Vera is the greatest of all time she talked to me while taking my blood so I wouldn't panic SHE IS THE BEST!

The employees are RUDE. Didn't tell me what to avoid after my test. The bathroom was truly disgusting. Never cleaned anything the entire time I was there. No hand sanitizer. No cleaning wipes for the screens. read more

This review is for Vera who is very professional and such an Amazing Phlebotomist. She does her job with a smile on her face and she makes patients like myself feel good. My veins are always hard to find but Vera never has a problem!!! So lucky to have found her! read more

I should've paid more attention to Yelp -- how different could the LabCorps be? I asked myself. Very different, as it turns out. This one was pointless and awful. I made an early-morning appointment. This was superfluous, because by the time I got there, the one lady at the desk was explaining to the large crowd already waiting that she was the only person working that day, and thus we shouldn't expect a whole lot of lab testing to be happening. I left, drove to the other LabCorp outpost on Verdugo, and I was in & out within 20 minutes. http://www.yelp.com/biz/labcorp-glendale-3 Lesson learned. read more

Helen was absolutely amazing! I have had a huge phobia of needles my whole life, and when I checked-in at LabCorp, I expressed that fear. I am so lucky to have gotten my blood test done by Helen! She made the entire experience so much easier. She converted the chair into a bed for me, used a butterfly needle so it wouldn't hurt as much, gave me a heat pad to squeeze, and talked to me the entire process to distract my mind. She was so patient, and I never once felt like she was rushing (she even let me cry for a few minutes before we started - haha!) I can confidently say that I did not faint during or after the blood test because of Helen! Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me. I will definitely recommend Helen for my next BT! She's so warm and comforting! read more

So, i went there to take a glucose test because i was pregnant. 1. The "nasty drink" they give you to drink was expired. Plus we went through two bottles of expired ones before they gave me a good one. 2. It wasn't my first pregnancy, so i've been through my fair share of shots and blood withdrawl. But they suck at it! It was so bad that by my last withdrawl( of 3 total) they had to do on my other arm because the original arm was too sore and irritated. I also developed bruises the day after that stayed for about two weeks tops. 3. I noticed that once he took blood from me, he didn't change gloves when moving on to the next patient. Kind of gross. I'd suggest to please be aware of everything they are giving and doing to you at this location. (Arcadia is WAAAAAAY better) read more

I came here to get some blood work done (which I hate lol) but thankfully the phlebotomist was very professional and experienced. She made it quick and painless. I just wish the office was easier to find. read more

I hate getting blood work done. I guess everyone does, but it always helps to have someone with a good personality and a great sense of humor. Today I had the pleasure of getting my blood drawn by Nisha. She was spot on regardless of my tiny veins. She was very patient with me being the adult scary cat that I am. I'm not sure if you can request people when you get blood drawn, but If so I will try to request her if I ever come back to this location. Thanks Nesha! read more

This is my second time in this clinic and I had Vera helping me! She is very profesional and I didn't even felt when she took my blood exam! I highly recorded her. Thank you Vera!!! read more

Drawing blood is always a nerve-racking experience. LabCorp was busy, but I still only waited 20 minutes. Then I was lucky enough to get Vera, a 15 year blood drawing Vet. I've never had an easier experience. 100% no pain, and took less than 5 minutes. This is the only place I'll get my blood drawn. read more

I would highly recommend Labcorp to get a blood test done. The process was fast and easy, especially during these difficult times. I would especially like to thank and recommend Vera who is the nurse that took my blood. She did such an amazing job! read more

Such quick and professional service. I forget the lady's name but she was able to find my vein immediately and not hurt or poke me too much

Helen is very helpful and considerate. I need to do a stomach lab test which I cannot have water at least 1 hour prior to the test. I was not given the correct instruction before and went to the lab after drinking much water. Helen explained to me all the instructions and ask me to come back two hours later without lining up. I appreciate her help and patience. read more

Just left the office 10:07am May 29 and the front person needs customer service training . I walk in she is chewing her gum and will not look at me or say a word . I wait and nothing. She gets the sign in board and places it down without saying a word. I ask how long is the wait. She says 30-40 minutes while chewing her gum. She needs training. She has short dark hair. Maybe the company could find out who it was by the time date and hair style. Or find the noise of chewing gum loudly. read more

Mharion drew my blood today: A pleasant hello, asked my arm preference, and in 20 seconds flat found the vein, gave me a quick needle prick, drew the blood, and wrapped me up. Painless, friendly, efficient. What more can you ask for? read more

Fast check in and fast wait (we had STAT Dr.'s orders). The waiting room was not crowded (Monday at lunch time). The lady who took blood from my 5yo son's arm was excellent despite his reluctance (screaming and pulling his arm away). She got a helper to hold my son's arm and all went well. She used a small butterfly needle and found a great vein on the first try. No complaints. read more

Helen the nurse there was very caring, knowledgable and informative. I was very happy with her service..thanks Helen read more

This place is packed, and be ready to wait even if you have an appointment. We came in 20 minutes early for our 09:30 appointment, and stood there for almost 45 minutes watching if they even look at the sign in sheet. They finally did, and a couple of minutes later they called in someone who just signed in 10 minutes earlier, that's 30 minutes after we did. So I went to the window and double check the time. The one they called has an appointment for 10:00, and I pointed out to the receptionist why is it so. She didn't say anything, and just asked for our paperwork. read more

I made an appointment online and arrived right at my appointment time. The waiting room was pretty crowded but I only waited about 5 minutes which I was very pleased with. Helen took me back and was very nice. She made conversation, verified my information and was so gentle! I don't mind getting my blood drawn and I was surprised at how I never even felt the needle, she's just so good. read more

Horrible experience! I wanted to have the covid antibody test and called here first. They said you can just come in and wait in line. When you get there, your told you have to purchase the order on-line. The app would not let me in to get past registration to let me pay. I even called the corporate office of Labcorp and they did not understand why this location would not just let me pay in person. I was there for two hours in a medical surrounding, and they were not even requiring masks for patients! I felt so at risk. The girl Marium at the desk took my phone from me with no gloves or precautions and tried to search the site. She's s nurse? Who touches another's phone right now? Not safe at all. Rude and unprofessional. read more

The worst place ever!! I was Waiting about an hour and my name was never called !! I was waiting at the waiting room And They just closed the door and the window I knocked the door and the window and nobody opened It... That just pissed me off and was so Not Professional at all !! read more

Avoid at ALL COSTS. Second day in a row I've come in trying to get bloodwork done and today there are over 20 people jam packed in the waiting area. Front desk does not care and takes their sweet time doing whatever it is they're doing which clearly is not helping patients. The waiting area has overflown into the two side suites. This place is a joke. I will go to La Canada Labcorp where they are quick, efficient and friendly. read more

I'm surprised to read all these bad reviews. I had a great experience here. I did however make an appointment so wait time wasn't an issue. Also I had a great technician by the name of Helen Shahbazvand. Not only was she absolutely flawless at taking blood, her bed side manor was second to none. She was kind and patient and made an effort to keep the experience as painlsess as possible for me. read more

I was going to have lab work done in advance of my yearly physical. To avoid a trip across town to my Dr's office to have my lab work done. I thought having the work done close to my office would save me time and a trip across town to my Dr;'s office. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE! I arrived at LabCorp at 7:50am knowing that they open at 8:00. I was # 6 in line. I had to wait 1 hours and 10 mins before i was called. It seems that they were understaffed and the person working the front desk was also doing the labs. Totally unacceptable! It took all of 5 mins to do my labwork and yet I had to wait and by the way...was late for work. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. First, the office itself is dirty. The carpet is stained, and everything looks really old. When I arrived, it was ten minutes before anyone even spoke to me. Then they acted like I was inconveniencing them. The woman who *tried* to take the blood sample from my daughter was just fishing around in her arm with the needle: caused her a lot of pain and left a huge bruise on the inside of her elbow. Luckily, there was a second tech there who was able to get the sample from her other arm, but the pain and screaming from the first one was completely unnecessary. Horrible experience! read more

Wow. First and last time I will EVER step foot in this Labcorp, I just had the most horrifying experience. On my way to this appointment I used the address provided on Yelp and realized this location had a 1.5 star rating... as a person with an anxiety disorder I immediately began to fill with fear that I was going to have a horrible experience, and of course I did. I walked up to the receptionist, hopeful that things would go okay. She was quick and I realized there was only one other person waiting.. now I know why. There was a older female nurse who I thought would be taking my blood, but as soon as it was my appointment time she took her paper scrubs off and began to clock out. In walks someone I assumed to be another patient because he was wearing what I would equate to pajama like cloths you'd wear when relaxing at home. He walked around the corner and began talking to a technician using some colorful language including several loud f-bombs and saying s*** at least 4 times in a 2 minute conversation. He comes around the corner back towards reception and grabs a set of paper scrubs. I hoped he would just be someone who worked in back and not the person taking my blood since he honestly seemed sort of stoned. He walked to reception and got my paper and called my name. This is when I said I was just going to come back another time because I was having too much anxiety to do the blood draw. At this time I saw his eyes and he was MOST DEFINITELY STONED. I'm a 420 friendly person, so let's just say I can tell when someones been toking up before their shift. It was painfully obvious. I grab my lab order back and immediately leave. The older woman nurse saw the entire conversation and walked out to the elevator at the same time as me. I told her how disturbing it was to hear someone swearing, dressed completely unprofessionally, and possibly under the influence was going to be taking my blood. In her defense, she offered to go back and do it herself, but I told her at this point I wanted to go to another facility. She then recommended another BETTER Labcorp that of course has hilariously higher rating and great reviews. Learned my lesson today.. ALWAYS CHECK YELP FOR EVERYTHING.. and also NEVER GO TO THE LABCORP ON CENTRAL IN GLENDALE. read more

If you are scared of needles, if it's hard to find your veins or you are having any difficulties with taking a blood test, go to this location and ask for VERA. She is funny, kind and will definitely make your day. She tales your blood in such a positive way that you don't even notice it. Nurses usually can't draw blood from me and I usually go home with big bruises but not with VERA. She is simply the BEST. read more

First time came here and I hope it's the last time. I used to work w/ Quest but this year my insurance changed the lab, so I had to come here. Wished I could have checked Yelp first. The medical building is old, parking structure is super old, cash only, no validation. The old lady at the reception desk is working with bad attitude. She created problems to many clients including us. She said "I dont wanna lose my job" but showed the attitude of "I hate my job," too. Very unprofessional! We made appointments, but because she doesn't like us, so she let us wait a lot, and let many other walk-in people (who checked in after us and didn't have problem w/ her, of course) get in before us. Just sat there, waited, and watched her arguing w/ other people for like an hour. It was a beautiful morning, but she ruined the whole day of many people. There was another man with his 2 kids and a baby coming to get his baby's blood test. Idk exactly what was wrong, but the reception lady kept yelling at him, saying that they did't take his insurance and went to the next building for Quest instead. She made him running up and down, back and forth, calling many places trying to know why that bad lady didn't want to let them in. Idk where the hell she came from that she made a super handful daddy in that much trouble. If I had been in his situation, running around with three little kids for hours and hours, I would have cried so much right there. read more

Wow. Just wow. If there were negative stars, this place would get it! They are so rude, it's mind boggling. I watched the front desk guy yell at an elderly woman then make fun of her to his co worker. After that, they were super unhelpful to me, giving me contradictory information and just generally being so rude! I ended up going to Labcorp in Burbank. Seriously this place deserves the bad reviews. It's worse than the DMV! read more

I see I'm not the only one who felt compelled to caution others against this place. The employees here have no idea what they're doing; from the front desk to the phlebotomist who left a huge painful bruise on my arm after I pushed him to please hurry up and take my blood already (I had been waiting a long time). After the blood draw, he said to me "I'm telling you right now, that's gonna bruise. Your vein was giving out". I have not only never had such an issue, but have always heard "you have really great veins" ... a phlebotomist's dream! Terrible, rude, and all the things you don't want nor need in an already sensitive medical setting. read more

I will never take my son here. It looks like the lady didn't know what she was doing, she kept pulling the needle out and was fishing for his vein. I kept my cool because she had a needle on my son's vein and to top it off it was a big needle because unfortunately they were out of the butterfly needles. My son had to get poked twice because she couldn't get more blood. I use to be a phlobotomist, u can draw as many tubes he needed with one arm. I currently work at a peds office. I wouldnt recomend this place for kids. They need more experience. read more

terrible, we waited 3 hours for no reason, they were working terribly slow, don't wast you time here, I never meet this lab again read more

Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Glendale, California

I've had my tests done at two different locations and I found both Labcorp offices were understaffed/overworked. Despite having an appointment, I still had to endure a long wait, and the staff has no time to make sure they insert the needle softly as not to hurt you- both time I ended up with huge bruises where they drew the blood. I'll ask my doc if I can use a different company next time. Definitely wouldn't bring my child here. read more

I've been to this location several times and each time they reach my expectations more and more! The individual that helped me out was Helen S. She was so nice and caring each time! She is very professional. For some reason who ever has drawn blood from me ends up poking me more than one time, but Helen is so precise she only pokes me once and gets it right!! Very sweet lady, ask for her when you get there!!! Thanks again! read more

I came to get my 1 1/2 year old blood drawn and it was not a good experience. I know the law and know they're only allowed to poke 3 times. Well that's why they fish under your skin. I seen her doing it and I seen the needle wasn't correctly in the vain so the blood was escaping creating a bubble bruise and asked her to stop and she got upset with me. After that would anyone want that same person whose giving them attitude poke their kid again? Nope. Not me. Not today mam. The other girls were nice. But my experience with what I went there for was not. read more

I've been to this place before awhile back ago. I'm glad to know that they now have an appointment system available online. It is so convenient for me now because I'm able to schedule an appointment versus having to walk in and wait for hours. You can try to get lucky and find street parking. However there is also a paid parking lot available behind the building with a lot of parking. The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. I forgot her name but she was nice. I think she was Filipino or something. Anyways, shout out to her. The other lady that took my blood was also really nice. I think it's great that they have pictures of puppies on the wall while they're drawing your blood. That's really nice and considerate of them. read more

Soo long waiting. Workers taking their sweet time. Employees are not nice. I prefer go much better to Burbank
