My first experience, my physician ordered a CT scan and the earliest appointment was in 3 weeks. A couple of days before the scheduled appointment, I received a call stating that the wrong CT had been scheduled so I would have to re-schedule another 3 weeks in the future. I canceled and went elsewhere. The second experience, my physician ordered a MRI of the head and neck. The earliest time slot they had was in 2.5 weeks. So I show up to the appointment, go through the check in process, I finally get taken back towards the MRI, answer a few more questions before the young lady asks, "so you're getting a MRI of your head?". No, I retort, it's of my head and neck. She replied, "yes your doctor ordered an MRI of your head and neck but you were only scheduled for the head part tonight". WHAT!!!!! I was livid. It took every morsel of my being to restrain myself. I'll be getting the MRI of both head and neck done at the other place where I previously ended up, because they seem to operate with a basic level of common sense.

I've gone in multiple times feeling miserable, in clear distress, and every single time I've been told "it's just a cold." That line is their go-to -- no matter what your symptoms are, how much pain you're in, or how obvious it is that something's wrong. I once went in with pneumonia -- and what did they say? "It's just a cold." I have an autoimmune disease, and misdiagnosing something like pneumonia in someone like me is not just careless -- it's dangerous. If I hadn't persisted and pushed for an X-ray, I never would've known I had it. Most recently, I went in with a severe ear infection. I had intense pain, pressure, and thick yellow drainage, and it hurt to swallow on one side. They ran the most basic two swabs -- COVID and strep/flu -- and nothing more. The doctor was in the room with me for maybe two seconds before brushing me off yet again with, "It's just a cold." It's not okay to send people home without proper care, especially when they're repeatedly coming in for the same symptoms. Their negligence could have led to serious complications if I hadn't followed up elsewhere. I'm so tired of being dismissed here. People deserve better healthcare than this. If you're sick and need real answers, go literally anywhere else.

On the date of this survey, I came in for a Pre-employment physical for ICE. This makes no sense to me, because if I'm required to stay still why are the machines connections being played with. So I went back to the clinic (as a walk in) and again I didn't have to wait long, again saw Margaret Dean, and got different antibiotics. Again, no charge.
