We are now expected to wait 2 weeks, pay for another 200$ for blood draw and shipping, and then wait another 10 days for answers. We have already sunk a 1000$ into this scam of a company. Despite asking for a refund or at least from them to overnight the kit and pay for blood draws through their partner labs, they refused to accommodate even a little bit. I have never wasted so much money on something so pointless. It feels criminal to be taken advantage of by a company like this after spending so much money during one of the most stressful times of my life.

My son typically needs a numbing freeze applied to his arm before injections to help make the experience manageable. We've learned that there's no way to request or schedule this in advance, which is already difficult--but today we were told no one was available to assist with it at all. Situations like this make an already stressful experience even harder. It's a clean facility that wasn't as busy as some of the other labs in the area that can have very long wait times. The front desk receptionist was very nice, and gave me the paperwork to fill out. I showed her my doctor's order and she went over the pricing with me. Because my Dr. ordered a CBC, CMP, TSH, and Lipid panel, I paid for the annual package that had all of those (with Hemoglobin A1C thrown in) for $129. The annual checkup panel is cheaper than paying for each test separately, and definitely beats the prices of other competing labs in the area. Even as a walk-in, I didn't have to wait long and before I knew it, it was my turn. What really blew me away is that this was one of the smoothest blood draws I have EVER had. I don't know how she did it, but the girl who drew my blood was so swift and skilled that I hardly felt the needle. I had my head turned and was busy chatting with another patient who was leaving, and I found myself laughing and enjoying the conversation when normally I'm quiet and tense during the blood draw.
