Labcorp - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Bridgewater, New Jersey

No ones favorite place to go early in the morning. However, check in is quick and easy (wish other places used the same technology) Every tech I have ever seen is friendly, quick and knows their job. Typically, in and out in less than 30 min. read more

Like a short trip to hell. I had an appointment for 10 AM. From the computer screen, I saw that they called three people without appointments before me. I finally got called at 10:25. The woman who drew my blood was a trainee with a nose ring. It took five minutes to fill a tube, then she called another phlebologist to help her. read more

EVERYTHING ! telling the woman at the front I was there early. I could not understand what she was telling me. I sat down and at 12:10 I finally went back up and said when will I get Nextel. She mumbled they are running late. Told her I could not sit in pain any longer. She finally called me in to give my information. I saw all the phlebotomist running back and forth so fast they looked like they had roller skates on. They told me to stand under the exit sign till they call me in. I think there were 3 or maybe 4 rooms with curtains for privacy. I prayed I didn't get the woman who didn't know if she was coming or going but I did. Are u still with me? Here comes the part that I will never forget . I told the phlebotomist that the vein in my left arm was not good last week when I had blood drawn. U could see it still had a black and blue. Told her the vein on my right arm is better from what the lady phlebotomist said! She grabbed the bad vein and put the put the tight band in above my vein. I asked her how many tubes? She said 6. She stuck me but did not leave the needle alone. She kept moving it in my vein. Judy like the last phlebotomist did when she pulled it out and used my other arm. It took forever. I asked her why it was taking so long? Was the blood coming out slowly? Because again, the last person pulled it out and restarted it in the good arm. She kept pushing on needle that was in my vein and I saw how slowly the blood was trickling out. I prayed it would be over quickly because no one likes getting their blood drawn much less 6 viles! She pulled needle out and put a 4x4 gauze pad folded in half and put a band aid on and told me to leave. By the time I walked out of building and on to side walk the blood was bleeding out! Bleeding out of my arm, thru the band aid and all over the side walk. My friend walked me back in because I was about to faint. Never saw anything like this in my 60 years of life. I opened the door to get back into office and all the people crowding in the waiting room saw me walk in with blood running all over me and the floor. I screamed to get someone's attention to help me. They took my back immediately. There was no place to sit. I had to walk back into the room where she took the blood. Meanwhile I was trying not to pass out. The blood was a dark red and it was rushing out of my arm. The pavement and their floors in waiting room was covered in my blood! I could not stop the bleeding. As one technician grabbed my arm and put warm compresses on the others were cleaning up the floor! She rapidly put more gauze on the area and put the regular length of flexible material around the area 4 times around to put enough pressure on it to stop the bleeding ! Then they told me to leave. The patients in the waiting room were horrified. I know I have never seen anything like I was experiencing, ever. If they would have slowed down and took the time which as needed she would have put enough pressure than a piece of gauze and a band aid! The way they are treating real people (patients)!is unfair. It look like a money making place to me. Know I will always have this fear it will happen again! Lab Corp u need to do better. We are not sardines or a heard of cattle. Our time is as important as yours and u are suppose to know what you are doing when taking blood. I highly recommend the board of health go in for a day and see how they operate this blood market! It's inhumane the way they have it set up and they are more interested in numbers of people going there than the type of care they are giving. Very upset . I should have never been let go until the bleeding stopped ! I couldn't even find the band aid because it was covered with my blood dripping out quickly. They are lucky i did not pass out. It was because of my friend holding me up and getting me back into office. I am scared for life due to this experience! I need to have blood work done once every 2-3 months because of my health. Please clean up Lab Corp! I was told the other places in different towns aren't much better. That a hell of a thing to be told! I apologies for any miss spelling and grammatical mistakes. I can barely see on my cell phone. I don't have a computer. Please read in full. If u think u could handle this establishment , be my guest read more

I would 100% recommend this location. I was hesitant to go without an appointment (I have been there before WITH an appointment) but the wait time was extremely reasonable and I had exceptional care from start to finish. The type of care provided was great, efficient, and professional. These ladies know what they're doing! read more

I usually use the Bridgewater office. Extremely efficient! Office staff is kind. Don't be intimated by a waiting room. They have a simple system to check in. Bring something to read:) Chat with the person next to you. They list your first initial and last name on screen so you can see how many folks are ahead of you. You can sit outside on a few benches, even wait in your car. Once they call your name and you show them your prescription, you go straight to the back or wait a bit longer in the waiting area. There are SEVERAL techs in the back and they are QUICK. Tip: They take walk ins and a good time is after 10am or after 12. read more

Wow, so I went there today 1-24-26. There was a line outside at 6:55 AM at least 12 people in front of me. The line went quick. I was called in less than 30 minutes in and out excellent service and execution!! FYI, I didn't have an appointment read more

I went today, Tuesday, March 7th for a routine bloodwork screening. When I walked in, I requested to go through human screening and introduction. Giving my license and medical insurance card to a human to read and confirm I am here. I was given a stern face and pointed towards the corner of the room where there is a machine that will scan both of these things. I than said, I would much rather go through this with you, a human. She shook her head no and didnt allow me to go through with this. As sad as this is, I obliged. not even 10 minutes later as I'm waiting in the waiting room, a man walks in, asks for the same request in a more demanding tone, and is than given the ability to facilitate with human to human contact. He gave her the information, license, and asked how long it will be. Im writing this review because I didn't receive the same treatment. I asked them why after and they said because I'm younger I have to use the machine. read more

This is absolutely THE MOST ridiculous set up I have ever seen. Once you are checked in, everyone just "waits" in a line, that wraps behind the check in desk. I had an 11am appointment and got here at 10:45. It's now 11:17 and I'm 8th in the line. Do NOT come to this location. I only gave it one star because giving none wasn't an option read more

Steve is amazingly kind and competent. Probably one of the few if not only redeeming qualities about this place. Everyone else looks like they hate their job and dont like you. Often they complain and seem easily irked. Joe in particular (usually at the front) can seem very annoyed. Waiting time can sometimes be a nightmare as well, and pls get that dang front kiosk fixed. I kind of dread visits here. read more

I went to 4 LabCorp locations in 2 days for my pre-employment requirements. Of all 4 ( Lawrenceville, Princeton, Somerset and Bridgewater), i had the best experience in Bridgewater. All 3 locations had the same experience, as if the employees dont want to work. They dont smile, they rush you and they are rude even for important questions. At Bridgewater, the techs are nice and do small talks even though they look busy. Sneda, drew my lab and she made me feel comfortable. I am afraid of needles but she allowed me to calm down and never rushed me. Lo and behold, she has the lightest hand too. Thank you Sneda! read more

I wish I could draw my own blood work!!!!!! I've never had a problem with this location previously, and I went in thinking that it'd be okay mid-morning on a Wednesday this time (weekends it's typically super crowded). Well...they made me wait over an hour...when I'd been fasting...and took other people who came in after me who didn't have appointments (I did)...and this is only a week after I just had laparoscopic Endometriosis Excision surgery, so I'm in pain and wearing an abdominal binder to boot. They also made another woman and her partner wait almost an hour and she was about to faint-he got up and yelled at them. I felt so bad for them. This other patient and I were simply forgotten and ignored. This place is severely understaffed and overbooked. Run for your life!!!!!!! UPDATE::: (7/31) So---Whoever took me in that day in June at this location filed my crap with the WRONG insurance company, and I've had to follow up twice so far with both my insurance as well as with LabCorp. I don't understand, I called my insurance and they told me that nothing had changed, that I should only be paying a standard copay of $20 for the same venipuncture I had drawn in February, that was drawn in June. But I don't know. They said they never received anything from LabCorp, yet LabCorp keeps saying that my insurance is ignoring their claims. Either way, I'm not paying $200 for a basic blood test that I have to have routinely done. read more

The staff were great, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. That would be a 5 star rating for staff I'm giving it a 3 for lack of cleanliness. A more thorough cleaning along with a fresh paint job would make a big difference. read more

I went here today for a blood draw. The technician who drew my blood was extremely unfriendly. She spoke only a couple of words. The floor was dirty!! What kind of lab has a filthy floor? I will never go back to this location again. When I got home, I removed the bandaid she put on. There was a lot of blood! I have a black and blue mark about the size of a nickel. This has never happened to me before!! Don't go here! read more

You couldn't ask for better service and Professionalism, all the stuff is friendly and Accommodating. Hey no one likes there blood taken but the stuff here is some of the best. read more

They are the worst, very rude and unprofessional staff. The man behind the desk should not be in customer service as he is rude and condescending. I walked into the wrong room to drop off a specimen and was yelled at by a lab tech and when I asked where the drop off bin was he points and says over there. I didn't see anything where he was pointing and asked again and he again pointed and said over there. Really you couldn't have walked me over to show me or taken it from me. I will never return to this place, very bad experience. read more

The front desk is so rude. The commanding tone made me feel very uncomfortable. There is no "please" or "thank you" in their vocabulary. The back crew threw the blood tubes to the basket. Feel like they hate people come and want to throw them out of the windows. Horrible experience. Never go back. read more

Crowded, slow, nasty. I miss my old site in Green Brook which was an easy, quick solution to getting blood drawn. I arrived for my 8 am appointment (which took me 2 weeks to book) and the waiting room was packed. I waited over 45 minutes to get my blood drawn. We were all standing in the hall waiting to be called on. This is no way to treat patients or people. The phlebotomy staff was personable and dedicated, but obviously overworked (thus the overflowing waiting areas). I'll do everything I can to not return to this site. read more

The front desk staff was simply rude, and the phlebotomists were even worse. Not only could they not find a vein, but she said "my English no good." read more

I bring my daughter every six weeks. She is a very difficult person to get blood from. We have several Lab corps by us. We drive 25 minutes to be seen here. The staff & service is outstanding. We get Modi or Z when we come. You won't be sorry! read more

I had a 12:00'appointment and arrived 15 min early like requested. They were quite busy , and I waiting another 30 min. to be taken care of, which was no big deal to me . Once inside , my boos was drawn and I was on my way. I found the employees very professional even though they were backed up and people waiting were complaining. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The staff is horrible and rude. I've been here a couple times and have yet to meet a staff member with decent customer skills. For specimen drop off or kit pick up you will be waiting a hour and that too be dealt with as a "nuisance." Very disappointing that this staff is responsible for someone's healthcare. read more

I'm always a hard stick! There was student training at their facility which poked me once, after explaining to her that usually it's very hard to get my blood she called a different tech. She was a Hispanic girl with long curly hair & she was able to get my blood in one shot! No bruising and very gentle! I will definitely be going back. The wait time is long so make sure you bring a good book to read! read more

The front desk staff is so rude and I'm not sure why they even have a job! Emma is a nasty woman how she got hired is beyond me! Lap Corp should be ashamed of themselves for hiring such vile people. I got hung up on twice and would not be told a manager or a supervisors contact info. Don't worry though I got it and I will make sure the rude staff is held accountable for their nasty demeanor and actions. Emma I didn't know it was part of your job description to hang up on clients and withhold information from them the company must be desperate if they employee people like you. read more

Thursday times are an hour off on google which really inconvenienced me when I showed up at 5 and the close at 4:30 instead of 5:30.

Unfriendly, long line, and they screwed up. Supposedly sent my results the day after but as of a month later my doctor still hasn't received them, and they were completely unhelpful with resolving the problem. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with Labcorp- it's been a continuous struggle to get my results on time or at all. I've switched to going to care station in linden or the walk in clinic in south Plainfield. It's far, but they're more reliable. read more

Had no issues was in and out in less than 10 minutes for routine lab work; only one other person in the waiting room. I'm always press for time so that worked on my favor. Staff was okay. Don't expect for a greet or customer service at this location. They have the mentality you need us and don't value you as a paying customer. read more

We had a scheduled appointment on Saturday, and I had to bring my 1 year old to get a blood test. Naturally, I was anticipating screaming, but the phelbotomists were great and were able to get the tests done relatively quickly. Since I had made an appointment weeks before, I had to wait no more than 5 minutes before I was called. They verified my insurance information quickly. It was a no hassle appointment. I highly recommend everyone to schedule an appointment before you go, otherwise the wait times are likely longer on the weekend. read more

Horrible!!!! My son looked like he was going to pass out soon after she put the needle in his arm. I told her 100x he looked like he was ready to pass out. I asked if she had any juice or anything to give him. She told me I could go get him water from the waiting room...which was like a zoo! I gave him the water, he drank it, and then his eyes rolled back in his head! I was screaming at her to do something!!!! She moved like a snail to get other people. He started having convulsions and I moved out so the other incompetent people could come into the room. Next thing he was on the floor and awake. HORRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They looked like they had never seen someone pass out before and had nothing in place to help when someone is about to pass out. She should have removed the needle at the first sign of trouble....and Inshould have insisted on it!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! read more

This location claims they do 'pediatric collections' so I went here with my 2 yr old son thinking their staff are well trained enough to take blood from 'pediatric' patients. 2 of them poked my son, both of them can't get it right. the 2nd one was the worst, not even a drop of blood came out. How incompetent! read more

I made an online reservation for an employment drug screening test at 2pm, arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, checked in with ease, sat and waited for my name to be called. After a few minutes my name was called and I was informed by a less than friendly receptionist that drug screening tests aren't performed after 2pm. I was perplexed and inquired why I was able to make an appointment for 2pm, the response given was that it's "already 2:08." Then I asked when the next available appointment was. The woman shoved a document in my face and told me to sit down and read it. It was a document outlining what would happen during the drug test. I read it, returned it and she called to the technician that he'd have another drug test. The technician retorted that the machine was already shut down for the day, but the receptionist came to my defense, "but she has an appointment." I waited for the technician to call me in, the only machine I saw was a computer, I assume that's why it took about a minute for him to be ready for me. The technician was less than thrilled to be doing my test, but I wouldn't be particularly happy if I was collecting pee samples all day either, never mind that this specific pee test started 8 minutes after the last pee test of the day is supposed to take place. I'm very grateful that they took me for my scheduled appointment and I didn't have to reschedule, but they should really edit their scheduling software to adhere to their own policies as I can't imagine I'm the first person that this has happened to. It also would've been nice to see at least one friendly face... read more
