Absolutely amazing!! Everyone is so kind to talk to and made my first time being here perfect! I had come mainly just to see if baby was breech 36 weeks so wasn't concerned about photo quality but they came out wonderful totally a bonus!! Even they were surprised how well they came out with how far along I am my amniotic fluid is to thank for that I drink 3 Liters of water everyday! Ps yes baby was head down!! My wife and I are expecting our first child. Disappointed with the images we saw with our doctor we wanted to go to a place like PeekABoo and see better images and to be sure about the gender. My impression before arriving was not great: we called several times during business hours and no one answered the phone. They required making the appointment via text message. We didn't like the text message thing --we wanted to ask about whether she needed to drink a lot of water in advance, etc. Ultimately, we ended up going here because they answered the texts faster than their competitor. We had wanted one appointment on a Monday. I am stationed at Quantico and due to 95 traffic we weren't sure if we could make it to Peek a Boo in an hour. Peek a Boo wasn't flexible if we were running late --they said they'd charge us anyways so we had to pick a later appointment. They said we had to be at least 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork. We were kind of disappointed by this. We picked a weekend appointment and made sure to be early. I completely respect not wanting to waste appointment times but being so inflexible for people that are traveling up to an hour that if they're not 10 minutes early you'll charge them anyway is a little crazy. Fortunately booking the appointment was the only frustrating thing worth mentioning. Arriving to the location there is plenty of parking. The waiting area is large and has comfortable couches and examples of photo albums and other items to look at --to include stuffed animals that they insert a recording of your baby's heartbeat ($35). The receptionist was professional and friendly. The paperwork only took a few minutes to complete. There was also a decorated wall where you could take a photo if you like. The appointment started right on time. The ultrasound room was spacious with a lot of couch seating in case it's not just you and your significant other. The room was decorated to look perfectly not medical and very warm and comfortable. The bed for the ultrasound looked more like bedroom furniture than a medical office. My wife really liked the tech and the tech was good about explaining things and pointing out things on the ultrasound. The gel for the ultrasound was even warmed. The ultrasound machine was hooked to a projector which projected probably a 10 foot by 10 foot image of the ultrasound onto a screen mounted to the wall. It gave great visibility to everything. We were able to see in incredible detail our baby girl and hear the heartbeat. The tech was awesome and was patient with questions and was quick to explain everything. On the way out: the receptionist confirmed our email address and let us know that they would send us a link with the photos and video of the ultrasound. They printed a couple of photos for us on the spot and gave us a nice bag that was full of information about products and services. We received the link to the photos and the video almost immediately. We're very pleased with our experience at PeekABoo and would recommend it to friends and family! read more

If I could leave less than a star, I would. Do not waste your money. I drove 3 hours out of the way to see my baby. I didn't get to see him AT ALL. I asked Mia, the sonographer, if I could add time on and she said no. She was completely incompetent and ambivalent as to what her job is. She could've cared less. Terrible bedside manner. Literally I spent my time and money, at 28 wks pregnant, to listen to his heartbeat. DO NOT waste your time or money. read more

Called 2 or so weeks in advanced and the person who answered our phone call was super nice and answered all our questions promptly. We came here this morning for our appointment at 10am when they had opened. Got there 20 mins earlier than appointment and was actually surprised doors were already unlocked and they were open! Front desk was sweet, and the lady (owner) who did our ultrasound/sonogram was cute, funny, and charming. The room is set up very comfy and surprisingly large enough to probably fit a good amount of people. Great experience! We will absolutely be back in the future! read more

SNEAK PEEK REVIEW EXPERIENCE!! The old reviews about this place are TOTALLY wrong! I desperately wanted to do the "sneak peek" blood test however I wanted to use a lab to not risk contamination. This was the closest option to me and it was four hours away!!! I read pretty much every review on every site but I decided that I had to try it. I called for an appointment and I was answered by a young girl who wasn't too knowledgeable about the sneak peek test. Internally I freaked out because that is exactly what they reviews cautioned! However the girl who answered my call went and ASKED someone for the answers to all of my questions and she was polite so I had no complaints in the end. It was still a red flag to me. I was so nervous about my appointment! I added the $25 u/s because I wanted to be sure I was still pregnant when I took the test. We arrived at the time of opening which was 10am and the door was open. There was PLENTY of space to sit and toys for my daughter to play with. Plus they have like a photo booth area for families to take photos while they wait. That alone was worth it! (If I could pay $25 for an ultrasound and to use the photo area in my hometown then I'd be there every month -- no lie!) There was a young high school girl acting as a receptionist however her mom was right there training her. Everyone was super polite and professional. Again, I had zero issues. The ultrasound room is beautiful. Huge screen and comfy seats for family and patient. I learned that Tiffany, the owner, was who did my ultrasound. She had a student with her so she was teaching. I'm a nurse and I have a soft spot for students! But the added benefit was that while she taught the student, I was able to learn more about my little fetus' anatomy. Like she pointed out the "yolk stalk" etc. AWESOME! Plus she gave us perfect photos to do the "nub theory" test. The photos are crystal clear and really good! Then I had male phlebotomist. He was very skilled and took my blood on the first try. I was a bit panicked because I feared contamination. I didn't want his DNA to give me a false-boy answer. I told him that too and we joked. It was great conversation and he allowed my husband, mother, and baby to watch. Again, great customer Service. I was afraid that since this was a private office that maybe the phlebotomist wouldn't be good and I'd leave bruised up. Upon leaving I had to ask the mother, Jackie, who was whom. I had a great experience! Then I learned that it is a FAMILY operated small business! I love that!!! I totally love supporting small businesses like this one! It's very American! Also, I asked her about how they were going to ship my package to sneak peek. I was nervous... She said that she would personally mail it after I left Express mail. Sure enough, the very next day I received the email confirmation that they received my order and 4 hours later I received the results. It's a girl (so no contamination!) I personally am not thrilled with the results YET because this is my last child and I already have a 16 month old girl but at least NOW I can begin planning. This facility was exactly what I wanted! I'm overdue for writing this review but felt like it was important to share my experience here. I visited this place in April 2020 and was so exited to see my baby, especially with this being my first, and go through this experience. Upon walking in, the front desk clerk, Jackie, was extremely rude when I mentioned that I needed to go to the bathroom prior to my appt. I understand that I need to have some water in my system for the best results, but hello I am pregnant after all so its not unheard of that I needed to go to the rest room. After using the restroom, I did down a bottle of water and was able to see my baby just fine. Tiffany, the owner and ultrasound tech, was very pleasant but overall, the poor attitude and bedside manner from Jackie at the front desk makes me not want to come back here nor recommend this place to others. read more

I booked a very last minute appointment and they were able to get me in the very next day! It was so nice to be able to take my mother in law and mom, seeing as most places won't let you bring more than one person due to COVID. We arrived and were taken back to the room immediately, the lady that did my ultrasound was extremely nice and so patient with my stubborn little bean sprout. The room felt very at home and cozy, plus the jumbo screen was amazing to see the baby on! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be going back as I get further along! I am seriously going to post my review everywhere that I can, because everyone needs to know! PeekABoo3D is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, it was very nice and cozy. The atmosphere was just perfect. Our daughter who is usually anti-stranger actually tried to take off her shoes because she felt so safe and at home! When it was my turn to be scanned, we were treated so kindly and the lady performing the scan made it so special. She made nice conversation and was very dedicated to getting good images for us. Peekaboo is amazing! After a bad week of test results being delayed and feeling very defeated, I texted them wondering if I could get an appointment sometime soon. They fit me in the same day! When I got there they were so covid safe and polite. Everyone was wearing masks and I felt totally safe. The staff was wonderful the whole time. Baby wouldn't cooperate and they were so patient! I felt like they gave me longer than the allotted appointment time just to make sure I was happy. When I found out the gender and heard the heartbeat I started crying. It had been a month since my last doctors appointment and I was very worried with delayed test results. The ladies were so kind and sympathetic. Just absolutely wonderful. I went at 24 weeks and at first the baby wasn't cooperating, but the technicians were patient and made sure we left with awesome ultrasound pictures and an overall good experience. This business offers "pay ahead" packages for multiple visits. The idea being that when you pay ahead for two visits, you're able to see your baby at different stages. This is a great idea! However, trying to schedule the second appointment, they will make you jump through hoops. Your second visit should be done before 34 weeks, but they were booked up for a month. The only times I was offered were right in the middle of the day. In the end, I will have to take off of work or lose the money I put into the 2 visit package. However, I had a friend call them the same day to see what they had available for her "first visit". They offered her several convenient afternoon spots. Moreover, our first visit was interesting. The staff were less than friendly. I'd expect a warm/fuzzy experience given that I'm paying to enjoy seeing my baby. That was not at all what we experienced. read more

This place is AWFUL and the front desk receptionist is absolutely HORRIBLE. Extremely rude, not helpful at all, and really ruined the experience for us when having our gender ultrasound done. Would NEVER go back to this place or recommend anyone to go to it. I was nervous about coming to this place since the reviews were not that great but I had no issues at all! The office was very clean and presentable. The receptionist was welcoming and answered all the questions my husband and I had. The room where they perform the ultrasound was huge and extremely nice! It had a large couch so family and friends could come and a large screen to see the baby. The owner, who does the scanning, was kind and explained what we're looking at - we are 9 weeks so the baby is really small. She did not rush us at all and was patient to continue the ultrasound until we could see the baby move a little. I definitely recommend this place to any expecting mothers! read more

Today I had an apt here to take a sneak peek at my little peanut. (I am 12 weeks along). Avoid this place if you can. Cattle call !!! I truly felt like a number and that they were trying to rush me thru the process. I asked if I could use the bathroom and the Owner said, "no, lay down." **Please note that my bladder did NOT need to be full for this procedure.** The female receptionist at the front desk with the short red hair was unsociable and NOT helpful in the least. Unfriendly at best and outright rude at worst. I don't think this business will last. read more

I went in to redeem a Halloween special for a 3D/4D/HD ultrasound. The experience was amazing and I absolutely loved seeing my little guy wiggle around in such high quality! I understand a pandemic is going on, I do. The treatment I received today was horrible. The front desk receptionist had a terrible attitude, policies were not explained. Me and my spouse were the only people of color and I feel like that could have been it. One white couple was offered a teddy bear with the baby's heartbeat and she was seen after me. Lysol was sprayed after me and my child's dad left the waiting area, but yet another white couple that had left, as I was coming in did not get the same protocol. For the young lady at the front, you are lucky enough to be working right now. I mean you always have the option of calling out, and please do not bring your problems to work. Very unprofessional. You deal with expectant mothers, and we EXPECT you to be professional. The only good thing about this experience was the stenographer showing me my baby and my room was nice. For any people of color, you have been warned to not patronize this business, save yourself the stress. read more

Went in not knowing what to expect, the women I talked to were amazing the woman who did my ultrasound made it a fun experience and explained everything. Went in not knowing the gender and she made it fun when she told us and explained how she knew it was a little girl. The waiting room is big has children's toys the ultrasound room was astonishing! Enough room to fit an army! the bed was so comfortable not like an ordinary doctors bed. My daughter got the heartbeat buddy and they were so sweet about waiting for her to pick which animal she wanted. All around amazing experience and would 100% recommend read more

Back in June, I had my ultrasound for Kaiser and was so disappointed and upset that the tech refused to find the sex of the baby. I left with my husband feeling hopeless. My husband didn't want to see me upset so he offered to take me to a 3D ultrasound. It was 12pm on a Friday afternoon and every place in the Northern Virginia Area was booked. I saw reviews for Peekaboo and called and told them what happened and they booked me for 4pm that afternoon. We live in Manassas so it was quite a distance to travel, but it was so worth it. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The actual ultrasound room was so nice. There was a comfy bed for me to lie on, sofas for my husband and son, soft pleasant spa-like music and to top it off the ultrasound was projected onto the wall. The tech was so so so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. We ordered the 2D pack to verify the sex, but because we had to wait a while she let us see the baby in 3D, hear the heart beat and gave us 4 pics. 2 in 2D and 2 in 3D. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend them. When we have another baby we'll return for sure. read more

Called to book my appointment and had a couple questions beforehand. Right off the bat, Tiffany (who I later found out is the owner), acted like I was bothering her with my questions. I proceeded to ask if my mom, who wanted to purchase our package as a gift but lives in California, could purchase the package. I told her that I was aware she could purchase online but I wanted to make sure I could still get the military discount. After explaining that my husband was active duty, Tiffany told me that she needed MY ID card-well obviously I have one if my husband is active duty! She then told me that because my mom way paying, I couldn't get the discount because they would have to see her military ID. To which I explained again that she lives out of town, but I was the one getting the ultrasound. I even asked again-so there is no way of getting the discount even though we are all military affiliated with proper ID, to which I was again told "no". I proceeded to tell her I would check elsewhere and was responded by a very blank "ok". I then posted a review on their Facebook page and was almost instantly replied with a very argumentative response claiming I "didn't give her a chance to explain that my mom could have paid over the phone". Complete Bologna considering I gave her many opportunities to offer that! Later I found out Tiffany is the owner and has gotten many bad reviews on her and her receptionists bad attitudes. What poor business practice and an embarrassing way to operate your "family business"! You all should be completely embarrassed and I don't see your business being a staple in the community for very long! I have had nothing but good experiences here. The staff is friendly and the ultrasound tech is highly skilled. The early peek (starting at 10 weeks) is very reassuring in a time in the pregnancy when you can't feel the baby and want to be sure things are going ok. I've found out the gender of two different pregnancies here and she's always been right. It's a great facility, nice and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others. read more

The low ratings made me kind of hesitant, but I am so glad I went! I had a great experience, the staff was friendly and I got more pics than I asked for. The level of technology they have there is amazing. My baby girls pictures were extremely clear. It is easy to say she is my mini me lol We caught her smiling and laughing. She even stuck her tongue out. I came with 3 people and there were a lot of seating that were comfortable for my fam. I even got a DVD of my session for a fair price. I am so in love with my pictures I can't stop staring at them!! I can go on and on about the great experience I had. Also, I know a lot of people rated poorly because return visits cannot be done on the weekend, but even though I didn't choose additional visits I clearly saw that stated because it was highlighted. Normally I don't do stuff like this but have never had my family treated so poorly before. PeekABoo 3d/4d Ultrasound had a facebook contest for a free ultrasound and my wife won. She called and scheduled the appointment for today. We arrive and the store is locked so we called their number. My wife was told we don't have an appointment becaise she never gave her credit card info. She was never asked to do this nor call back after her initial call awhile back. The person who took the call never offered my wife to reschedule or if we COULD pay. She hung up on my wife. We have been there before and paid to see our daughter a few years ago so we are a paying customer. I called back and was immediately told not to call and harass them and then was hung up on. I called again and the manager called and had an unprofessional tone raising her voice and told me to stop calling and not to harass then to next hang up on me. I called again and said we have been there before and i have paid for this service. The manager hung up again as i started to tell her how unprofessional she was. I am in the customer service busniess and have never treated someone like this. A simple we can schedule or if you pay wouldve been a start. This contest was a free service we are willing to pay for. We will take our business elsewhere. It ruined our day as we had our children there with us to see their new sister. I hope that store shuts down and this message gets passed around.
