This is a review for comida (lunch). It looks like a nice bar with good snacks too, but we didn´t try them (yet!).
Came here for lunch with my spouse because I work nearby and we were just strolling around. We had the menu del día of course. The starters were good. I had a fiedo dish that basically tasted like paella with noodles instead of rice. My daughters would have loved it and just called it mac and cheese. My spouse had a cream of carrot soup that he liked so much I didn´t even get a taste.
The main courses were decent. I had drumsticks (jamoncitos) with a really delicious sauce. He had a steak with a chimichurri sauce that didn´t have much flavor.
As per usual, I ended with coffee and he chose dessert. The flan was a bit grainy. His assessment was that they overcooked the eggs in the flan, failing to achieve the smooth texture he prefers. The flavor was good but nothing particularly special. We did like the fact that they give you the option to pay an extra euro to get both coffee and dessert.
Pleasant atmosphere and decent service. read more
