Maurice is the only phlebotomist I will go to. He's absolutely the best at drawing blood. I have to get bloodwork many times a year. I used to be terrified of needles, but this gentle giant of a man cured me of that. It never hurts and he is able to find a vein and draw very quickly and easily every time. He's a treasure. I had an excellent experience at Labcorp this morning! My doctor ordered me to get bloodwork done at Labcorp, so I went there for a walk-in appointment. Arriving around 9:20am on a Friday morning, there were a decent number of people there. I quickly checked in at a self-serve kiosk, followed by the front desk calling me over to settle up my remaining out of pocket cost. I waited less than 5 minutes for my name to be called and was taken back to get blood drawn. The person working with me quickly found my veins and was able to draw blood in no time! My veins are hard to see, so often I have to get poked multiple times with the needle. I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes. Great experience! read more

I've been at least 3 times and their office staff is always pleasant and helpful I was seen in a timely manner and their phlebotomists are excellent. I have anxiety around needles and this is the best place I've experienced. i had very little discomfort and they were quick. read more

This is a busy location and I suspect short staffed. I sympathize with those frustrated with the long waits. I have so many other things I need to do too. An online estimate wait click would be a so helpful for all parties. That said- they are short staffed and I want the person sticking me with a needle to be skilled because my momma didn't raise me to be a pin cushion. My interaction with the staff has been pleasant to very pleasant. While nobody like blood draws the phlebotomists have been skilled and sensitive to ensuring comfort. Staff - 5 stars can't fault them for being short staffed. They have been consistently professional and warm. Labcorp not having tools for employees/patients 1 star. There were two people behind the desk chatting for about 10 minutes with each other when I arrived and 3 patients already sitting in the lobby. I checked myself in, sat down for forty minutes, witnessing only two people go back for their lab draws. I finally got called up and thought it would be my turn. Nope! Just looking to see what I had come for and get me to pay a balance. Now I am sitting again. They have no sense of urgency at all. Someone needs to build them some competition. Incompetent phlebotomist. Most painful blood draw while using a butterfly needle. Usually, I feel nearly nothing. My arm was throbbing for hours later. Even worse, Drew Stanley, the phlebotomist told me that he did not draw enough blood. He drew the minimum amount for one run of the test, but not the recommended amount to run the test twice. He said it is standard operating procedure to run the test twice to verify accuracy. I would not let him draw more blood, he wanted to try a blood draw from my other arm that is very difficult to find a vein. Two surgical nurses at Swedish were unable to find a viable vein and gave up when I told them to try my other arm. No way was I going to let him try or insert another needle into the same arm. He said that there would be more bruising. It is common sense to check if enough blood was drawn PRIOR to removing the needle from the arm. I suggest not walking but running from this lab, located inside the Cascade Integrative Clinic, but staffed by LabCorp personnel. read more

They make you wait for hours when your labs are already in the system but they say they don't see them... Love how they make excuses and put the blame on you, it's never their fault! I went in for a routine blood work, and they missed the first test on the first page. Because of that, the doctor's office called me and rescheduled my appointment. You'd have to be blind or shockingly inept to overlook the test ordered on the first page. Since the person working the front desk wasn't blind, we know what kind of people work there. read more

Like everything else in Issaquah this place is located on Gilman. :) It is on the first floor of Issaquah Medical Center. They are open Monday thru Friday, are closed from noon to 1pm for lunch, stop doing drug tests at 3:30 and close at 4pm. All of this is posted on their company website. I was sent here for a pre-employment drug test today and I hope I never have to go back. PROS: - Plenty of FREE parking - Easy to find - Separate entrance from hospital so no need to wonder around. - Fast service CONS: - They NEVER answer the phone. I had a question and tried to call this location several times. No matter what time of day it was the phone rang 3-5 times and went to a recorded message. Which when you only have ONE person working there I can understand. There is such a thing as being Understaffed. - Lack of patient privacy. This maybe a personal quirk with me because of my employment in the healthcare field but the fact they have everyone sign in and check a box indicating why they are there is disturbing to me. At least use the forms like real medical offices do. My personal suggestion is the forms that have lines for the patient to write such private information on and then medical staff immediately peel the line off making it impossible for later clients to see. - Maggie, the one and only person working there today was VERY unpleasant to deal with. Regardless of why a person is there they should be treated with respect and not feel like a piece of crap. This place does everything from drug tests to labs for a person with some horrible disease like cancer. I can only hope she doesn't treat everyone like the way I was treated. LabCorp itself is a huge company and they seem to have as many locations as Starbucks. I checked in when there was only 2 people there. The phlebotomist was under extreme stress and could not handle the work environment considering she was only one there for the whole day. I waited 3 hours to go back and get my labs. The people before me got checked in sooner then I did. Which I didn't think was fair at all. I then went up up and talked her about my labs and then her saying she only had one which I had alot more , then had to wait longer for her to type in all my labs. She then proceeded to talk to me about my labs in front of 4 different people, which is completely confidential and against hippa. She then apologized to me and told me she was under a lot of stress due to staff shortage. The picture that I have posted was supposedly a good vain, which I trusted her, but sadly left a giant hematoma and a huge lump which I was scared hoping I wouldn't need medical attention from the damage. Thankfully I am fine. Lab corp do better. Educate your employees. Pay more for you employees. Patients shouldn't have to suffer due to you lack of intelligence. read more

Anyway it's now 3:00. I get up to look at the sign in sheet. It's a different page than the one I signed. The woman finally goes to the desk and I very politely tell her I've been waiting a long time. She rudely yells a5 me and says she was just about to call me. Then she says "are you (name)." "No." "Well are you (other name)?" "No, I'm Amanda." Silence. "Oh... I think I accidentally skipped you." Now she did apologize several times but I was so pissed. First time experience, I went to drop off specimen in which my doctor had orders for me to complete. Arrived at 9:45. I was told there were no orders. She would not hold my specimen while I checked for the orders. My doctors front desk was luckily 10 steps from my doctors. She was outwardly irritated with me. I returned literally one minute but was told I had to wait for the others who arrived after me to be taken care of. I did not get called until 10:15. After all others were helped. I handed her my orders and the specimen. That was it. Not expecting rainbows and butterflies but I felt I was being treated with open hostility. End result, my specimen was not processed and appears to have vanished. read more

My mom had some lab testing done here and paid out of pocket. Later we gave them insurance info (L&I) for the visit so they mailed my mom a refund check but my mom never got the check. Then they billed my mom for the visit AGAIN because L&I didn't cover it. I have called FIVE times and each time the rep I spoke with confirmed that my mom did not get the original refund check so the check was canceled and therefore the bill is paid and a refund was never processed. They keep saying they will fix the bill on their end so that the balance is correctly set to 0. Well after getting the bill four times and calling and wasting my time to fix it four times, today we got a letter from a collection agency about the bill! You have to be kidding me. So here I go calling them again for the FIFTH TIME about the same billing error...what a time waste. This place is idiotic. read more

After thoroughly reading the website and seeing that you did not need a doctor order for blood tests or to pay in advance specifically stated in the Q&A, I decided to stop by here. It was impossible for me to make an appointment because I wasn't sure if I would be able to finish work and arrive on time. I didn't want to waste anyone's time by scheduling an appointment and being late. I arrive and this lady asks what I "want". I said I wanted to do a blood count. She loudly declares "not without a doctors order you're not!" I explain that the website says you don't need one and in a very condescending voice she goes "you need to pay in advance online like everyone else or get a doctors order." She was aggressive. I explain again that the website contradicts her but she interrupts me. Then I finally leave and I hear her giggling with her coworker as I go out the door. Called my doctor about it and he told me they were lying and that I shouldn't need one. He offered to call one in for me but I passed. Don't give this place your money. Didn't know they are closed then b/c the website said they are open until 1:pm and it gave me times to choose they had available..... not sure why the website let me make an appt on a day they are closed, wasted gas and time to get there ( I don't live nearby and that was the closest to me)The hours M-F 7:30am-4pm are a joke!! HORRIBLE!!! I made an appointment for Monday morning at 8:30 and when I arrived at 8:15 the lab was closed (gates were closed, lights off). It said online it opens at 7:30 but I just chalked it up to an incorrect opening time on Google. There was another gentleman in the waiting room and another gentleman came in shortly after, we all waited patiently and about 20 minutes later the woman that was working in the office adjacent said she called corporate and that they don't know why no one showed up but that they were trying to get someone there. I continued to wait to see if a phlebotomist would show. Come 9:00 the lady in the adjacent office came over again and told us someone is coming from Burien and won't be there until after 10. I didn't want to wait that long so I drove to the Bellevue Labcorp, luckily they had my order in the system. They were very apologetic and I was in and out in 10 minutes. This is absolutely an unacceptable way to run a business. I left my kids with a sitter and made an appointment so I could get in and out, not to mention I had been fasting for 12+ hours. I won't ever be going back to this location and I will suggest to my doctor that she should be wary sending people there anymore. read more

The first time I waited 40 minutes and as I write this review I am approaching 35 minutes with two people ahead of me. None of us have been served in this period of time. If I could rate them a negative score, I would. I was there this morning and experienced THE WORST customer service. While I understand this might not be the most exciting job, that is no excuse to treat people the way I was treated this morning. "Sign in and walk away" we're direct words I received from the woman working this morning... ooook, sure no problem. The thing is, what my family is going through right now, is something life altering. There was ZERO reason for her to be as rude as she was. Certainly there are other ways to say or get across what you were trying to say. "Please sign in and have a seat, I'll be right with you" or if you really don't want to have interaction - a sign would have even been better than the words out of her mouth. Very disappointed with my first visit. I had to take a drug test around 11:45 AM even though the lunch break is from 12-1 PM, the lady at the front desk did not take the test. I was nervous about going here after my doctor sent me to either Labcorp or Paclab because of the reviews I saw. I called to see if I needed to schedule an appointment but no one picked up during business hours. I decided to just stop by and see. I didn't need an appointment. Went there for a blood test. Sharon, the only person in the lab, called me in after about a 10-minute wait in the waiting room. Her blood drawing skills were amazing. I would recommend this place because she knows what she's doing. I think she was pretty nice, too! read more

Came in for lab work and was pleasantly greeted by the 2 women there. They were extremely kind and seem to be some of the few businesses taking full precautions in regards to all this covid business. They were actually wiping stuff down when I walked up and were wearing masks. The check in time was super quick and the young lady who drew my blood was super pleasant and made the experience almost enjoyable, it was painless and she definitely knew what she was doing! Absolutely avoid this location. Go to Bellevue or elsewhere. My first visit Here was years ago for an employment screen. I couldn't pee in the cup right away and was treated like I was trying to get away with hiding something. So weird... and unprofessional. They were loudly talking shit behind the very thin door about how they hate this and that. Terrible customer service. Fast forward to literally a week ago when I had to have a lab test for my thyroid. Before even greeting me the front desk lady looked up from her personal cell phone and rudely stated "I'm helping another guy and then I'm going on my fifteen minute break so I can't help you." I asked her if she was serious and she said yes so I left upset (I live in maple valley but this labcorp was On the way home from Bellevue). I drove all the way back to Bellevue to the Bellegrove location and saw the wonderful ladies there. I go to this lab twice a year only because they do the tests my Naturopath needs and it is close to home. Sharon is always moody, and even rude to the other young phlebotomist, who does a great job, is an skilled phlebotomist, and is pleasant. Apparently Labcorp is not reading these reviews. Only go here if you have a thick skin and can remember that this is Sharon's problem. I feel sorry for the young lady who has to deal with her all day! read more
