Me and my friends enjoyed our time at La Vista. They have an all Asian menu so you will find food from Thailand, India, Vietnam, etc They also have a salad bar, which has plenty of options to pick from. I really liked their Octopus salad. We ordered the Tuna tartare, samosa and tacos. This was followed by some Lamb Vindaloo, shrimp pasta and Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The ambience is very fun and this place turns into a lounge/bar/club on certain days after 11 pm. So after dinner you can just go to the lounge area and get a whole diff experience. Their decor is beautiful with umbrellas in the roof The servers are polite and attend to you diligently all the time. Reservations are highly recommended as they won't get you seated otherwise.

We made sure we made reservations once we checked into our hotel based on the Yelpers reviews on Omni, sure glad we did. We enjoyed our meal, our server was David, he was outstanding, fast, attentive and very friendly. La Vista should be proud to have him as an employee. It was an interesting take on Asian food. We ordered the tuna wontons and samosas for appetizers, both extremely fresh and delicious, for our entrees we ordered the lamb, beef curry and fish filet, fried pollo, and we loved it! My 6 year old daughter is PICKY and she said she loved the battered fish, she enjoyed the texture so much she wants it for breakfast! The salad bar was exceptional with a cheese spread, salad bar and assorted bread. Overall, I'd recommend making reservations if you're staying at Omni, it won't disappoint, we hope you are fortunate enough to have David as your server! Excellente en espanol. Adios!

No longer Asian cuisine! It's a Brazilian steakhouse and they serve a variety of meats! Everything tastes amazing and it was wonderful!!

Waiters speak Spanish and English, are very friendly, and absolutely no wait for the waterfront table. The shrimp ceviche had so many shrimp with a tasty sweet sauce and avocado garnish. Guacamole was perfectly prepared, and all meals come with tortilla chips and a variety of salsas on a decorative boat tray. The tuna steak and Salmon with Lime Sauce were prepared perfectly and were both tasty and high quality. Sadly, the food was so delicious and filling we had no room to try the desserts. About a block away from the Isla Mall, but a much more authentic experience than the mall restaurants. A must-try dinner spot for seafood lovers in the Cancun hotel zone.

Navíos was nothing short of amazing!…read more My big baby and I went on our first (of many) vacation to Cancun. While there we picked three nice restaurants to try and Navíos was one of them. Ambiance is gorgeous. On the bay, this gorgeous restaurant is sexy and giving out door classy if that makes sense. Customer service was outstanding and the servers were super friendly. My big baby doesn't speak a lick of Spanish and they spoke English which was great. For all you non Spanish speaking people, have no fear they speak English too. Loved the Alligator sign as it did make the visit exciting, I really wanted to see one come near us but no luck as those visitors are night time party animals. Let's get into it! We are in Mexico where chips and salsa are complimentary! They were so good and the salsas were delicious. Who needs a real app when you have these! Shrimp Alfredo - It was good! Fish of the day - (native to the waters from there) He loved it! Dessert- We passed! Being on the bay there are tons of mosquitoes. We had to make a fast break to our hotel. Although the food was good we would likely never choose a restaurant with outdoor seating as this proved to be a bit of a challenge. They did have off which helped. The only thing I like biting me while on a lovely vacay is my lover! No bueno to the mosquitoes. Side note: No stars off! The place is gorgeous and food was great!

There is parking right by it, but it only can hold 10 cars maybe? We lucked out and found a spot. VERY IMPORTANT, they only accept cash so make sure you have cash. They take pesos and dollars. You walk down stairs to enter the restaurant and it is very inviting and over looks the water. Apparently you can frequently see crocodiles in the water. We were not so lucky. At the advice of our friend and the waiter we got several of the Pescadillas (fried fish tacos). The waiter explained that the fish was actually shark. The tacos are 28 pesos each, we each got 3. And they were delicious, we also ordered the Shrimp with garlic mojo. The shrimp was sooo good, as is in the name, it is very garlicky but very good. Just bring some gum. Taking into consideration the ambiance, food, and cost. This was one of the best restaurants we have visited during our stay. We'll be back.

It's a steakhouse so think of leather, wood, modern, sleek, dimly lit, out door action taking place, and docking available. It's fine dining at the beach and how sexy is Harry's? Very Sexy! Part of the Anderson group we learned that Cancuns best restaurants are part of a chain and glad we were able to try two of them, Harry's being one. Service - Top notch. You know it's fine dining with the service you're getting as soon as you walk in. Let's get into it! Complimentary Bread - Yes please, the best ever! Appetizer - Oyster Rockefeller- These oysters were the biggest I've had seen in life. I did like them but they were lukewarm, they also didn't have bacon which for me, I needed it. They were just too big not to have something extra. Good nonetheless. Burger - Of course I got a burger because I'm a kid at heart. I loved it and that bun omg! Fries were great. Short Rib Sandwich - Delicious he loved the Au jus that went with it. Dessert - Chocolate Cake - It was good but had a bitter chocolate flavor. We always get dessert and this was not our favorite. Complimentary Cotton Candy? And that is exactly why they are 5 stars. It's like a whole love story in here, they aren't perfect but they sure make up for it in ways that count! Harry's has a wonderful setting directly on the water. You can access by car or by boat. They presented menus and all steaks come in 3 versions: Kobe, Waygu or USDA. I have to say crazy prices and I am accustomed to Miami. A waiter brings an actual display of the steaks to the table. The tomahawk has to be 3 feet tall. I cannot imagine anyone eating it! We all ordered USDA filets in the mid $80 range. I ordered mine medium. It was overcooked. No pink/red in the middle and very dry. I was a bit disappointed. We were never rushed. At the end, they brought a piece of cake for the birthday celebrant and a huge cotton candy for the table to enjoy. We each had individual bills. I assume because I was English speaking, they converted mine from pesos to US$'s. I always pay in pesos. The tip has been added and my bill was $139. Not sure how it went from $88 to $139. I did not drink any alcohol - only water. It was fine for a one time visit.

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

All-in-all it was worth the inconvenience. Very eclectic menu, warm atmosphere and outstanding service. I started withe the Mango-Tamarind: Lettuce, Indian walnut, mango, blueberries, Cotija cheese, mango-habanero dressing and tamarind billet. Unique and tasty. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. This was a 5-star dish! I couldn't resist ordering a side dish though I didn't need to because the enchiladas were really enough, so I indulged myself with fries: these were not your run of the mill French fries. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. Finally, if you like ice cream I highly recommend that you order BOTH offerings: 1) "ICE CREAM TASTING" - Strawberry ice cream, chocolate ice cream from Metate, marzipan ice cream and vanilla from Papantla. Served with grated coconut, chocolate grain, M&M's, Oreo cookies and ice cream cones; and, 2) "PORFIRIO'S MOLECULAR ICE CREAM" - served with cajeta Worcestershire sauce in an ice cream cone. I took some notes and this is what I thought of the dishes. Xoajacan Imoladas - The mole is perfection. The flautas, superb. Everything in this plate is a symphony of what I would expect from Xoajaca. 9.5/10 Barbacoa Bonemarrow - Barcacoa is on point. The Marrow is Sublime. Together with the accompaniments is superb. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.
