One employee told a patient that they could not be seen before their scheduled appointment time, while another staff member later stated that patients could be taken up to 10 minutes early. After waiting for a significant amount of time, I asked whether walk-ins were actually being accepted. Despite there being a gap between appointments, I was still not seen. At that point, I decided to leave. I understand that scheduling and patient flow can be challenging, but clearer communication and more consistency would have made for a much better experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I do not plan to return.

The entire facility was being run by one phlebotomist, which is either an intentional cost-cutting tactic or pure operational incompetence. Either way, it's unacceptable. There is no reasonable explanation for standbys to be sitting for hours unless management simply doesn't care about patient time or experience. There was no sense of urgency, no transparency, no communication just endless waiting while time slipped away. Do yourself a favor book an appointment or Avoid this location entirely Walking in here without an appointment is a guaranteed waste of your day. The worst. Period.

I politely tell her that she isn't allowed to scan my card and that it is illegal, and she gets defensive and with my card. She wrote down more than my benefit ID number. I ask her to please remove the other number and she one lines it and says okay with a rude tone. I'm being polite still and my patience is wearing thin. She assures me that she has scanned many military cac cards like mine and never had a problem. I then show her the DOD instruction about it being illegal to scan and copy information other than my benefit ID. I wasn't trying to cause problems here. Actually, I was saving us both problems by not letting her scan my card. Kindness goes a long ways folks. I'm polite and respectful, and it'd be nice for me to receive the same in return especially if I'm the one giving your company business. I was going to give a low score but the nurse and the doctor were very polite, and it would not be fair to give a low score for the actions of one person.

Got into rats nest (not knowing what it was) I did not put mask on and breathed this for several hours. I have several medical conditions: COPD emphysema, diabetes, polycythemia vera, high b/p, hemochromatosis, high cholesterol, and a few more. When a friend came by and told me about the Hantavirus, it scared me. I phoned primary doctor, was told to get to ER since I have lung diseases and it's critical for me to be tested asap. Went to BSW emergency hospital explained to them why I needed this test done. A blood test was done and CT scan of chest (I had a bra on with underwire, informed tech but was not ask to remove bra). That will interfere with scan. I ask RN again about Hantavirus test. Was told they can not do it at this facility, I needed to go to bigger hospital. Ok then I needed to go. But I sat there waiting. At least 3 1/2 hrs have gone by. Why am I still here wasting my time and ask to leave. Once they released me, they told me to pickup prescription from CVS 24 hour service. Which I did, ask Pharmacist what the medication was for and he stated my lungs. Then looking at my release papers, they had diagnosed me with COPD and hemochromatosis. WHAT !!! I'm the one that told them that I had these two diseases and had a lung doctor. I didn't go to the hospital for that reason but they diagnose me with that, but I already knew that. I phoned and questioned this and got the run around. Wow, what a waste of time !! They don't allow photos or recordings so I apologize for the few photos I could take. I'm sure everyone has their own opinions about this emergency hospital, but I'm just very disappointed in how I was treated. They must not truly have listened to me. I have their names but I say lesson learned... don't go back !!

Upon arrival I was taken back to a bed immediately and the nurses and doctors started rolling in. After a machine (like a sonogram ) was brought to find a vein and blood was drawn ( dark & very thick ) by an Awesome, skilled, and knowledgeable Registered Nurse " Jason G ", Seven (7) different blood lab tests were performed, a Head & Chest CT along with an EKG were done. (Given baby aspirin-love the orange flavor). Yesterday's visit turned out well or I wouldn't be typing this Review. High Five to Doctors Erik Ledig and Michael Dempsey for their concern and bedside manner. To all the nurses, especially Jason G. Thank You so much for you care ! This establishment was welcoming, clean, plenty of parking, quick, informative, and gives you information to research and read concerning your condition though they ask a lot if I had questions. This was a wake-up call for me. People must respect their body's and mind, when it's trying to tell you something with tingling in left arm, heavy painful chest, and dizziness.
