Three Christmas' ago my teenage son (at the time) got me a gift card from here. He worked and saved up for the gift. It wasn't a lot to the everyday person but to his momma & him it was of great sentimental value. He specifically asked if it ever expired bc he knew my health was at a low that year. They promised it never expired. I even called & asked after it was given to me for Christmas. Fast forward to last week. I have recently also moved but was back in Norman visiting & decided that since my health was better I would go use the gift card for Botox again. The worker that was there claimed that it had been four years & that gift cards expire after a year. I questioned it & she said she would reach out to the owner Ashley (which is who used to do most of my services). I was told that they would not be honoring the gift card. The card clearly says that there's no expiration date on the back. The face value is not that much to the everyday person but to me, they devalued a gift from my son. It's very unprofessional & illegal. Federal law says gift cards have to be honored for five years unless clearly marked.

Not sure why people are freaking out about having to pay to see a specialist or put a card on file....... It is precautionary for the business as people will schedule and not show for their appts, regularly. Dermatologists notoriously take months to get in to see. If someone no shows most people waiting to get in cannot drop everything & come in... I require a form of payment on file for new clients or clients who are inconsistent as a salon owner b/c there is a cost to do business even if someone doesn't show. Idk. Maybe I'm insensitive *shrugs. Anyway, I've been in at least 3 times for various skin concerns, and the staff have all been helpful, kind, and communicative. I also love the clean, well-designed office, and it helps that it is close to the Highway/many other businesses I frequent.

Word to the wise: learn the laser that's going to be uses on you before doing this. Oasis uses the Alma Soprano - one of the gentlest lasers around. I felt absolutely no pain. The tech was amazing! He is very specific with his language to be sure I understand what he is saying. He is reassuring and has never failed to resolve my eye issues. I trust his expertise and now my husband sees him, too. He has wet macular degeneration. Dr. Razook sent him to Dr. Haivala who is also phenomenal. His practice has gotten much busier now. Others seem to feel the same way I do.
