However, after today I am impressed! Making an appointment is very easy to do online. It doesn't take long and the step by step process is seamless. On top of that, the check in process is even easier! You simply can check in from your phone or check in using the touch screen service bar once you get inside. I probably sat in the waiting room for a total of three minutes before I was called back to do my blood work. On top of that, the place is very clean. The employees seem very friendly and straightforward on their job. I wasn't even in the facility for more then twenty minutes. The in and out was a breeze!

This was by far; a much better lab! I was able to get all my questions answered and have my test done promptly. I needed to obtain a hair follicle test, quest diagnostic was making it pretty impossible, no one at all there to help...just very dismissive..."we need the Qpassport" & "we can't do the test without a code" When I got to any lab test now, the tech was able to clearly and honestly answer my questions, give me pricing and explained how the test would be done and the turnaround for results. I have never had a hair follicle test done before today. I was worried I would end up with a weird bald spot on my head, I was very lucky to have had this done at any lab test now because the woman explained how she takes lil strands from different places- rather then one chunk of hair from one spot! I seriously appreciate the help and consideration! I'm so glad I was referred to this lab! I hope everyone having issues with quest or any of the "too busy" kinda places out there, don't go back! I made an appointment on a Tuesday and got an appointment for the following Monday. However, I became more stressed and disappointed when I found out that the doctor I would be seeing would be going on maternity leave. In addition, the whole practice would be permanently shutting down, basically leaving me at square one again. On top of that, my primary concern, which had to do with getting another doctor to prescribe my medication, was challenging to handle through this practice. So even if it wasn't closing down, it seems like it'd be an ongoing issue trying to get my medication refilled. Ugh! On the plus side, the staff inside was very friendly and nice. I was treated well and got in very quickly. Unfortunately, I will have to hunt down another doctor who is covered by my insurance.

After trying to get an appointment at both LabCorp and Quest diagnostics and having none available for almost two weeks and then going to both locations to be told that they had over two hour wait for walk-ins, I finally searched to see if there was something else close by. I called Labworks and was told that they currently had no wait. I got there and got checked in within a few minutes and I was out of the building in less than 10 minutes. In addition, both the receptionist and the phlebotomist were very courteous and the waiting area was nice. The phlebotomist used a butterfly needle to draw my blood as well as compression tape afterwards to prevent bruising. I'm not an easy blood draw and I appreciate the extra care that was taken. Now that I know that this is an option, I will probably never return to the cramped, unfriendly mass lab locations when I need lab work done again.

Quick service but shoddy facility. I had a lab appointment here. The check in system was fast and…read morethe wait was less than 10 mins after check in. The check in is all digital so you don't see or interact with anyone until they come out and call for you. The room I was sent to was dirty; damage to the wall, overly cluttered, urine sample lid on the floor. There was a sharps container wide open and full mounted to the wall right next to where I was sat. If I had been a child I could have easily stuck my hand in there before anyone could stop me. There was patient paperwork laying around the workstation in plain sight and there were trays full of other people's lab specimens all over. The bathroom I was sent to collect my urine sample was very dirty. There were no paper towels or soap. The tech was good at the blood draw but talked with her back to me the whole time. I don't think she made eye contact with me at all. Never asked if I had been fasting as instructed for my labs but I saw her check "yes" on the computer.
