Prepare for a 1-3 hour wait IN THE LOBBY. Do NOT leave the lobby, lesson learned. I was in the hallway for 5 minutes and apparently missed my name being called and had to wait another two hours. Schedule an appointment at goodyear location months ago. Received confirmation email and reminder text the day before. Showed up for the appointment and found a sign on the door that read, "Location permanently closed." Called customer service. Tiffany told me i would receive a phince call from. Someone in administration by end of day. 52 hours later, I am still waiting on that phone call. Customer service hung up on the 3 times and then left me on perpetual hold another 3 times. They refuse to let me speak to a supervisor and instead keep changing the timeliness for someone to call me back. First it was end of day, then 24 hours and then an additional 24 hours. Labcorp closed the site without telling anyone a month ago and sent conformation od the appointment the day before the appointment. I did what I was supposed to do and made my appointment months ago to ensure I would have the results before my doctor appointment. Labcorp offered no help and left me on my own to solve the problem. Went to Avondale office and was I still told I would be treated as a walking with a 3 to 4 hour wait. I explained the situation at the front desk and was told "It's not our problem." I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told no because I was talking to the coordinator. Again told not their problem. I showed them my confirmation email and she went and got her team leader. She said she would honor my appointment but it was still going to be at least a half hour wait. After a half hour, I was called back to the window. A man said he was just told to enter my information. He was incredibly rude and kept saying it wasn't his problem. After another Ling wait. I finally got the tests done. I learned from the phlebotomy that he had worked at the goodyear location and they were told not to put up signs and were not to call patients with appointments scheduled to let them know the goodyear location was closing. He said that the Avondale office was covering for the goodyear office but that no one knows that unless they come to the Avondale office. He also said that the Avondale office treats them as walking and makes people wait 3 to 4 hours. I would give it no stars if I could. There is NO reason people should have to wait 3-4 hours for a urine test. Really there is no reason people should wait for any lab test for 3-4 hours. I have a long history of working in the lab, in all kinds of settings, and we NEVER had waits like this. Patients should be in and out within 10 minutes. The front desk staff is rude to people who ask questions. This is clearly normal here and there is no extra space for patients to sit. People are sitting on the floors in the hallways and near the elevators. The people who call your name don't even get close to the door so the people in the hallway can hear them. read more

Both my kids needed lab work for Jobs, one went one day and another a different day. Both had nothing but problems to get in and the lady at the counter is the rudest person ever and needs to be replaced with a kind person. Hire more employees. Fiancé was quoted a one hour wait(added to text list) After 1.5 hours she decided to check inside. When she approached the desk she was told it would be a 2 hour wait. Once she reminded the employee she had already been waiting 1.5 hours, the answer changed into "I'm not sure how much longer it's going to be." It is now 10 hours later, business closed 2.5 hours ago. Never received a text. If she had stayed she would have sat there waiting until 3 pm when they closed. Worthless business. The reviews are accurate. I arrived at 6:55am on Friday 6/14/24 and there was a lot of people waiting already. As soon as they opened at 7 the front staff was rude. The lobby was filled with older people using walkers/canes. Staff was frustrated helping them check in the kiosk and literally yelled at each person to sit down once they were done. Why are they forced to use the kiosk if they don't understand it either? A normal check in would be helpful. Although staff spoke Spanish they seemed to dislike to help the Spanish speaking population, which was 90% of the lobby. The younger girl (curly black hair & fake lashes) was the worst. The gentlemen who took my blood was impartial. Not rude, not nice, just took spoke to confirm my and and I was on my way. Don't expect any type of care, empathy, or even assistance from front desk. Waited about 50 min for a pre-employment drug test. The staff member that called me in was sarcastic since the get go. Calls me, tells me I should've had my ID in my hands, I say "I've been waiting for 45 minutes", and she says "it's ok". So I guess you hold your ID in your hands as long as you have to wait. (Eye roll) By the way, it was readily available in my back pocket and not in my wallet and purse. It took me a second to get it! It's my first drug test ever, so naturally I don't know what to expect. She takes me in, instructs me to stand in the corner, verifies me, tells me to open the door to the restroom and place everything in a locker. She goes on to explain (speaking fast) to me on what to do. I didn't hear when she told me to put the toilet paper in the toilet that was tinted dark blue. Everything was taped off so you don't flush or wash your hands. I open the door and ask what I do with the toilet paper, she laughs sarcastically and says, "let me explain again". I didn't need the whole freakin explanation again. (Just tell me where to put the damn toilet paper). She then tells me I can go back and read the email from my employer that explains how to prep for the drug test. Does it explain that everything in the bathroom was taped off, you don't flush or wash your hands? What's the point of her telling me this? To be an ass, right? Yeah, let me go back after the fact. Business manager/owner: My point is, Patients are there for a reason, a reason that can possibly be life threatening or just stressful and maybe not, we have to wait a long time, and to top it off, your staff member is unprofessional, has a fat head (Ms. Perfect) and treats patients like they're stupid. Once I arrived I checked in at the kiosk. Within 5 minutes they called me to confirm my insurance and then another 5 minutes to call me back. I walked into this location because I wanted to make an appointment. Now mind you I tried using the Lab Corp app and it wasn't working. Called this location twice and left several messages with no return call and it's been over a week. Don't bother calling Surprise they just hang up on you. Walked into the office it's a long line. Receptionist shouting telling everyone to check in at kiosk first. I make it up to the front desk and she looks like she is really overworked and sitting next to her is a woman on her personal cell phone searching the net or reading e-mails. ( Needs to be fired ) I don't know but if it's personal take it to the back or get off your phone and help the other woman. I asked if Surprise office takes walk-Ins because I definitely am not coming back here. She asked woman on phone if Surprise takes walk-Ins and the woman didn't miss a beat on her phone didn't look up just answered, " Yeah they do." Wow! Office is dingy, looks unclean. I was trying to get an appointment before my deductible reset in August and that's not happening. Thanks for making me pay another $1,000 out of pocket deductible that I just finally met and will need to now pay another one on 8/1 with no job!!! Started this process with LabCorp 7/19. REALLY dislike this location. First of all, their parking lot is a joke. No matter what time you arrive you have to drive around numerous times just to find a parking spot. Then regardless if you've made an appointment or not they keep you waiting 20 to 30 minutes before they even call you up to get your lab order. Once you've done that step expect to wait another 10-15 minutes! Why bother offering appointments if you still keep patients waiting an extended amount of time? I do understand your office is a busy location, but at least honor the time somewhat for those people who have made appointments. And, is it too much to ask of the front office staff to smile and put SOME effort into being friendly? Their sour attitude just add to the frustration patients are already feeling.
