This has to be the worst nail salon I've ever been to. A few months ago I came in and they had one person working and asked me to come back later, so I came back the next day. I came back the next day, same problem. I have generally avoided going here, but it's the closest place to my house, and today I just needed to get my dip powder/tips taken off, I figured it would be fine. Wrong! There was no AC, it took over 30 mins, the woman who cut my nails almost cut into the beds multiple times, left all my nails jagged and uneven. This was the most simple thing I can imagine asking them to do and it still manages to look horrible. The worst experience ever . I needed my toes to match my nails when she started with the bright emerald green. I told her that wasn't going to work. She refused to listen and still painted all of them when I told her that again this is not going to work it's not the right color. I need them darker. She pissed when the manager told her to change it because he overheard us. She slapped on a different color and just it was awful. That's how she left my toes and told me to be careful so I didn't mess them up. She smeared the top right off one while I was getting out of the chair then tried to "fix" it like that was going to acceptable. Are you kidding me!! This is a sticky gloopy mess! I told her I was going to have to take it all off anyway and redo them so not to even worry about it. I went to Walmart and got the color I needed and had to repaint them at home myself. Took my sister in law here to get her nails done for her birthday- WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. She asked for almond shaped and tried to correct the lady prior to applying the acrylic and was told "to wait for the finished product, that she's not done yet" for them to be the worst set of nails. she expressed she didn't like them and the lady became very rude and pushed her feelings aside. Amazing work at cheap prices! They also take their time & get all the way to the "quick" of ur nail bed. Joe, the owner is awesome! The girls lack a lot of personality but they do work hard. They work late even. I am very pleased & so was my daughter. I will definitely return. They are clean. My daughter said they get close to the cuticle which makes the nails last so much longer. Also, "the brands they use never crack on my daughter, she said." It's nice to learn about different cultures as well. I am very pleased. I went here bc I use to go across the street to Holly's nails & spa but she abuses her employees behind closed doors. Also they are more expensive & tries to charge u for much more, even the "snacks & drinks" they "offer." Go to La Vie Nails & Spa instead, u will be glad u did. read more

My friend and I had asked simply for a French mani pedi (which on avg. ranges between $35-65) yet we paid $100 for. On top of that my skin had been cut and a nail was applied crooked. But, this morning one of the nails broke in half again and I went back to get them fixed and now one of my nails is darker than the rest and pointing at a 45° angle compared to the rest of them. I recently went with a great friend of mine, both got our nails and pedicures done. The pedicures are NOT up to par, the nail polish is not well done, and my nails are cut crooked. However, the massage and exfoliation part was good. Regarding our nails, I got a full set acrylic, my friend got full gel, and my nails are ruined. Not even a week later, the glue is coming off, and the skin around my nails look dried out and is peeling. Being one who often gets acrylics, this has never happened to be before. Also, we went with appointments for 5:30 pm. We didn't get acknowledged until around 6 pm. (They close at 7.) They asked what we wanted done, we replied with what was listed on our previously made appt. Instantly, they were aggravated. They seated us in the pedicure chairs, and left us for a solid 20 minutes. They began working on my friend, and left me for another 10 at least. Then, they were almost closed, so i had someone doing my acrylics in the air while still getting a pedicure. We were both overcharged at least $20. Acrylics plus a regular pedicure DOES NOT cost $80. Customer service was not great, they were very rough and in an "I don't care" attitude. We will not be back. read more

The business itself is nice and very clean. The major downfall is the wait time. It doesn't matter if they are busy or not. I actually even went the day it opened. Several of the workers barely know ANY English so I usually have to call on the owner to communicate what i am wanting. Once they seat you be prepared to sit there for a while ( and no one will check on you). I even tried doing the online appt but by the time they responded I had already gone in. I've had a few bad experiences here, but kept going because it was close to my home. However, tonight was the last time. I got there at 5 and immediately started soaking my nails to get the old tips off. My nails stayed in the acetone for 45 minutes, without ever being checked if they were done. I had to leave after an hour and 45 minutes, nails incomplete, and was still asked to pay $45. When I asked how it was that much when I had no paint on my nails (I only had the new tips on), I was told that they expected me to come back the following day. I went there and asked for a very basic Maroon dark red set and proceeded to show them a picture and it came out bright bright red so the color it's self was bad. The person that did my nails butchered all eight of my ten fingers. I have never been to a salon when they scraped my skin of but it really hurts and I was bleeding on all of my fingers, but I tried to look past it because the stylist was trying to do the right shape of nail I wanted and she was working hard. But still like you should see that someone is bleeding and stop. And to add the cherry on top it's only been a day and 6 nails have already cracked in half. Best nail salon in Norman. Everyone that works there is so kind and welcoming, especially compared to the other salons in Norman. Their prices are also cheaper than a lot of the others too. They have a huge selection of colors. I've gone there every 2 weeks to get my nails done since they opened and I have loved my nails every time. I've gotten square, almond, and coffin before and they did a great job on all of the shapes! They also do a great acrylic French ombré, which many other salons that I've been to struggle with. Their pedicures are great too. They don't have a student discount, but they have a rewards program where you get $10 off after 10 visits (plus it's electronic so you don't have to worry about losing your punch card). The inside looks nice and modern and is very clean. They also have free drinks, which not all salons in the area offer. There is sometimes a wait and they tend to seat more people than they can work on to try to be accommodating, but this can easily be avoided by calling ahead 30 minutes or scheduling an appointment. I've been pleased with everyone that has done my nails so far, but Hannah and Kent always go above and beyond my expectations! read more
