However, after today I am impressed! Making an appointment is very easy to do online. It doesn't take long and the step by step process is seamless. On top of that, the check in process is even easier! You simply can check in from your phone or check in using the touch screen service bar once you get inside. I probably sat in the waiting room for a total of three minutes before I was called back to do my blood work. On top of that, the place is very clean. The employees seem very friendly and straightforward on their job. I wasn't even in the facility for more then twenty minutes. The in and out was a breeze!

I had an appointment today for 7am and I arrived at 6:45am. I used the "wait where your…read morecomfortable" option and checked in on my phone. I was told I would receive a text when I was ready to be seen. I got that text at 7:11am and walked right in. I then waited until 7:30am to be called back. I was pretty annoyed but I wasn't going to say anything, I was just happy the wait was over but when I went back the first thing the tech says to me is "we called you 3 times " I replied "not since you sent the text for me to come in, because I walked right in and haven't been called until now" She didn't have much else to say but she had a terrible attitude and I truly wonder if she did everything correct. She never asked to see my insurance card or ID, I even offered it. She declined. She didn't confirm anything but the name of my insurance, even though the paperwork I got says "unable to verify insurance." She never showed me the labels on my draws when she was done, so idk if they were labeled correct. An all around 0/10 experience. To top it off when she was done drawing the blood, she says nothing and walks over and is standing in front of the computer. I'm thinking she is gonna have me check the labels before I go but no. She waits a couple minutes of me sitting there and then says "ok you're good to go." Just had to have me sit and wait some more I guess. In my opinion they must have forgot to send the text message for me to come in and called me prior to sending it. That's the only thing that makes sense. What don't make sense is why I still waited another 19 minutes after I received the text to be called but mistakes happen. I wouldn't have mentioned it but to call me back and not greet me but immediately try to shift blame to me like I wasn't inside waiting when I should have been or listening for my name to be called, It's a wild choice. Wildly unprofessional. I will never go back to this Labcorp and try to utilize Quest in the future.

However, I became more stressed and disappointed when I found out that the doctor I would be seeing would be going on maternity leave. In addition, the whole practice would be permanently shutting down, basically leaving me at square one again. On top of that, my primary concern, which had to do with getting another doctor to prescribe my medication, was challenging to handle through this practice. So even if it wasn't closing down, it seems like it'd be an ongoing issue trying to get my medication refilled. Ugh! On the plus side, the staff inside was very friendly and nice. After trying to get an appointment at both LabCorp and Quest diagnostics and having none available for almost two weeks and then going to both locations to be told that they had over two hour wait for walk-ins, I finally searched to see if there was something else close by. I called Labworks and was told that they currently had no wait. I got there and got checked in within a few minutes and I was out of the building in less than 10 minutes. In addition, both the receptionist and the phlebotomist were very courteous and the waiting area was nice. The phlebotomist used a butterfly needle to draw my blood as well as compression tape afterwards to prevent bruising. I'm not an easy blood draw and I appreciate the extra care that was taken. Now that I know that this is an option, I will probably never return to the cramped, unfriendly mass lab locations when I need lab work done again.

Quick service but shoddy facility. I had a lab appointment here. The check in system was fast and…read morethe wait was less than 10 mins after check in. The check in is all digital so you don't see or interact with anyone until they come out and call for you. The room I was sent to was dirty; damage to the wall, overly cluttered, urine sample lid on the floor. There was a sharps container wide open and full mounted to the wall right next to where I was sat. If I had been a child I could have easily stuck my hand in there before anyone could stop me. There was patient paperwork laying around the workstation in plain sight and there were trays full of other people's lab specimens all over. The bathroom I was sent to collect my urine sample was very dirty. There were no paper towels or soap. The tech was good at the blood draw but talked with her back to me the whole time. I don't think she made eye contact with me at all. Never asked if I had been fasting as instructed for my labs but I saw her check "yes" on the computer.
