The one frustration I have was the process for setting up the appointment, and going through the registration process. They had trouble finding the order of the Dr sent in and connecting that to my appointment, and they asked me to fill out paperwork when I arrived that I had already completed online. For this visit, I had the bone density scan, and mammogram, and that process was very efficient and as pleasant as can be under those circumstances.

My wife and I just had the worst experience at the Sonora Quest Laboratory in Casa Grande, Arizona…read more In our 60 plus years of encountering medical organizations, we have never experienced anything so unprofessional, un-friendly, incompetent, time-consuming, and utterly mismanaged. We registered online and set up appointments for a simple blood type test. Our appointments were 7:30 and 7:45am. We arrived 15 minutes early as required. The lobby has no staff or receptionist. We checked in on an I-pad device. When I was called, the person could not process my request and said I will have to fill out forms and sent me back to wait in the lobby. Someone came out and gave me the 2-page form to fill out. After a few minutes another person came out to the lobby to give my wife her forms to fill out. We filled out the forms and waited. My wife was called after about 30 minutes. I waited until 8:03am, when the door opened, I approached the person to ask why I have not been called. My wife had just finished, so the lab tech called me back to process my request. He requested that my wife sit in the lab room with me. A lady came into the room to change the batteries in the wall thermostat because it was very warm and the AC was not working. That just added to the wait time. It was apparent that the lab tech did not know what he was doing and spent about 30 minutes attempting to enter data on the computer. He finally had to ask for assistance to complete the data entry after taking my credit card for payment. He finally drew my blood sample, and then took another 20 minutes completing the "paperwork" with another person showing him how to enter the two processes into the computer. While we were waiting there was a little girl in the next room that was terrified, crying and screaming about whatever they were trying to do to her. It was extremely uncomfortable to listen to that for 20 minutes. There was never any normal respectful conversation, no greeting, nor apology. The customer service was horrible. This is the worst and most disturbing experience we have ever had in ANY medical related office or organization. How a medical laboratory, servicing the public, can be so poorly operated and managed is beyond comprehension. We will never go into a Sonora Quest Laboratory again.

She was very impressed with how gentle and patient the staff were while they were taking her x-rays. My wife had a compression fracture to her L1 vertebrae and had to have an MRI. She was concerned about having to lay on her back for the time required for the procedure. The tech provided her with padding for her back to lessen the pain and the procedure was completed successfully. We have never found the front office personnel to be anything except friendly and professional.

I called twice and had to leave voice mails that were never answered. In addition, I contacted Banner two days before the procedure and was told to leave a message so they could return my call. Again, this never happened. This morning, my insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield) contacted this center and asked that they find out if the radiologist was in-network and let me know before driving 30 minutes for my appointment. Again, this never happened. For me, it is absolutely inexcusable to fail to answer four telephone calls. This is the correct address of the facility I was at today, but they are now called Banner Outpatient Imaging Center.

Then they failed to contact my oncologist to ask for the updates for the order to include new service not requested by the doctor. Then Banner said they were going to cancel the original appointment since they didn't get the additional order. I told them that the original imaging was v important and I didn't want them to cancel. I contacted my doc and had them reach out to solve the issue. Then the scheduler emailed me the night before the appointment and canceled the appointment because she claimed she couldn't reach my doctor. I had already confirmed that my doctors office had spoken with Banner the day before. I wrote an email to the scheduler expressing my displeasure and she didn't even bother to respond.

I went to this center on 05/18/26 for MRI and CAD scan. I had very BAD experience for MRI. They did…read morenot provide me with adequate noise cancelation except cheap ear plugs. Once in the MRI machine the noise was very load to the point my ears were hurting. I had MRI done at other locations and providers before and they provided provided proper ear set noise cancellation. "I am worried about my ears now". The locker where I changed would not open and it took me over 15 minutes to find someone to help. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Putting it all together, I had very bad experience and suggest to anyone who goes there for MRI ask for proper ear protection before going in to the MRI tube for testing.

I originally asked about a breathing treatment and was told they no longer do them due to Covid. I asked about getting a nebulizer as I couldn't breathe deeply enough to use inhaler. (They know I have COPD) Nothing came of that, the medical assistant told me to go home and use Flonase the way she explained how to. She said I can give you more antibiotics if you want but your lungs are clear so they won't help. I said the doctor mentioned pneumonia last week so she said I can order an xray but that's the only way to know. I said I didn't want more antibiotics if not needed, I wanted to breathe. Again, go home and use the Flonase and she left! This was 8:15 in the morning, so not sure why she was so rude. I've always felt valued before in this office, but this was very unprofessional!
