I was immediately greeted by a technician who noticed my box kit and gave me paperwork on a clipboard and pen to fill out. I spent some time listening to the African-American woman at the front desk and was impressed by her patience with hyper-verbal, language barrier and nervous people asking/talking/being pushy about their lab work. She spoke to be understood, not simply to respond, and that takes finesse. The technician asked me which arm I preferred and was gentle with my desire to have a butterfly needle used. This means a lot to a person to be heard and respected of their wishes and not just rushed to get the job done. I was in an out of there in a jiffy, even with others coming in and going out. That was nice, as I was fasted and looking forward to eating something quickly!

Anyway, quest is good for blood a urine draws, they also offer tests that you might need like strep, flu, etc. Anyhow, there are many Quest locations around DFW. I prefer this one. I highly recommend downloading the app and using it to make a reservation. They do take walk ins as well. I have never had a bad experience at this Quest (my experiences have been for post physical blood draws and a strep test in once). They have a waiting room with 10 chairs and two check in kiosks. Their staff has always treated me friendly and with respect, (and I should mention that respect is a two way street). Anyway, the quality of care has been great in my opinion. So I hope if you need to is Quest's services that you have a positive experience as well.

He refused to look me or my wife in the eye, never introduced himself, and physically hurt me. I am bruised from where he wrapped my arm SO tightly with a band to insert my IV. The band tightness was actually more painful than my kidney stone and sepsis, the reason for my visit. I begged for relief and so did my wife. I twisted and moaned and cried in pain. He said nothing. This was completely awful, emotionally scarring, and I cannot believe this man is allowed to practice medicine when he does not care about the patient's comfort. I wouldn't recommend going here if you even might look a little gay.

Do not visit Labcorp…read more Back in April, I was referred to a hematologist that is licensed to practice in Texas (their office is in Florida). I live in Texas. My insurance is BCBS Texas. I took the single blood test lab that my hematologist ordered for me to do at LabCorp and did it (in Texas... where I live). Months later in September, LabCorp sent me a $980 bill for the single blood test. They had billed it against BCBS Florida. I called them and asked about it. I did the test in Texas and live in Texas. Why are they billing it to FL? They said it's because my doctor is in Florida. My doctor said she is licensed for Texas and ordered it appropriately. LabCorp doesn't care. They've been hounding me for $980 for one blood test. Ridiculous. I called and they told me I could do a "Financial Hardship Request" and that they won't keep sending me bill reminders while it's being reviewed. I did the Hardship request, e-mailed it back to the place they requested. I even e-mailed to request confirmation they received my application and let them know I still got bills. No reply. It's been months. I got a bill today telling me I had 20 days to pay or I go to collections. $980 for a blood test is a scam and ridiculous. NEVER DO LABCORP.
