HORRIBLE! If I can give this place zero stars then I would. This is my third (and last) time coming to this place. The attitude of the front desk person is absolutely awful- just plain nasty and for no reason at all! Don't get me started on the wait time, they literally have one technician and one front desk person- that's it! Two out of the three times I've been here I've scheduled an appointment and still waited an hour. It's already stressful enough to get lab work done, the stress of unprofessional and rude staff on top of it is unnecessary! read more

Still sitting in labcorp after sitting here for 45 minutes. I walked in and immediately signed in. No one spoke to me. I was in the waiting area with 2 other men. After about 35 minutes I walked up to the desk and the lady told me she would not be helping me until she got off her lunch break and there was only one person working. I sat for 10 more minutes and she calls me up to the desk and then told me she would not be able to use the email my dr had sent them for the lab order. She said it must be faxed. That would have been great information to know 45 minutes ago! I call my dr and they faxed over the forms. Geez get me outta this place. Trust me don't come to this lab corp. goths extra 20 minutes and go to the one in Chevy Chase. It will probably end up saving you time. read more

Well, I do like that you can make an appt. Now my experience has been that they take you about 15 min after your scheduled time. The one nurse who calls names out is kind of hard to understand what name she's saying, but shes also very nice! She does a good job with the blood draws too. The bad - the parking lot!!!! Currently, they are doing construction or something in the parking lot, taking up lots of the parking spaces, making it a nightmare to find a spot. People are like vultures, following people to their car to get their spot, and are SO aggressive, and will fight for the spot. Very scary parking lot. AND you have to pay!! Its $2 for up for 1 or 2 hours (dont remember the time - just know ive paid $2 for both times Ive been there)...I dont think I'll be returning to this location, due to the parking lot! read more

Do not go to this Lab Corp location! The staff there are very uncaring and unwilling to help. I went there for a time-sensitive blood test. I had a paperwork issue (admittedly my fault) and the staff made no effort to help me so I could have the test done. The technician actually said to me, "I guess you're not having it done today" in response to my request to how we could fix the situation. I have been to the Lab Corp in Rockville on Medical Center Drive and it is a much better run location. Stay away from the one on Fernwood Road! read more

Always such a long wait here appointment or not. Poor communication of wait times. Poor attentiveness. They need more techs and some hustle.

At 9:30am on a Friday the wait was an hour! There was no one at the front desk, and when someone eventually did arrive, they were very unhelpful. Unfortunately, this is the only convenient place that my insurance takes.. read more

Don't bother coming here on a saturday unless you have to. Hopefully labcorp is saving a ton of money only having two people working here during the four hours they bother to have this location open at a time that doesn't require you to take off work. Even if you're just going to drop something off, you're going to wait. For a long time. Also, both times I've been here, the employees seemed pissed off, probably because they're overworked. Ridiculous. read more

Told technician that my 14-year-old was nervous about his first blood draw. She said to him, "Don't be a baby." Uh, ADULTS have needle phobias too. Not helpful. Other staff were pleasant and appointment was on time. read more

Probably been going to LabCorp locations for about 8 years. Getting blood drawn here hurt worse than any other place I can remember. It felt like the needle went through my vein. Normal amount of pain at first and then much worse as it kept going. My arm appears to have stopped bleeding which is awesome. Hope I don't have any complications. The person who took my blood was working the desk too and seemed to be having a really bad day. Don't take it out on the patients!! read more

I'm not exactly a fan of getting blood tests - but this location of LabCorp was terrific today. I had an appointment, but no one was in the waiting room - I was in and out in less than 15 minutes (which meant free parking too), and the two women there - the receptionist and the phlebotomist were friendly, efficient, and professional. read more

Damn, not sure what's up with then other reviews but I had a fantastic experience today with my 2 year old son. I was super nervous(way more than my little one who wasn't at all) and the phlebotomist made me feel really at east. She found my son's vein really easily and he didn't even flinch when she poked him. In and out in 15 minutes, and right before closing at that. Definitely would come back! Thanks for everything ya'll. read more

The front desk staff are rude and incompetent. They can't get anyone's name right or find the doctors' orders and then act as if the customers are being difficult, going so far as to roll their eyes and loudly lecture anyone who asks a question. I have suffered through this twice now and will never go back. Making an appointment seems to have no bearing on wait times. The one star is for the second phlebotomist, the one who actually helped me after the first one walked away. read more

Terrible experience. Been there many times and it keeps getting worse. This was my last time. Don't pay attention to patients. Very rude as if they are doing you a favor. Also my veins are perfect, never had an issue and last time they had to draw blood from both arms because she screwed up on the 1st one. I have black and blue on both arms. I don't recommend anyone going there. read more

Don't get the bad reviews from other posts because I always have a good experience at this lab. Maybe there are different people working there on Saturday? I'm fortunate enough to not have to go on Saturdays because I don't work on Friday. read more

Came in an hour before closing. Smooth sign in, then you wait to be called to check in. You present your insurance (if you have it) and testing orders from your doctor. Maybe the people who work here are a bit on edge, but was helped professionally and got my tests done quickly. I was impressed with the carefulness of the tech who drew my blood and how fast it was done. Just a note for anyone getting the standard h. pylori breath test that it has a artificial lemonade flavored solution they mix for you to drink. It has sugar substitute in it that can be very gut upsetting if you have IBS or food allergies. It contains aspartame (artificial sweetener) mannitol (sweetener often used in chewable gum) and citric acid (very acidic sour substance usually from corn). At the least, be prepared to feel bad. At best, make sure your doctor knows this before ordering the breath test. If you have many, many severe allergies I would reconsider the test altogether as being too risky. Severe allergic reactions have been reported to the drink solution. There will definitely be a wait even if you have an appointment, just bring something to read and it's fine. read more

The lab was fine, but they were really stingy with information. They said they would be with me "shortly". I asked for a time estimate and they said they could not give me one. I then asked if they could let me know if I was just waiting for the number of people on the sign up sheet (3 names) or whether everyone in the room was getting blood work done (there were 15 people in the room). They again wouldn't answer me. Other than that they were very pleasant and efficient and easy to work with. My suggestion to them is that if they cannot give a time, just let you know the process, (e.g. there are 2 people ahead of you but if more people come in with appointments we see them first). "We'll get to you as soon as we can" is not informative and does not let people do their research on whether to come back another time. read more

Worst labcorp ever, worse customer service. The ladies in the front desk totally a mess.

I went to the location on Fernwood in Bethesda. I was in and out within the time allotted for free parking (15 mins). Everyone I encountered was friendly and efficient. This is not the service I am used to having at the downtown locations, which seem to be much busier. PS I was a walk-in. read more

Staff was actually rude. Not just a lack of customer service, rude.

Front desk is terrible. I would rate a zero if I could. No understanding that this is a service business. The blood draw was fine but there are other labs who can do that and are not aggravating to deal with. I will never go back. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I had an appointment and no one else was there waiting but the person at the desk did not see me. Then the tech could not get enough blood from one arm, which got a small bruise, so then she used the back of my other arm and I have a bruise the size of a baseball. And both draws hurt badly. Plus the blood came too slow so she said "shhh" and mixed two vials together, saying she was not supposed to. Never going back! read more

This location does not honor appointments. First come first serve basis. Waited for 50 minutes after my appointment time to finally be called in. Poorly managed. read more

This Labcorp location in Behtesda is the worst lab I have ever been to in my life. The staff are rude and unprofessional. I called to check if a doctor's order had come in, they would not tell me because they were "busy with customers". I went in, in person, and they told me there was no order for me. I asked my physician to resend the order and called labcorp again to check if it arrived. They still gave me the same answer, "too busy with customers, call back in 30 min". I call back, Tonya picks up, says 'one moment" then hangs up on me. I call a 3rd time and ask for the manager, she puts me on hold indefinitely. This is the worst experience I have ever had and I will never go back again. I'm going to have to ask my physician to send the order somewhere else! read more

Went to Lab Corp, Harford County, Md. for random urinalysis. Staff was rude, uncaring. Asked me if I had a full bladder. Asked for my Social Security number. Attendant could not answer me when I asked her why they needed my SS #. When I refused to give number she accused me of having an "attitude". Worst personal experience with a company that has to deal with the public. When I was leaving attendant stated sarcasticlly, I hope you have a better day... total lack of courtesy. Where do they get their training? read more

Getting results from the website is difficult and takes too much time. I suspect that this "consumer feature" is just a ploy to lock people into their system and discourage use of their competitors. read more

Just got back on a Saturday from the Bethesda labcorp. I went there thinking I'll have to wait a looong time and it's going to suck since I didn't have an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised that I was seen in under an hour, the staff was very pleasant and super efficient. The waiting room was packed but they kept moving people through. I've been to other labcorps in DC and have had horrible experiences even with an appointment. I think I'll be going to the Bethesda from now on. read more

The people at the front desk were very rude and condescending. Try to avoid this location!

I use this lab all the time and the staff is usually very friendly. New face there today and he was condescending and had an attitude. Walked around complaining about someone misplacing something and then made a catty remark when I declined to leave my credit card number. The technician was great though as usual so I won't let one bag apple spoil the whole bunch. read more

This place is BEYOND unprofessional, the "ladies" at the front desk are RUDE and to top it off they LOST my sample and still billed my insurance company! I now have to go to another location to get my blood work done again. Please avoid this place if you can. read more

Even with an appointment, they are understaffed and take too long. They also are disorganized, due I assume to being understaffed and not having their processes standardized. Looks early morning and end of the day are bad times to go. Their friendliness is variable, but not bad. read more
