    My wife and I just had the worst experience at the Sonora Quest Laboratory in Casa Grande, Arizona…read more In our 60 plus years of encountering medical organizations, we have never experienced anything so unprofessional, un-friendly, incompetent, time-consuming, and utterly mismanaged. We registered online and set up appointments for a simple blood type test. Our appointments were 7:30 and 7:45am. We arrived 15 minutes early as required. The lobby has no staff or receptionist. We checked in on an I-pad device. When I was called, the person could not process my request and said I will have to fill out forms and sent me back to wait in the lobby. Someone came out and gave me the 2-page form to fill out. After a few minutes another person came out to the lobby to give my wife her forms to fill out. We filled out the forms and waited. My wife was called after about 30 minutes. I waited until 8:03am, when the door opened, I approached the person to ask why I have not been called. My wife had just finished, so the lab tech called me back to process my request. He requested that my wife sit in the lab room with me. A lady came into the room to change the batteries in the wall thermostat because it was very warm and the AC was not working. That just added to the wait time. It was apparent that the lab tech did not know what he was doing and spent about 30 minutes attempting to enter data on the computer. He finally had to ask for assistance to complete the data entry after taking my credit card for payment. He finally drew my blood sample, and then took another 20 minutes completing the "paperwork" with another person showing him how to enter the two processes into the computer. While we were waiting there was a little girl in the next room that was terrified, crying and screaming about whatever they were trying to do to her. It was extremely uncomfortable to listen to that for 20 minutes. There was never any normal respectful conversation, no greeting, nor apology. The customer service was horrible. This is the worst and most disturbing experience we have ever had in ANY medical related office or organization. How a medical laboratory, servicing the public, can be so poorly operated and managed is beyond comprehension. We will never go into a Sonora Quest Laboratory again.
