My first experience, my physician ordered a CT scan and the earliest appointment was in 3 weeks. I canceled and went elsewhere. The second experience, my physician ordered a MRI of the head and neck. The earliest time slot they had was in 2.5 weeks. So I show up to the appointment, go through the check in process, I finally get taken back towards the MRI, answer a few more questions before the young lady asks, "so you're getting a MRI of your head?". No, I retort, it's of my head and neck. She replied, "yes your doctor ordered an MRI of your head and neck but you were only scheduled for the head part tonight". WHAT!!!!! I was livid. It took every morsel of my being to restrain myself. I'll be getting the MRI of both head and neck done at the other place where I previously ended up, because they seem to operate with a basic level of common sense.
