Honestly, I saw the reviews and was a bit scared to come to this Labcorp, but it was the closest location to me and I figured I'd roll the dice. I experienced none of the issues a lot of folks noted. Further, I found the staff friendly, easy to interact with, and generally pleasant. I tried to book an appointment on-line, however, they had no open slots but could accept walk-ins. I had a light schedule so I figured why not, as I only needed a blood draw for a routine check-up. There were a few folks ahead of me, but I didn't feel like I waited that long, maybe 15ish minutes. There is plenty of parking in the back. The office itself has a rather small footprint and is on the middle floor. Signage to find it from other floors is a bit light, but security can point you in the right direction if necessary. read more

There is no excuse for this attitude toward clientele who come for a service. Staph here access that you're coming here and asking for a handout, not a paid healthcare service. Whatever is going on it shouldn't be taken out on innocent patients whose doctors have sent them. I will not go back there if I can possibly help it. A little tricky to find but I blame Google maps for that (it took me to Citizens Bank the first time???). It also looked like the usual entrance/parking lot was closed for construction which also rerouted me. Because I got lost and was circling the area, I was about 20 minutes late to my appointment and knew I would be a "walk in" at that point. They were very nice about it and I got lucky that there was maybe only one other person in the waiting area at the time. I have notoriously tiny veins. I'm usually in a place for 20 minutes and it takes 5 tries minimum. I am typically bruised by the end of it all over my arms (which isn't their fault). But this tech was magical! I warned her and did my usual speech. But she got it in ONE try. I was done within like 4 minutes. Didn't even have to use my hand for blood, which is awful if they hit the bone. Anyway, leave with extra time unlike me. Because you will probably get confused and lost in the area. Will def be coming here for all bloodwork. And thank you to their team for being so kind when I was late. I was stressed and embarrassed about it and had to force myself to go in! read more

I recently visited this facility, and I can see why it has become so popular! Even when it's bustling with activity, the staff manages to keep things moving smoothly. I typically opt for walk-in service, and I've never felt like I had to wait too long, which is a huge plus. One standout for me has been Tierra. She's soft-spoken and has a calm demeanor that instantly puts me at ease. I have notoriously small veins that like to play hide and seek, making bloodwork a bit of a challenge for me. However, Tierra is always gentle and skilled, managing to get what she needs in just one stick. That's a game-changer for someone like me! I have to praise the staff at the Bala Cynwyd lab corp. I've been there twice in the past month and the level of efficiency and kindness of the staff there is incredible. Even with the heavy volume of patients, the staff is so pleasant and I was in and out in 7 mins the first visit. My second visit was in error of mine and I wasn't even scheduled at that office. The woman at the desk was extremely proficient at getting me in and out of there quickly in spite of my mistake. The phlebotomist I had was so sweet and so good !! I felt nothing. Posted hours on Saturday were 7am to 11am. I arrived at 10:30am and the door was locked. I knocked but no one came to the door. There were several patients sitting in the waiting area. There was also a few lab technicians sitting in the back behind another glass window inside waving at me but I could not hear through the glass. I waited 5 minutes and left. If they were closing early, they should have posted something on the door or on their website. Someone should have walked over to the door to tell me they were closed. So rude and inconsiderate. read more

I was skeptical bc of the reviews but I had an easy, pleasant experience! I didn't have an appointment and just walked in and was hoping I didn't have to wait long. This LabCorp is awful. I really don't have much to say about it. Even with an appointment they were extremely late taking me in. I'm guessing they were understaffed with COVID which I will excuse. The place just seemed not as clean as it should for a place that draws bloodily fluids. Also, the woman misplaced my paperwork for a bit and I was pretty annoyed that someone could have my information. I really just wouldn't return to this location. read more

The office in general is very hard to find. But the staff memebers make the experience even worse. They're rude, unhelpful and act like you're a complete waste of time. Their self check in kiosk was broken and there was no one at the front desk. I arrived on time but because of technical difficulties they didn't check me in until almost 30 minutes later. This seemingly simple process was made a baffling ordeal, courtesy of the receptionist on duty (I didn't catch her name, but my appointment was on a Saturday morning). Good lord, someone please sign her up for customer-service training! My husband and I arrived and attempted to sign in. I realized I had made an error on the sheet and foolishly crossed it out. This lady screamed at me, "You are NOT allowed to cross out anything. This is a LEGAL DOCUMENT!" When it came time for my husband's turn, a staff person called his name and he walked back. Just then, the receptionist yelled--for the whole world to hear--"Do NOT send him back! Bring him back out!" My husband had already been seated at the intake desk, when he was asked to leave. In his place was a lady, who had come in after us. No explanation, no apology. That's just the gist of it. The front of the house is a true nightmare. read more

This lab is located on the bottom floor of a professional building (behind Sacs 5th ave). It is discrete but can be found easily. Minus one BC there is no formal receptionist and seems like there is no one here but once they realize they have a patient the service is prompt. Save yourself if you can. If there are younger women at the front desk click those heels and go home. What is consistent is that the two older women are fantastic, detail driven and efficient. The younger women at the front desk is a bad sign. I've worked for the federal government and had blue cross blue shield for years now and never more than a $40 copayment and I got a bill for $900. The ladies didn't put the correct codes in. I now understand as they were on their phones and talking the entire time they had a full office that this is more of a likelihood than a mistake. read more

The hours for this facility are listed incorrectly on their own website and virtually any other website you would go to. Be very cautious before you attempt to access their services unless you enjoy driving and the bucolic pasturelands of Newark Delaware. They have a poorly written paper sign taped Over their hours suggesting a reduced schedule. For an organization that size, one would expect higher degree of professionalism. I am not overly sure I would have any intention of allowing anyone from this group stick a needle in Me. Please people update your hours. A lot of folks the travel to you for blood tests are not in good shape anyway. Don't torture them with needless and wasted and unproductive travel time. Unacceptable new law in professional standards from an organization that did not have a very high bar to cross to start with. Robin at reception is rude & disdainful. She keeps taking the sign-in clipboard behind glass partition while sniping at people to sign in. She took a woman who was late 2 hours for her appointment at 12:30 before me with an appointment at 2:30. Lied on documentation when I walked in that morning at 9:20 by insisting she called for me at 9:15. Doesn't wear a nametag & resisted giving me her name (got it from manager). Shouts at manager (while she is taking blood) from another room "where's my clipboard?!" Appointments are consistently taken late, no matter the time of day & Robin is source of unprofessional & disdainful atmosphere. read more

When finally getting someone's attention by knocking on the door and glass, regarding what to do the person far behind the glass just pointed - indicating another kiosk was in the corner behind me. (I don't have eyes in the back of my head.) The staff make the experience even worse with every step. They're rude, unhelpful and act like you're a complete waste of time and inconvenience - complaining they've too much to do and "I'll get to you when I get to you". There were 5 people in the waiting room over one hour 10 minutes before anything was said to us. Not a single word shared or exchanged with people in the waiting room. If this lab work did not NEED to be done that day, I would have walked out like two other did. While it is hard to believe this kind of 'service', lack of communication and frankly rudeness is so acceptable - it must be, as I've emailed and phoned Labcorp to share the experience and heard back... crickets. I use this lapcorp location all the time and have been happy with the location and staff. However today the staff decided to close 30 minutes early because they want to leave at exactly 11am. They did not put any notice up and when questioned, all they said was driver will be there at 11 and can't wait. They eventually let the group of us waiting in but just disappointed that they decided to unilaterally do it against lapcorp procedures and customers. If they want to leave at 11 then they should change hrs to 7am to 10:30am. I am still given them 4 stars because the staff are nice and place is clean. It is also very convenient for me. Was planning on going to this place this morning. Called because I was having trouble finding the building. Called the front desk to ask what is the name of the building and the receptionist answers with an attitude, then hangs up the phone. I call back and the phone goes straight to voicemail. They stated you had to be older than 18 to get a blood test, even though I'm 18 and no longer a minor. They stated that I need a legal guardian, however no other medical offices/labs require an 18 year old to have a legal guardian present read more

Robin at the reception desk should be Fired!!!!! She has no business working with the public let alone in the medical field. She was rude to me when I arrived at 11:15, as the maps website stated they close at noon. She proceeded to talk 'at' me from behind the glass, way across the room. When I motioned to her to come to the door she proceeded to point at the door sign that said 7-11. I could not get a word in edgewise & when she walked away she proceeded to talk about me to the staff & others in the waiting area. I motioned her back, asked for her name, she refused to give it to (that's a sign of guilt), sent the coordinator to the door while she continued to rant about me. This is just not front office behavior!!! She should be working behind the scene & not with people. I would not go back to this location until she is gone! read more

This is a review for Labcorp in Drexel Hill. My entire experience was simply terrible. The folks at the blood draw facility did not know what they were doing. Two of them had to argue among themselves as to what tests to perform (It said it on the sheet from my doc). Then they went on to discuss among themselves as to what samples had to be refrigerated and also a story about how the last person why did the test I did had to redo it! That is just the beginning. Hearing all this left me paranoid and I asked them if they were clear on what they were doing...they said yes. A week later the results come in and they missed performing one of the tests. I was told it was ordered later which is not the case because I went to their facility only once. No one wants to take responsibility for the mix up. Their response is you cannot get tests done overnight without acknowledging any wrong doing on their end despite admitting that they did not do all the tests. I would not go there or to any labcorp facility. read more
