She went above and beyond over and over again, including personally picking up our flower girl basket from my mother-in-law the day before the wedding, dropping off (free!) flowers so that my mother-in-law could decorate our cake with them, throwing in a few little outdoor centerpieces for our cocktail tables at no extra charge (after personally consulting with me and sharing her honest opinion about the venue, and weather or not we needed outdoor centerpieces), and working with my father-in-law to decorate the arbor after he finished setting it up at our venue the morning of the wedding. During the planning process, she asked ALL the right questions so that she knew exactly what I wanted for the flowers, and they were absolutely, completely PERFECT. I can't stress that enough. I am so, so glad I didn't settle for the first few florists that I came across, and instead held out for the one who would make me feel so truly happy on my wedding day. I've been going to this place for years. This year we hated to see some of the old time businesses…read morewere closed for various reasons but we can always depend on MM for a fun visit. This year I chose to purchase some 1OZ Silver ingots that Commemorate the train engines that serviced VC in the late 1800's. The staff, Lucy and Lorraine were great for a lot of reasons. Two days later I decided to complete the set of 7 ingots after only purchasing 3 the first visit. I called Lorraine from down in Bridgeport and bought the last 4 ingots. She was great on the phone and said that she would ship the last 4 on Friday. Lucy and Lorraine are the best and I will be back in May 2022. Thank you Lorraine and Lucy. The Marshall's have great employees there.
