Don't come here, there's only ONE person working ! People with appointments are LATE & those who are on standby get pushed down the line waiting for more than 2 hours ! So it doesn't matter to those with appointments regardless if they are late they will still get in. Someone was waiting for 2 hours and they kept getting pushed by down by appointments people who are late and even those with appointments getting pushed down as well. Be prepared to wait for hours if you don't have an appointment and sadly even if you make an appointment they are Booked for making an appointment. Which is why I had to do walk in. This place needs to have more staff available. Having one person work can be stressful on them. It's extremely unfair to those who are walk-in and can't schedule because of being booked out and they wait hours. read more

This location is extremely busy because of nearby closures and staffing challenges. The staff are managing an extremely high caseload of customers along with unpredictable walk-ins. Wait times are very long. However, phlobotomists Jay and Ruth were friendly and upbeat. I hope Quest stops overbooking their schedules - it's not fair to the patients or the staff and it could become a safety hazard. The staff deserve to be recognized for their efforts. read more

This location closes at 4pm. They turned us away at 3:45pm. Apparently if you have kids that need bloodwork you will need to pull them out of school early because the phlebotomist present on 11/10/25 said that they only accept urine drop offs this late in the day. I'm actually disgusted. read more

I normally only go to the Shady Grove location because the Rockledge one requires appointments. My new employer forced me to go here to do pre employment eScreen DS Collection. I wouldn't have otherwise come here because of paid parking too. I made the appointment online and arrived on time for check in. Parking was onerous and far away. The appointment wasn't on time and I kept hearing door banging once taken inside. The only reason why I gave a 3 instead of 1 star is because of Ruth, the MT who works there. She is lovely and thorough. As a person who also works lab, I can definitely understand the frustration of working alone in the facility. More appalling was the behaviors of patients in the waiting room. Golly could they not stop banging on the doors! It's one pt at a time with appointments for pt safety. Parking ended up costing me $4 for less than 30 minutes. I would not return unless I have to. read more

Very difficult to deal with - no fax or email that works. in addition to the written order, they require information such as some number that even when provided by my doctor, they don't recognize. After keeping my physician's office on the line for 20 minutes, was still unable to get a simple CBC done. read more

AWFUL CARE. I needed to get bloodwork done before my cardiologist appointment. My cardiologist gave me a lab order to this place. I scheduled my appointment which was the easiest part. I came and the parking lot was so packed. It took over 15 minutes to find a spot because people just sit in their cars hogging spots. When I went into the building they canceled my appointment. I talked to the woman there and she had no care and said they were behind. Maybe they should try getting designated parking spots because having an appointment canceled because theres no parking for guests is pretty ridiculous especially when its regarding someone's health. read more

* WARNING: LOCATION CLOSED* I made an appt online a week before for a morning slot, received a confirmation email but when I arrived, the doors were locked. There was no sign, no notice, no phone number, nothing. I waited 15 minutes, until almost 9am but no one showed up. Another patient was there too. clearly this location has closed but they give no warning to patients. When you try to call the main number, there is no extension to speak to human. This is extremely unprofessional and discourteous, especially to those who made an appt and cannot wait to go another location. I have never seen this happen with a medical office before. I visited there for the first time yesterday and had a very positive experience! The location was easy to find. The check-in kiosk was very quick and intuitive. I had an appointment, but the lobby was completely empty anyway, so I only had to wait a minute or so (maybe less). The technician was extremely polite and he finished the whole thing in just a few minutes! I traveled there by bicycle, so navigating and parking was a breeze, but drivers may have a little bit of a delay with the medical complex's entry gates and finding a spot to park...so I advise getting there 10 minutes early if you drive. read more

PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR TESTS. It was 80 degrees inside the tiny, unventilated, un-air-conditioned waiting room with the sun beating through the windows. There is no water fountain for customers. There weren't even enough chairs for everyone who was waiting! Several elderly patients were visibly distressed with the heat. I had a pre-arranged, 10:30 appointment and considered myself lucky that I only waited 20 minutes in this hell-hole to be seen for my bloodwork. My phlebotomist was very nice and very skilled, but he appeared to be the only employee working. I have been a longtime Quest customer but as of this last visit, I am done. read more

Though it is now a good idea to make an appointment, I was a walk-in and chose to wait. It has been sometime since I was there but found nothing has changed when you walk in, sit down, wait for the technician to bring up your order, double check everything to make certain there are no questions about the order; checking with me, making certain I am who I am, before starting the procedure. This is my go-to test lab for blood work. The check in process is completely automated. There is a very hard-working gal in there by her lonesome who does a wonderful job and is very conversational. She does an excellent job with blood tests, urine tests, etc. She is fast but friendly, and very kind and considerate. I love our conversations about coffee. Would give negative stars if I could. Made an appointment online. Waited 30 minutes past that appointment and still waiting. No employees present in managing the waiting room lobby. Nobody taking temperature despite a sign on the door stating it as a procedure. Cramped entry where it is impossible to social distance as that's where the check in kiosk is located, AVOID. Edit: editing review to be two stars due to the kind folks who work there. To clarify temperature was taken before going back to the screening area but not prior to entering the lobby. A few improvements I may suggest to the owner or managers at Quest. 1) Reorganize the layout of the lobby so that the checkin kiosk is not right beside the entrance. Any backup or line here creates issues for folks entering. 2) More staff. There are ALOT of people going through this facility surely you could afford to install some plexiglass barriers at the front check in counter and have a full time person directing traffic in the lobby itself. 3) Review your online appointment procedures. Despite setting up an online appointment and using the QR code to check in, when my appointment came no text was sent. I had to go back in and check in as a walk-in as rescanning my QR code said no appointment was found. read more

Cannot make an appointment online and the phone number makes you choose a bunch of automated options to get to an employee and then it just hangs up on you. They state you need an appointment to come in. I need to take a urinalysis for a very important job. This is unnecessary stress. Do better. read more

I got seen in a pretty good amount of time, didn't have an issue with check in but the guy who took my blood was kind of rude when I asked questions and not personable at all. He didn't let me use my preferred arm and was obviously just trying to do the job as quickly as possible even though there was no one in the waiting room. Lastly, the parking lot is a mess. Since the building is in an office complex you have to get a ticket and pay at least $4 for parking! Only 0-15 minutes is free parking. I looked in the office for anything to validate but saw nothing. I have always gone to Quest but at another location and have had an amazing experience. Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience. It was a ridiculously long wait. There are only supposed to be four people in the lobby which is great. They give you the option to wait outside and receive a text message when to come back in. I chose that option because the waiting area already had more than 4 people waiting. When I got my text to come back in, there was no employees there so I knocked on one of the 2 doors. No one answered. When they did come out they were calling names, none of which were mine. So then I had to wait again, this time inside with 5 other people waiting. So it was as if I was just a walkin. Everyone sitting in the lobby was taken back before I was. Worst experience ever I had today. By reading comments I definitely agree that this place has one of the worst customer service. I went in today to get my blood drawn because I haven't been feeling well with my blood pressure and my heart rate being so high, so my doctor requested alot of blood work for me. When I arrived I had a Asian older man take my temperature and all was good. When you walk in he was set up to the left, so he went into his area and asked for my last name, I gave it to him and date a birth and he told me "Your not in the system call your doctor to fax the paperwork", he then walked across from his station where they have all the blood and urine they've collected. He was there with another lady tagging things, while that was happening I called my doctor's office and the front desk told me to ask the person to look me up by my other last name, so I said to this man "Excuse me Sir the doctor office is saying if you could look me up by my other last name", he completely ignored me and continued to do what he was doing, so I'm standing there waiting for him to say something but nothing mind you I'm still on the phone with my doctor's office, I gave it 2 to 3 minutes and said again to him "Excuse me Sir the doctor office is saying if you could look me up by my other last name", he then looks at me and raises his voice and tells me "Don't you see I'm busy here, you need to wait" Wow completely shocked, and then he just decides that he is going to look up my information and threw his mask and was maskless while passing by me. He yelled "What is your last name" and I said there is no way I am going to let you take my blood. I completely had a nervous breakdown, cried and almost fainted and I did not let him draw my blood or anything. I started to walk out crying and shaking and other people that worked there came out and told me to calm down and have seat plus gave me water. There was one lady in particular that was super compassion and she was pregnant, it took me almost 30 minutes until I calmed down and that was due to the lady who worked that was pregnant. She ended up taking my blood and that's only because she calmed me down. I will tell you that man was no where to be found but no one would give me his name. I will say that guy was rude, disrespectful and reckless for taking off his mask and If I get COVID from this person because he decided to be reckless and not have any type of customer service, I'll make sure to sue Quest. Oh and another thing, they better not take 2 weeks or more for my results. read more

Had an appointment. Waited an hour. In that hour, I saw the following: no one ever at the receptionist desk, people lining the waiting room, angry, rolling their eyes, looking around at each other, aghast at the lack of service. In the hour, I saw about three people called back to get their blood taken. The staff member who called people back took their paperwork without ever saying "hello" or making eye contact. Who knows what they were doing back there. It sure wasn't anything that could be called "efficient." Finally, I left in disgust. Take the other 1-star reviews seriously. I'm sure that if Yelp allowed minus a million stars, this place would get it. Don't reward this horror show with your business, unless you happen to be a director of horror movies. If that's the case, look no further. You won't even need to hire any "walking dead" extras. They're already here. read more

Faster than I expected, this Quest location got my insurance, entered the Doctor in their computer and got my out all in 15 minutes since it was appointment only location, and I was the second person there. I will use again when I have bloodwork. read more

UPDATE 3hours later. Appointment success. Hey, maybe the machine had not yet had Monday a.m. coffee. Worked fine FOURTH ATTEMPT. No appointment POSSIBLE! Quest was designated as the lab by hospital, so no choice. Auto-phone system is designed to fail. All combinations of answers (even "first available") yield "Sorry we are having tech issues, please call back later". Machine mentions sev times that "walk-ins are always welcome." I get the clue. Make everyone a walk-in, but deny it. We are off to a bad start. read more

Still haven't improved much from my last visit. Still extremely slow. They open at 8am and you have 4 to 5 people in the office and no one has come out to grab anyone yet. It's 8:30am and they are not very efficient at all or they just don't value other people's time. They need to come to work ready at 8AM to get people in and out quickly as possible. They are currently discussing tv shows and laughing and chatting. How about coming to get one of your 5 patients you have waiting and discuss tv shows on your lunch break. While the technIcians are helpful and professional the system is not customer oriented and lacking consistent protocols and standards. I had to go to the office three times to finallY get blood drawn. There is no way to validate before visit if they received doctor's orders. Once you get their the technicians will not call the doctor and require the customer to call and resolve. TechnIcians all give a different way to resolve matters when they do not have the required orders. I went three times to give blood to be told each time they didn't have the order. Was told be doctor three time they had repeatedly sent orders. The system was so bad even the technicians asked me to complain to their management because their Quest system is simply "broken". This is the fourth time in a one year period that I have had problems. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. My experience having my blood taken was fine but the results have still not been provided and it's been two weeks! I literally drove to the testing site to get info because could get info any other way (their phone mailbox was full, endless voicemail system untimely just telling me the hours of the clinic, etc). Once back there, they told me they don't have any results at that site and gave me a Baltimore # to call. That was helpful, but what a mess. And calling that number is still difficult - and I'm sill waiting. Meanwhile, the results are supposed to be automatically sent to my doctor! read more

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I've ever dealt with in my life. I will NEVER walk into this place again. The woman at the front desk is unbelievably nasty and rude. I probably should have walked out when I first entered and saw an argument between her and another customer (where the customer was at first polite but understandably getting more irate at how she was being treated). The argument ended with great frustration because their fax machine isn't working and so they aren't able to get anything faxed to them - super helpful when you're a lab and many doctors offices still fax things these days. I bumped into her outside after and she was still clearly pissed, mentioning to me she was about to call Quest and file a formal complaint - something I may do myself. I was immediately told that they wouldn't accept my script because it was missing a diagnoses code. Ok, well I already know my doctor won't be able to quickly fax you a new one, but let me give them a call. I call the doctor - they basically insinuate that Quest is being lazy because the diagnoses is WRITTEN on the script and that any lab can look up the code. (Something my dad, a physician, verified.) They gave me the code just in case. The woman remains rude and argumentative threatening that she'll go through with the procedure but that my insurance might not cover it without the code. Lady, I have the code - but apparently she cannot verbally receive it and enter it in. Meanwhile, somebody in the waiting room is giving me the eyeroll about what is going on. I could tell she was just as annoyed at whatever her conversation was with the front desk as well. Super funny - I went straight to another lab and they did the blood work, no arguments about a missing code :) Quest - you need to get rid of this woman stat. She is awful, lazy, mistreating people, and should not be a face of your business. read more

Worst customer service experience I have ever had at a lab. Only one technician and she came in late. The waiting room was filled with people. I had an 8:30 appointment and finally got seen at 9:20, and only because I finally asked the one technician whether she was actually honoring appointments. There was no one to greet patients. No one to communicate with patients. Only one poor technician in the entire lab! Plus everyone's parking costs were doubled because we had to wait so long. I will avoid this place at all costs. Quest should be ashamed of themselves for such poor management. I can see that these complaints go back years. They make no effort to improve. read more

I get really anxious about blood draws and have fainted more than once. The phlebotomist at my doctor's office took 6 sticks to get me two years ago. It was so bad that I skipped my bloodwork last year. This year, the phlebotomist at my doctor's office tried twice and failed, and told me to come back and try again. I asked my doctor for a paper order that I could take to a different lab, and decided to try Quest since I drive past there all the time. I made an appointment and was the only person in the office. Someone came to get me after less than three minutes, and efficiently entered my paper order into the computer. I explained that I'm a fainter and am least likely to faint if I don't look and if it is over fast. I swear the guy got all three vials of blood in under 10 seconds. He talked to me the whole time and I had no issues. I was glad he was able to get my blood with a normal needle, because less-skilled phlebotomists will use a pediatric needle on me, and then it takes longer, and I'm more likely to faint. I would definitely come back, but I'm hoping I won't need blood draws for a while. read more

Do not go here. They don't take walk ins during Covid but you can't know that without going there- they're whole phone system is automated with no way of speaking to someone. I then made an appointment and the office was locked with no one there. Two other people came by and said they had made appointments and there wasn't anyone in the office either. Go to LabCorp instead, they take all major insurance and are right around the corner, took me right in (Camalier building room 300) Never using Quest again. read more

Went for a Covid-19 antibody test. Clean, efficient, polite, and skilled. Hand sanitize readily available as soon as you walk in the door. Screen in waiting room with your approximate waiting time on screen. Made an appointment and only reason I was seen 10 minutes later than my appointment time was because the staff was taking time with the patient before me who was having an issue. Overall, they run an excellent lab and would have no issue whatsoever about visiting again. I work in the healthcare field and would recommend this facility to family and friends. read more

I didn't quite believe the negative reviews about other locations. I should have. I didn't have a big wait but the people who work here are abrupt and rude. They seemed put out by any questions about getting the results as well as generally hostile to their clients. I just hope there are no issues getting the results. All I had to do was drop off a specimen. You'd think that would be simple and fast. But no. First you have to sign in on their screen and then wait behind patients needing procedures. There was just one patient ahead of me. I waited and waited, then dashed out to the car. Returned in less than three minutes ... and the door was locked. The sign on the door says closed for lunch from 12 to 1, but it was only 11:53. Knocked and knocked, but no answer. Tried calling, but it's just a recording. I'm taking my specimen to another lab and am never going back. read more
