible attitude and I truly wonder if she did everything correct. She never asked to see my insurance card or ID, I even offered it. She declined. She didn't confirm anything but the name of my insurance, even though the paperwork I got says "unable to verify insurance." She never showed me the labels on my draws when she was done, so idk if they were labeled correct. An all around 0/10 experience. To top it off when she was done drawing the blood, she says nothing and walks over and is standing in front of the computer. I'm thinking she is gonna have me check the labels before I go but no. She waits a couple minutes of me sitting there and then says "ok you're good to go." Just had to have me sit and wait some more I guess. In my opinion they must have forgot to send the text message for me to come in and called me prior to sending it. That's the only thing that makes sense. What don't make sense is why I still waited another 19 minutes after I received the text to be called but mistakes happen. I wouldn't have mentioned it but to call me back and not greet me but immediately try to shift blame to me like I wasn't inside waiting when I should have been or listening for my name to be called, It's a wild choice. Wildly unprofessional. I will never go back to this Labcorp and try to utilize Quest in the future. read more

Waited over 2 hours for a drug test. They were barely pulling anyone back and only brought me back when I told them I was going to pee myself if they didn't hurry up. There wasn't even that many people in the waiting room and I had an appointment. read more

This particular location is by appointment only, however walk-ins may be taken if there us available space but there could be a wait. On this particular visit when I took my mom for routine blood work there were 5 patients scheduled for the 9am time slot. Needless to say, we she didn't see a technician until almost 10am. Normally the wait has never been this long and the staff is friendly. From experience, they are busiest on Fridays so of you can make an appointment mid week and early in the day, your wait shouldn't be long. Also be sure to drink plenty of water so your blood draw is easier on you and them. read more

I was forced to come here for a drug test that my new job request from new employees. I prefer Quest 100%. I had a terribal experience here and it is the very reason I prefer Quest. Quest is amazing service and No wait with appt! First of all I hate people who run into an establishment last minute, but as long as you make it in it's only fair to serve them. You don't turn away business. I made it late because I had originally thought my test was at Quest and then their other location doesn't drug test so I rushed here. As a mom it's very hard to go places so this was awful. Also their hours are completely awful. They close at 2:30!!! I have work. It's hard to make it during these illogical hours. I Made it inside with a few minutes to spare and the petite blonde woman barked " We are closed" I tried to reason with her and she was not having it. I've never been treated so poorly and dismissed. I was forced to come back here the next day and I made sure to make an appointment. Even though I came 30 minutes early... I still waited another 30 minutes on top of my appt time. So a hour wait.... for something that takes 4 mins. Thankfully the dark haired, curvy, younger lady who drug tested me this time apologized on the other ladies behalf after explaining things and made the experience a little better (hence one star). However it's not enough to make me ever wanna use Labcorp again. Especially this location. The service and wait is horrendous. read more

This was the third time I went to this place and I was very pleased when Gladys took care of me, but this time I had a very bad experience because the woman who attended me left a noticeable bump in my arm. Also, because I was the last patient she made me wait a long time in order to open the door which was already locked (she was cleaning her tools). I've never been to a Labcorp until today when I needed some very urgent labs and was ordered to go to Labcorp by my endocrinologist for whatever reason. I have read some unflattering reviews and went in with low expectations. How WRONG I was!! While a can't talk about other locations, this location, Labcorp 820 N John Young Pkwy Kissimmee, FL 34741was THE best lab I have ever been to and I don't say this lightly. I was a walk-in and was prepared to wait a long time but to my surprise I was done within 30 minutes from the moment I walked in to the time I was walking towards my car. The first person I had contact with was the receptionist Mia who was very professional and friendly taking me through then registration process (after checking in at the computer kiosk) in a quick efficient manner while still being pleasant. After her, I was called in by the phlebotomist Gladys who was just as pleasant as Mia. I have bad veins difficult to find and stick on the first try so I was ready to be treated like a pin cushion. Like a true veteran, Gladys says to me in the gentlest voice not to worry, I'm gonna be okay. Even the way she got her needle and vials and such was gentle barely making a sound. She then got to work. Located a great vein in seconds and got it the first attempt! I barely even felt it! The event was over in under a minute and she collected all she needed. Needless to say I will continue to get my blood work here. Thank you Mia and Gladys for your professionalism and skill. Every medical facility needs a Gladys and a Mia ! read more

The people was really mean to me. When I went in to the room one of he ladies told me to sit down and treated me with a rally mean attitude after that she didn't even ask for permission or anything and she moved my arm out of the way. She took my blood and was really harsh on me that she made me cry I left the place and when i checked my arm i had a bump. HATE this place! Came here twice. Once was in the morning (around 830 am) service was awful i literally waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to only get a yearly check up sent by my doctor. THEN I decided to give them another chance for my employee drug screening before I start my new job. My appointment was at 2:30 pm I arrived 15 minutes early and STILL got seen literally 50 min later than the appointment time. Just for there to be an 'error' on the test. I had to re do my test and I went to quest and let me tell you. They were awesome I definitely recommend them. They keep a low wait time and i went in 15 before and got seen right away, such a different story from LabCorp. Bottom line is GO TO QUEST FORGET ABOUT LABCORP!! The staff is extremely ignorant, proceed to yell at older people for their lack of movement or hearing, then cuss under their breaths and yell at them like they're back in kindergarten. I was there for my girlfriends bloodwork, but I was extremely attentive to how the staff was behaving. 9/21/17 i got lab tests done & paid in full with credit card $416, no insurance (itemized receipt avail upon request). Then i received a bill for an additional $193 (invoice 57771125). Billing couldn't explain why so i dismissed the bill. Then i received a collection notice for $193. I went to the testing center & explain the ordeal to the mngr & billing #1800-845-6167 was give to me and was told to give the original receipt # and all should be corrected. i called the #, the rep did not want to accept my receipt, so i demanded and explanation of the reason for the addt'l bill. Rep told me their customer service dept told them my Endocrinologist ordered test revision and gave me #800-877-5227 to get in touch with the LabCorp customer line to sort things out. before i did, i called my Endo's office and they denied such claim. Then i Conferenced the call between my Endo's office mngr and LabCorp rep and they again denied the claim. Then, the LabCorp Rep, Darline changed her story and said the revised test was auto generated by the computer without any authorization from my doctor and myself which automatically accrued the addidtional charge.
