GREAT JOB! The man who drew my 11 year olds blood was quick, and got her blood on the first draw! Thank you!

Horrible service. Waited over 2 hours to be seen. Would never recommend this facility to anyone. Find another lab!

A long wait. The nurse was rude, and unpleasant. I walked out without any lab test. I will not return to that location.

Have pink eye, doctor prescribed eyedrops, stating 2 drops every two hours for two days, then 1 drop every 4 hours for 5 days. My bottle is empty after just three days so I called to get another bottle to continue the treatment as doctor ordered. First call, nurse said they couldn't do anything till doctor came back to work(this being Sunday and he returns Tuesday) She said to reduce the drops to 1 every 4 hours until they can talk to the doctor to make the drops last. So today, Tuesday, I called and I had to talk to another nurse. She really mixed up what I said to her, saying my left eye is all clear(my infected eye). I told her that is not correct, it's better, but I need to continue the eyedrops for another 5 days as the doctor ordered. Then she immediately mixed up the number of days saying 5 days total(supposed to be 7 days). She said she would give my doctor the message. I later get a call back from Patient First, a different nurse, stating since my eye has gotten so much worse, the doctor wants me to return to see him!!!!! I Never said my eye was worse, I said it's getting better but I'm out of the eyedrops. I'm just trying to follow the doctors orders, using the drops for 7 days as prescribed. Now I'm told I have to call back tomorrow. I will continue using Patient First as I have always received the best care there in the past, but this time has been a Frustrating experience.

If you walk in, the wait can be excessively long. When you make an appointment, even if it's just an hour before you want to go, you're usually taken back pretty quickly. Length of time to wait for results is typical & they don't release the results to you until your doctor has first seen them, which can cause a long wait for results. The staff are friendly & professional, and the environment is attractive & comfortable. It has recently been renovated & it's much more comfortable than it used to be. Their results are reliable & I haven't had any problems at all. I'd recommend this lab, but would definitely encourage you to make an appointment.

Unfortunately, this was not the first time I have experienced rude behavior from the same front-desk employee at this location. Today, I arrived at approximately 7:45 AM and waited outside the building until the doors opened at 8:00 AM. After entering, I sat in a chair for about 30 minutes with my children. My son was fasting because he needed blood work, and I was also there to drop off a specimen at the lab. I was trying to manage everything while also being concerned about getting to work on time. After waiting, I noticed that people who arrived after me were already being helped and taken inside. I went to the front desk and politely asked one of the employees why my name had not been called yet. There were two women at the front desk, and I spoke directly with one of them. I explained my situation calmly and respectfully. I told her that my son was fasting, that I needed to drop off his specimen, and that I was already running late for work. I told her that if necessary, I had no problem coming back another day to have my son's blood work done. I was simply asking for information and trying to figure out the best way to handle the situation. Instead of responding with basic courtesy, the employee spoke to me in what I felt was a very rude, dismissive, and disrespectful manner. She told me that I should just drop off the specimen and come back another day for my son's blood work. Her tone and attitude were completely unnecessary. I did not argue with her. I simply said, "Okay, thank you. I will do the drop-off and come back another day for the blood work." When I went into the room to complete the specimen drop-off, a nurse came in and noticed that I also needed lab work. The nurse was very kind, patient, and professional. I explained to her that I was already late for work and that I had planned to do the drop-off and return another day for the blood work. She kindly told me that since I was already there, she would try to take care of it and that it should not be a big problem. I really appreciated the nurse's attitude because she treated me with understanding and respect. She was trying to help me rather than make the situation more difficult. Unfortunately, the same front-desk employee then came into the room in a very rude and abrupt manner. She spoke to the nurse and told her that the blood work was not supposed to be done and that only the specimen drop-off was supposed to be completed. The way she entered the room and spoke about the situation was uncomfortable and, in my opinion, completely unnecessary. I then asked her directly why she was being so rude to me. I had spoken to her politely from the beginning. I was not yelling, arguing, or demanding special treatment. I was simply trying to understand what was happening and explain my circumstances. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I have been coming to this same lab location many times, and I have experienced the same type of rude behavior from this employee on previous visits. This is not an isolated incident for me. I have repeatedly felt uncomfortable because of the way I have been spoken to and treated by her. I understand that medical laboratories can be very busy, especially in the morning. I also understand that employees have procedures they must follow. However, being busy does not give anyone a reason to speak to patients in a disrespectful or dismissive manner. A patient should be able to ask a simple question without being made to feel like they are causing a problem. I especially found the difference between the front-desk employee and the nurse very noticeable. The nurse was calm, kind, patient, and willing to help me find a solution. That is the type of professionalism and compassion I would expect from a healthcare facility. I am asking management to please take this complaint seriously and look into this employee's repeated behavior toward me. I would appreciate it if management reviewed what happened today and addressed the situation appropriately. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic respect and professional communication when I come to the lab with my children for medical services. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that patients and their families are treated with courtesy, patience, and respect in the future. I also want to recognize the nurse who helped me today. She was kind and professional, and I truly appreciated her willingness to help me during a stressful morning. My concern is specifically with the repeated behavior of the front-desk employee. After multiple experiences of being treated this way, I believe it is important to speak up and make management aware of what is happening.
