She would literally focus on me being TWO pounds weight difference in a one month span instead of listening to my concerns. Today I told another doctor in the same office that one of the referrals they had given me was a really bad fit for me and I didn't wish to continue with said referral. The doctor immediately jumped to insisting I was the problem instead of the referral who made it very clear she had no clue what she was doing (she told me she never handled clients for my reason of referral and kept leaving to consult another doctor)... It's been my experience that the doctors of this office are assumptive, judgmental, and aren't fully concerned with the wellbeing of their patients...

The nurse that assisted me during recovery was outstanding! I was given a folder of information for reference in addition to them talking and explaining things to me. It was such a wonderful experience and I recommend that anyone needing a colonoscopy should consult with Dr. Cabrera. He and his team are fantastic!

I came out much better, for which I am very grateful. At 71, using a walker, it was quite an experience ! I have a MANAGEMENT DEGREE from PURDUE. Have dealt with BI - POLAR ILLNESS ever since I was disabled in 1992. Some comments. The units was kept spotless clean. The housekeepers coming in and out inter - acted with the patients in a very positive way. Truly a part of carê the team. And, the FOOD ! Just absolutely delicious. Hot. Cold. Appetizing in appearance. Really helped me get better. So much of it, too ! The linens were soft and a bright white. Plentiful. All you had to do was ask. As for medical care, well, all I know is that I came out much, much better. My out patient psychiatrist was pleased. Did I feel safe on the UNIT ? YES. The whole time. My well developed managed eye was quite improved and very impressed. Upon leaving, I was given following doctor appointments and those include a doctor in both pain management and the GERIATRIC CARE DEPARTMENT at UF. On the road and under the weather.....what else could go wrong.....nothing apparently if you stop…read morehere and seek medical care. I could barely drag myself from the truck and into the office. Fortunately, they were proactive and did not have the usual three reams of paperwork to fill out. The checked on my VA health care benefits and I ended up using another insurance as the path of least resistance but they gave me the number to call to get the VA thing squared away. This has got to be the closest to a small-town doctor's office of old that I could imagine. All family run, from the front desk to the nurse to the doc himself. They listened, they gave suggestions to help mitigate the discomfort. The only thing they couldn't do was speed up the recovery.....they can't control time. What they do do is respect your time. In and out in a jiffy but not rushed at all. They prove medical care shouldn't be an all-day affair. I left there feeling sick but knowing I was on the path to recovery. While I don't live there, I do visit, and if I need an MD I know the OneStop I am going to make and it is at One Stop Medical......Thanks. So if you are on the road or around the corner and under the weather this is the place to go.
