Things have really changed since I was last here. You no longer can check in with a person at the front desk and sign up with a list.( They don't want to pay for staff and it shows.) There was only two ladies in the office which one was the phlebotomist. It took me three tries to be able to get their machine to work. A woman came in after me went to the kiosk and was able to check in on a separate machine that worked. She was then put ahead of me. I was lucky it wasn't busy when I was there. Once I finish with the kiosk someone came from the back and called my name and I had to go confirm all the information that they have at a side desk which seemed redundant. Another's thing that bothered me was the kiosk was dirty and each person has to touch it which means it's loaded with germs and if a person is sick, you have a higher chance of catching what they have. A woman by the name of Sharon who was a phlebotomist did a wonderful job taking my blood. She was very nice, and professional. I didn't feel her taking my blood, and usually have problems with my veins not this time. Sharon was quick and precise. I'm disappointed in the attitude that the office has. It seems like they don't like being there. They don't smile, and they seem like they can't wait to leave. Having a good attitude helps in keeping people who need testing calm and relaxed. There is a large waiting room, but with only two ladies in the office I can see a potential backup happening. You can park on the street, and their are some spots available in the lot. Quite a few are designated for other companies. There is only one handicapped spot for the entire building which is loaded with many businesses. When you walk in make sure you take the first elevator on the right to the first floor. You're coming in on the basement floor. You will then go to Suite 102. This place can get really really busy! You can go online and make a reservation, but you'll still have to check in with the kiosk. This place could be really good if they got these ladies more help! read more

Tech was "busy" on her computer when I asked where to put my urine sample. An iritated head nod direction -somewhere- was deemed sufficient for an answer. I sat in the chair waiting for her to finish up when my phone dinged with an incoming text. As I was expecting a message from my electrician, I took a quick peek. Apparently, this was cause for the tech to move on to the next person. In all I was there an extra half hour because of this tech with a chip on her shoulder. The customer service was appalling. I went for a drug screening as a part of a complete physical for employment. The woman at the desk wasn't friendly at all and the way they had me take the test was almost as if I was an inmate In jail. An explanation would have been nice. It was a very degrading experience. I would advise them to develop some people skills. I would not recommend this facility. read more

Have had blood work here for years and never had an issue. Went today and was in and out in ten minutes and blood draw was nearly painless

This is the worst location and service. When I got there I was presented a bill for $346 and asked for my credit card. When I asked them why they told me I was had to give it to them. I called my insurance company. Who asked me for their phone number and proceed to call. The women berated me for my insurance company calling them. Awful awful service. They refuse to give you any indication of wait time. It says on the walls that if you wait over a half hour to check in and then no one will even want to talk to you and even if you force them all they'll say is it's a bit of a wait. They are beyond rude and unhelpful. It says wait where you're comfortvake but you can only wait in the waiting room so it's false. So all their stuff is lies and they are completely unhelpful then when you finally go back they don't even know what they are doing and bruise you. Do not recommend for anything read more

The on line check in is great, I had a 10:45 appointment and arrived at the location at 10:25. While in my car in the parking lot I checked in on Labcorp's on line check in system. Five minutes after checking in I received a text that my technician was ready for me. My blood work procedure was completed in less than ten minutes and I was on my way home before my actual appointment time of 10:45. read more

Came to this office years ago, nestled in a foresty area on the outskirts of Watchung and right on the border of Warren Township. The office is located on the "first" floor which is really a the second floor and you need to take an elevator or stairs up to the place. The waiting room is spacious and clean. Most recent visit (2019 September) the place was still clean and spacious. They also added digital check-in kiosks in the waiting room seemingly to speed up the check-in process. While I was waiting it seemed like another lady had issues checking in because her license was handicapped and didn't scan properly. There are only two "front" desk workers checking people in and maybe sometimes only one. The medical professionals drawing blood know what they're doing and are fast but aren't that friendly and seem like they are tired to be doing their job. Still, they get the job done appropriately and cleanly so that's the important thing. Make sure to make your appointments online and check in via your mobile phone. So disappointed with their utterly unprofessional service. First, they never picked up my calls and the "receptionist" says she never received any calls, and the lab technician/nurse there said quite the contrary -- "there is only two of us, and you can't expect us to answer the calls". Second, they make me wait for nearly 1/2 hour, with only person ahead of me, and when it was finally my turn, they asked me to come back next week because they were about to close for the day. The office was supposed to be open until 3 PM, and they said their hours changed -- their website clearly says 3 PM closing, and nowhere does it say anything about the new hours. Third (& worst of all), they tried to charge my credit cards for the services when those services are covered 100% under my plan (I confirmed with my insurance company just before the visit). When I refused to give them my credit card, they blamed my insurance company for the "misinformation". In a way, I felt bad for the technician being there all alone -- it's a badly run business, and I will never go back to this place. I've been here for bloodwork 3 times and have left with a very bruised arm every time because of how aggressive the person drawing blood was. It felt like the needle was being ripped in and out of my arm and I bled excessively compared to times I've gotten bloodwork at other places. I am never coming back here. read more

The process that counts is smooth. Blood drawn very professionally and results were available the next day. That is great! The downside, and it is a big one, is the wait. The kiosk checkin works well but I am not sure how older folks would even see it is there. The desk is kind of manned and once you are checked in the black hole of waiting starts. It seems that booking an appointment might make it better but not by much which is weird. Assuming I come here again I will certainly do that but I will also be prepared for even that to not be on time. I had the worst experience here. Came in about 7:30 to be greeted by two Ipad check in systems. I used the one on the left which could not read my insurance information, but just said to verify it at the front desk after check in and said that my check in was complete after I finished. After 30+ minutes of waiting, I went in and asked the worker who told me to just stay waiting. A couple minutes later she said I wasn't even on the wait list because the information was incomplete and to check in again. Same results and showed her a picture of the the iPad display. She did not give an explanation or anything. After checking in for the third time on the machine on the right (which worked) it finally checked us in but put us all the way at the end of the check in waitlist. An hour later, still waiting in the waiting area with no apology for the wait. Not to mention there is still no sign on the non working machine. The lady behind the counter was also very rude when dealing with the whole situation Update: thirty minutes later still here and waiting. Told 5+ people to use the other machine. In the past I have been taken care of very quickly . I always book an appointment to make sure I don't have to wait . Today my appointment was 8:00. I walked into a packed waiting room . Many people didn't have appointments and had already been waiting an hour. I checked in at the kiosk and it said I had a 12:00 minute wait . Not true I waited 45 minutes to get my blood drawn . Apparently they overbooked the appointments ( online) and for every time slot ,3appointments are scheduled. Many people left and went down the street to Quest labs . We took my 7month old grandson for blood work. The two lab technician were inept. They had the needle in his arm and were fishing around to find his vein. Lab Corp should have technicians that know how to draw blood on babies or not schedule these appointments. It was extremely stressful situation to begin with and they made it even worse. Hours later we are still stressed out over this experience. Would never go there for blood work. They don't even deserve one star. read more

Long Wait time! I made an appointment online for 8:15am thinking that it would save me a spot and not have to wait too long. Wrong! the waiting room was packed. I waited 1hour and 15 minutes. People were complaining that Labcorp overbooked. The technician told me Friday's were especially busy. Don't know if I should believe this or that they have a horrible online booking system. Although the staff was very competent and courteous,( I hope, let's see if my labwork comes back correct) they seem understaffed for the amount of people they book. Only one receptionist and maybe 2 technicians in the back to draw blood. The kiosk check-in is easy to use, you would think that would speed things up. This is a disappointingly disorganized system. Sitting here waiting only two patients ahead of me... I finally get called in to check in and they send me to sit in any empty room.... there are none. While I'm awkwardly lingering, a woman in her late 70s walks in needing help with the sign in kiosk ... the front desk nurse tells her to wait in the nastiest way but don't worry another lingering patient helped her LOL it is now almost 11am and not an empty room in sight I wish they would be more efficient. if you have time to wait then sure, but save yourself the trouble and go to a different location. Attention Labcorp Corporate: This location needs to be staffed by 3 people! Two people CANNOT be expected to deal with check in, payment, computer problems, blood draw and labwork for a waiting room full of people. I have always said that this is a 5 star location (Watchung). There used to be 3 staff members. While the staff was professional with wonderful attitudes, it is very unrealistic to have only 2 people doing all of these tasks for such volume! read more

I had to get blood work done. My veins collapse easily. It is very hard to stick my veins. The ladies that worked there were very understanding & compassionate. She listened to me & took her time. There were no problems at all. I would go back to them any time that I need blood work done. The facility is very clean as well. All in all, a very good experience. read more
