My first time at this office, it is in the Ascension Saint Agnes building, the first floor right…read moreoff the lobby, easy to find. I was a walk-in and handled well in order, approx 30 minute wait with 4 others in the waiting room when I arrived. Was here for a routine blood draw. Check in was easy, the secretary was cordial and efficient. They bring you back to what would be individual draw "rooms" (3 walls and a curtain), however the phlebotomist was just working out of one room and would call your name. The appearance was general boredom with the job, no real interaction other than name and birthday. She had earbuds in and I could hear random noises from under her hair. The blood draw itself was fine, she overshot the vein, so I anticipate a bruise, but she did get the vein after a slight adjustment. Overall it was a fine visit, the phlebotomist's lack of interest and overshooting the vein indicate to me it is just a job for her without the desire to do better. I will be back for future visits because of the convenient location and hours.

I am writing to express concerns about the patient experience at this location, which has become…read morechallenging since the departure of Ashley and Nadine. Specifically, I have observed that while generally a skilled phlebotomist, Andrea's patient check-in demeanor has been negative. On one occasion, patients waited for 25 minutes, leading one to leave. My attempt to address this with Regional Director Nicole Gray was not productive. Andrea returned from the back with her supervisor on speakerphone and, seemingly unfazed by the situation, exhibited unprofessional and rude behavior, including a dismissive verbalization of "I Don't Care!!!". This type of response is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting.I am also troubled by the handling of previous issues. I was informed that Nadine, who consistently demonstrated politeness, professionalism, and courtesy, was to receive an award. However, she was removed from this location and, to my knowledge, did not receive the promised recognition.Furthermore, my attempts to contact corporate have gone unanswered for several weeks. A separate, serious concern involves unsanitary practices at the LabCorp Catonsville location, where phlebotomists' extremely long hair extensions are allowed to come into contact with patients' arms.To resolve these issues, I propose the following:Immediate attention to Andrea's patient interaction skills, including training and clear expectations for professional conduct.Clarification regarding Nadine's departure and the status of her promised award.A prompt response from corporate regarding my previous communication.A review of hygiene protocols at the LabCorp Catonsville location, with immediate correction of the hair-related issue. As the patient, an experience at LabCorp should not result in distress. I am committed to working collaboratively to find another location to perform routine labs iand ensure a safe and positive experience. There is a pattern of unprofessionalism here. At this point, leaving a review and finding another LabCorp is the only recourse. Wishing everyone the best.

Here are my thoughts...no, the writing order was done deliberately in case you are wondering* 4/3/25 Six year have gone by since seeing videos of people dying in Wuhan, China. It looked like something you would see in a horror movie and I found this hard to believe. Well truth can be stranger than fiction, and the world would found out this wasn't a bullshit prank. I remember hearing about two people feeling woozy on an airplane, and then being rushed to the hospital. Two people turned into more people being sick. It only got worse after that. I was working as a limousine driver when I was given the opportunity to work elsewhere, and I took it. It wasn't long afterwards that the lock down took place. Now before the lock down happened, I noticed the school kids being released from school early. Days later I noticed school wasn't in session and that the kids stayed home. On March 14th 2020 I was going to get a waxing touch up followed by a two massage done at Classic Nail Spa with Amy. Unfortunately, I had to cancel for some reason I can't remember. I remember Amy calling me back to see if I wanted to reconsider canceling. Amy said "a lockdown could happen soon and this could be my last chance for a while. " I appreciated the call, but I still canceled the appointment. The very next day the The United States Of America shutdown. Many things that people through out the world may have taken for granted, we're immediately revoked. Going to get a massage, haircuts, waxing, amusement parks, movie theaters restaurants, going to work, colleges and schooling became non-existent. Hell, even the porn industry and wars all over the world were shutdown for a while. Covid-19 seemed to make people come together to fight one uncommon enemy. I walked around Tyson's Corner Mall and found the place was like a post-apocalyptic area, but without the destruction and devastation. Just the sounds of silence. This was an overwhelming experience. The people getting sick and dying count continued to rise, while buying masks, toilet paper, paper towels, masks and disinfectant became scarce. People started hoarding products and selling them for twice the cost or higher. I never saw people fighting over products during the Covid-19 era, but am sure it happened. The way people behaved had me thinking about the stories I heard when the Aids also known as Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Fear of the unknown was truly an overwhelming experience. Being able to get a Covid-19 Vaccine when it came out was a very big deal. It was packed in many places and some people probably didn't have the patience to wait their turn in line. I never met those people during my Covid-19 time. TO BE CONTINUED...
