If I could give zero stars, I would…read more No one ever introduced themselves, including the person that came into the exam room to examine me. I still have no clue who she was - a medical assistant, nurse, doctor? There were huge HIPPA violations, leaving my demographic sheet and medical records face-up on front desk for over 10 minutes with no one behind the front desk - - front desk person checks people in, runs back office tests, takes vitals - does too much. I gave her my driver's license and insurance card and she said she would scan them and give them back to me. After front desk person came back after performing a test on another patient, she put their test results face-up on her desk and she again went into the back office for about 5 minutes. My records were still face-up on her desk. Over an hour wait to be taken back. The red-headed person who came into the exam room with a laptop spent no more than 4 minutes with me, and this was a new patient visit. Said, "yup, you've got this problem" and then proceeded to write on a notepad, then starting talking but I couldn't tell if she was talking to me or dictating on her laptop. Showed me her bruised up knees after she told me she fell, touched my feet and my ankles, said "take this paper to the front desk", picked up her laptop, turned to head out the door and said, "We're done". Wow, wow, wow - okay.... I started towards the front desk, but there is an office on the way there. A gal with 2 small children, the front desk gal, and another person were in that "office". The front office gal was just standing there socializing. Another person had their back to me while they were putting together beaded necklaces as a craft. The two small children (probably ages 2 or 3, and maybe 4 or 5) were playing on a cellphone and a tablet. The one gal was curled up in her chair, and as I was trying to hand her the paper and couldn't quite reach her, the gal refused to stand up to get it from me. I had to lean over to give it to her. She made some sort of an appointment for me (was never told what it was), and then the lady who came into my exam room handed this gal in the office a paper face-up which apparently were test results of another patient and said, "Here's Ben's results. Please scan them into his chart." The gal in the chair STILL refused to get up and this red-head had to lean over to give her the paper. I got my paper, which looks like it was printed on a dinosaur of a printer as there were black smudge marks all along the left side of the paper, like it hadn't been cleaned in forever, very unprofessional looking. The exam room table had used paper on it, and the roll of paper they use to string across the table for the patient to lie on was rolled up on the floor. Really sanitary. I have NO idea what happened in my exam, what the red-head was thinking, and only that I needed to get compression stockings (that I can't put on), and get some type of test done. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING was addressed of why I was there. I did try to break the ice at the beginning of my appointment by saying, "Looks like you've a busy day today." She replied, "Welcome to my world." Woke up this morning and realized that the front desk person never gave me my driver's license and insurance card back. I ran a ton of errands after my appointment which I'm thankful nothing happened to me during that time. I called in the next morning to make sure I could get them back, and when I finally got through to someone who could help me (you can't call the clinic directly, but have to go through a call center), I drove back to the clinic and asked them to bring my cards out to me. They did, and when she brought them out she said to me, "Name?". I told her, she handed them to me and I said to her, "How can it be that my license and insurance card were at the front desk all day and no one called me to let me know?" Her answer - "I wasn't here yesterday and I was told she put them in the drawer" and she proceeded to walk away. I used to work front office at a medical clinic for over 20 years. The most unprofessional, unsanitary, HIPPA violating office I have EVER seen.

Update: 5/5 A+ is all I can say. From the ma, to the pa, and to the ultrasound tech....everyone was…read moresuper courteous and thorough. Eric, the PA, took his time to educate me about the circulatory system, why veins need to be treated, and the repercussions of not treating them long term. The ultrasound tech was a pleasure to talk to, and the ma was very friendly as well. Speaking to them made me realize how much info was missing from the previous practice I went to. This should be the standard for all medical practices. I live in buckeye and made the drive out here, and it was worth it. Excited to continue my treatments here Initial call over the phone went well so far. The instructions that the scheduler gave me for what to do before the initial consultation was more thorough than the other vascular surgeon's place I went to in peoria. I asked if previous medical records from there need to be faxed over but they said no. Crossing my fingers that everything goes well!

Odd they couldn't have sent an email earlier. I went for the appointment on Jun 12, 2025 that was confirmed by email last week and was told that it was yesterday. They had the wrong phone number for me; my number has not changed since Jun, 2015. My wife received a phone call this morning reminding her of an appointment at 10:45; neither of us had that on our calendar so we had another appointment scheduled at 10:00. The remote receptionist can barely speak English, not a good way to reduce overhead and certainly not able to accommodate people with vision or hearing issues as required by Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). My wife has been unable to drive for three years due to neuro issues; the staff at Banner Brain and Spine identified her problem and scheduled minor surgery for her. It is worth the drive to Gilbert for better quality care.

When I went to my July visit, I was told twice during my visit, both by the tech who took my vitals, and Karen the NP that I would be seeing Dr. Pandey. I did not get to see him. Why did I wait a month to get in then?! There is no live body when you check in, it's on a screen. That is NOT professional at all! Yet the last 2 times we have been in the waiting room, the girls in the back- near the front desk are chit chatting with a woman who is standing in the office door. They do not answer their phone. I have sent numerous text messages and messages via their "portal". I was told I needed to give Karen the NP "time". I have give her 2 weeks and have yet to hear a response. I have never been to a medical office that is so cold, uninviting and non welcoming.

Dr. Thorpe sacrificed my chances of recovery to her dwindling practice and limited resources. I…read morecame to her with a fresh DVT requesting thrombolysis and thrombectomy. She stalled me with repeated ultrasounds, for 2 months, until the window for these procedures had closed. When confronted, she confessed that she had no hospital privileges to perform these procedures. Why didn't she disclose that the first visit? She proposed bilateral iliac stents in her little office suite. But, I would have tp pay out of pocket because she has rent to pay. This sounded fishy to me, so I sought a second opinion, and professional ultrasounds. My iliacs are wide open and my DVT is beyond salvage. I will never understand why she strung me along until it was too late. Now, I am left impaired for life. Thanks for nothing Dr. Thorpe. You literally did nothing.

That mistake could have killed me and I am incredibly lucky it did not. Once I was out of the hospital and still feeling like something was not right and I was not progressing and healing I had additional scans. With those scans in hand I came to Pulse for a second opinion. They completed my first procedure on the right leg Memorial Day weekend- by Sunday my right leg already felt 1000% better. I am so happy and pleased with the level of experience, expertise and care that I received. I mattered as a patient and was not just a number to churn through. The Doctors and staff at this establishment are nothing short of amazing and I will gladly trust this with all of my vascular needs.
